Carol's POV

"Adelina, have you spoken to your brother, Aiken?" I asked. "No, I have not. He's being stubborn," she grumbled. "Oh, okay," I replied. "I know you miss him, but he is weak for leaving his family. Can you just focus on my wedding and my coronation that's happening in a year?" Adelina pouted. "Adelina, honey, I should probably tell you that your father lives," I said hopeful. "Why hasn't he come to see me? Is this some sort of hoax?" she asked. "You must not tell a soul of this. He follows the rebel, McKenna. They are very dangerous," I tried warning her. "Mother, calm yourself. I will not tell a soul under one condition," she bargained. "Adelina, there's nothing to bargain. I know you want to meet with your father, but I don't see how it would happen," I sighed. "Well, that's disappointing," she grumbled. "Promise me you won't utter a word of this to ANYONE," I pleaded. "Of course," she nodded.
