The next few weeks were filled with Aria going over to Asher’s where Lori was. Lori was apparently helping plan the wedding. I would drag Asher out with Eli and I to grab what Lori instructed we needed, mostly to help keep Asher out of her hair.

It was going to be awhile before we knew what was going to happen to the man who abducted her. I knew Asher was planning on making sure he was thrown in prison.

Lori had only hinted to Aria about what happened. But Asher had admitted that Lori was slowly opening up to him every day. I had a feeling that they were going to end up together. He would kill for her. James Conner doesn’t know how lucky he is that he wasn’t already six feet under the ground.
