After two days of feeling unwell, I finally began to recover. Although my body still felt a bit weak, I was relieved that I was no longer irritable and short-tempered like I was during my illness.

I had a lot of work to do, but at least I could face the day with a clearer mind.

As I trudged to my walk-in wardrobe, I heard a knock on the door. I paused, wondering who could be visiting me so early in the morning.

Without waiting for my response, Liam entered my room without permission. I couldn't help but feel a bit annoyed at his intrusion, but as soon as I saw him, all annoyance faded away.

Liam looked incredibly dashing in his white shirt and dark pants. The contrast between the white and dark colors made him look more striking than usual.

I couldn't help but stare at him for a moment, admiring his confident demeanor and charming smile.

Suddenly, Liam spoke up. "How are you feeling?" he asked with a gentle tone, interrupting my thoughts. I shrugged and replied, "I'm feeling better."

As I prepared to leave, Liam insisted on coming with me, and I agreed, grateful for his support but skeptical that my father could do something stupid. As we made our way to the club, I couldn't help but notice Liam observing me silently.I had no idea what he was thinking, but I knew that he was always watching, always analyzing. I wondered what he saw when he looked at me.When we arrived at the club, the atmosphere was dark and dingy, and the smell of sweat, heat, and alcohol filled the air. My heart raced as I scanned the room

Liam's POV I drove to Alice's house after she left the house in anger. I was equally mad that she wasn't saying anything to me about the bruise on her wrist. She ignored everything I said, avoiding the topic. I called Simone and told him to meet me at Alice's house. I drove into her house and parked. I made my way inside and asked one of the maids where the weapon room was. Every Mafia Don has one. I waited for Simone to come, before I went to the weapon room. As soon as he came we made our way to the room. Immediately, it was opened, I marveled at what I saw. It's container all kind of weapon. "Fuck! This is sick!" Simone marveled. I walk confidently into the casino, my steps heavy and purposeful. The sound of slot machines and the chatter of people fills the air. I can feel eyes on me as I pass by, some curious, some intimidated. I make my way through the crowds and towards the VIP lounge, where I know Alice's father often spends his time. As I approach the door, two large

Liam's POV.Simone and the rest of my guards carried Alice's father and put him in the van.We left the casino through the back. Everywhere was clear and nobody even saw us. So many security loopholes.I entered my car and gave the driver the location of a deserted warehouse I purchased earlier. Simone was in the van with Alice's father and the guards.Staying in that car with them will make me do something I'll regret to Alice's father. He dared to touch my wife. I was livid. Once I got to the warehouse, I dropped off my car and made my way inside.Simone would bring the old man inside soon. Once they came in, they pulled the black cloth from his face and immediately, he started threatening to have me killed. I just looked at him with a blank face."You American bastard, how dare you? I gave you my daughter to do with her as you please and now you want to repay me this way?" You are very lucky to have her. If she wasn't my daughter, I would have had my way with her" he spat out."Wh

Alice's POVAfter I left the car in anger and also spoke with one of my father's men, I kept walking till I got tired. I was mad at myself for being vulnerable in front of Liam. For fucks, sake. I'm supposed to be strong. Tired of walking, I looked around and my eyes caught a man coming down from his car. He looked like a banker which made me roll my eyes.He had his hair gelled to the back and it seemed as though he just got the car.I walked to him, his back was facing me and that gave me the advantage to catch him unaware.I pulled out a gun I had taken from Silver before I started wandering off.I grabbed the man from the collar of his shirt and placed my gun on his temple. "Your car keys. Now!" I said in his ears.I thought he was gonna struggle with me, but cooperated and gave me his keys.

Alice's POVI woke up the next morning feeling pain in my body which was due to the wandering I did in the city yesterday. My head was also aching badly. The lights entering the room were too much and I hissed as I stood up from the bed. Alek must have opened the blinds earlier. I looked around and noticed that he wasn't in the room again. As I walked to the bathroom, I noticed the condition of the room, yesterday's clothes were still scattered around. And the bottle of wine I drank was also on the ground. I knew I shouldn't have drank too much yesterday, if Alek didn't come early yesterday, I might have asked Maria to send me some more bottles.I did my morning routine and wore one of Alek's joggers and t-shirts. I made my way down the stairs to the kitchen. Alek was making breakfast and was wearing an apron. If I wasn't having a headache right now, I would have thrown a silly comment at him. I walked past him not even bothering to greet him but making my way to the cupboard to

Liam's POVI watched in satisfaction as the snakes attacked Alice's father in different areas of his body. His screaming was music to my ears. It didn't even take long for him to give up the ghost. The snakes entered his stomach, and thighs, some popped out of his eye socket. The view in front of me was just pure bliss. I saw Simone filming the scene. He was a psychopath. When I was sure that he was dead, we left the warehouse and went to Alicia's house. I don't know whether to be happy or scared of my actions. Would Alice be happy with what I just did? I sighed as we continued the journey home. I knew that by now the news would have gotten to her. All I have to do is just wait for her return. When we got to her house, I made my way to my room and took off my clothes.I walked to the shower and stayed under it. I closed my eyes imagining the look of horror on her father's face. I didn't feel sorry for him because I know that he has done worse to people. The snakes would definite

Liam's POV. I knew she was concerned about me which I was grateful for but I wasn't scared of her father's minions. I sighed and answered her but I wasn't. "But I wasn't killed. They can't kill me." She chuckled and picked up a cup of coffee and sipped it. She seemed to be at peace and I was very happy for her. I could look at her all day long and not get tired. She was a piece of work. A maid came to my side and gave me a cup of black coffee and sipped it before I started eating. The food was delicious and I couldn't help but comment. "This tastes so good." "Well, I hope you don't think that I made it, cause I can't cook to save my life." She chuckled and I laughed along with her. I love her bluntness. She says things just the way they are. I spotted a fish tank across the room. It seemed to contain deadly fish. I looked at her and raised my eyebrows, pointing to the tank. "Oh, that! I just love to have them around. I love that they are dangerous and still look cute. J

Liam's POV When we walked in I saw the smile on her face brighten up she looked so happy and said, "I think this is the best date I've been on." Simone winked at me after her statement and I couldn't help but smile. Four men were on their knees with their hands tied to their backs. Alice made her way in and walked toward the window of the room where the snakes were kept. She stared in awe as she looked at the time. I paid the owner of the snakes again just to be able to use them today. Guards stood behind the men that were kneeling on the floor blindfolded. I walked towards the men and spoke. "These men gang-raped a thirteen-year-old girl and killed her parents after they found out about the rape," I explained. "That is so disgusting!" Alice said. Before any of us could register what was about to happen, she pulled out her knife and slammed it into one of the men's thighs. The man screamed out in pain. That would definitely hurt. "Don't you want to see the snakes in action?"

As the Mafia committee members entered the warehouse, their presence alone commanded authority. Their expressions were stern, their eyes piercing, and their voices resonated with a mixture of intimidation and determination. The Italian Don, bound and surrounded, stood before them, his defiant demeanor faltering in the face of their collective power.I watched with a mix of anticipation and apprehension as the committee began their interrogation, their questions cutting through the air like a sharpened blade. Each inquiry was calculated, designed to dismantle the Don's defenses and extract the truth. One committee member stepped forward, his voice laced with an underlying threat. "Don, your actions have endangered the delicate balance we uphold. You will find no solace in your lies.
