CHAPTER 154

After a considerable amount of time, I finally arrived at Jasmin's flat, and I had to take a deep breath to de-stress. It was then important to contain this confrontation.

If the problem of anger was an issue in this case I had to make sure that it did not obscure my vision from vital details sourced from the mini-case. Despite this, I felt the urge to scold her for what she had done to me but I had to contain myself.

I rang the bell and after a few minutes, the door slowly opened. Jasmin opened the door and her face lit up showing her feeling of surprise. She looked nervous and it was quite justifiable to do so.

"You need to tell me what is happening here!" she stammered out before taking a few steps back.

My voice was cold when I responded, "I think you know why I’m here." Without waiting for an invitation, I stepped inside. "We need to have a word."

Jasmin swallowed hard and closed the door behind me. She looked like she was about to break down, but I did not have time for her
