Alice's POV

We soon got to the Salvador's house and we made our way inside the house. I kept to myself most of the time because Liam disappeared to lord knows where.

Matt soon came to me and kept me company. We kept talking about different things. He is so caring, he kept getting me champagne and didn't even make me feel bored.

I saw my father talking with different people. I saw him enjoy himself and laugh more.

He was enjoying the attention. After a while, he moved away from everyone to go talk to Liam's parents. I saw his eyes crease with every laughter.

He would sometimes gesture with his hands when he was trying to explain something and I saw how invested everyone was listening to his lies.

I just shaked my head hoping that everything would be over soon.

Silver was not too far from me, she would sometimes raise her brows at me to ask if I was okay but I'd just nod my head and tell her that I'm fine. "Are you good, Alice?" I heard Matt ask. "I'm fine." I answered him.

Alice POVSoon, I finished my pasta and picked up the chocolate slice. I picked up a fuck and cut out of the cake. As soon as the cake entered my mouth, I closed my eyes and sighed as the sweetness of the cake burst on my tongue. I heard Matt chuckle beside me."Alice dear, you need to relax with the food. You don't want to upset your tummy now, do you?" I heard Matt's mom say beside me. A sassy reply danced on my tongue but I held myself and completely ignored her. I have had enough with my father and I didn't want to indulge her. Matt seemed to sense the tension in the air because the next thing he did was to lead his mother away from our table. When I tell you that this boy is kind-hearted, believe me. If that woman said another word about the way I was eating, I might have stabbed her in the eye.I looked around to see if Liam was anywhere near but no, he wasn't in sight.Son of a bitch! I'm just sitting down here all alone eating cake as if to console myself. I saw some peop

I was having a headache and I didn't have any strength in me to endure the pain any longer.I scrunch my face as the pin pulls in hair in the process of removing them. When I was done, I washed the makeup off my face and dried my face with a towel. The next problem was my dress. I'm not sure I can take it off myself because of the rope laced at the back.I made my way back into the room and Liam entered at the same time, carrying some clothes in his hands. He looked at me and smiled. Alice's POVThe next morning I woke up and found myself in the room. I looked at my phone to check the time and noticed that it was nine in the morning. The blinds were down which I was grateful for because if it wasn't I would have been feeling very grumpy. I swung my leg over the bed and made my way towards my bed to ease myself. When I was done, I opened the cabinet to see if there was a spare toothbrush. Luckily for me, I found one. I used it to brush my teeth before leaving the bathroom. I left my room and made my way downstairs. I made no sound as I descended the stairs. It's one of the traits I have learned over time. The smell of pancakes and bacon filled the air. I quickly increase my package feeling hungry instantly.I really hoped Liam would be the one making the food but to my great disappointment, it was the maid.
