CHAPTER 74: GOING HOME

Octavia's POV

"Hurry your ass!" I shouted at Aiken. "Don't lose your britches! I'm coming!" He called out. "Jamela probably thinks we were kidnapped by now since we haven't shown," I said rolling eyes. "I'm here. I'm here," he grumbled throwing his bags over his shoulders. "So glad you could make it," I said rolling my eyes again. "Thanks to you I had an extra three weeks of torture. Remind me why you volunteered to stay longer again. Wait, your ego," he laughed. "Hush that filthy mouth of yours. I did no such thing," I laughed.

Both Aiken and me were excited to set out for revenge. Leaving Foxchase was enough to put fire up under us. This place was no easy feat, but it made us better. While we were here, Aiken filled me in on his mother, Carol's betrayal. Now, the Queen knows he is not dead. She hasn't uttered a word of this to the elders though. I'm wondering why, but she never does anything without an agenda. It clearly benefits her somehow.
