As I braced for the imminent onslaught, a vicious sensation of anticipation coursed through my veins.

The hubris of our adversaries, believing they could overturn our Mafia, was both hilarious and frustrating.

I decided to play their game, enticing them into a false feeling of security while strategically putting my guys in crucial spots around our establishments.

With a mischievous smile, I planned our defensive strategy, guaranteeing that every move they made would be met with a rapid and prepared reaction.

Our warehouses were secured, our guards positioned strategically, and our monitoring systems improved to capture even the smallest word of their entry.

I sat in my office, surrounded by monitors showing live feeds from our many sites. The tension in the room was evident, but I delighted in it. I knew they would attack soon, like dumb pawns in a game they could never win.

I reclined back in my chair, lazily drinking my coffee, while I watched the minutes tick past.
