Present time
McKenna's POV
"Your highness, Queen Antoinette has volunteered my hand for extra help in her absence. Is there anything I can get you all?" I asked, looking around the room. "Yes, go to the kitchen and fetch us something to warm our bellies and satisfy our thirst," Beta Vincent interjected. "Yes, Beta," I said, bowing my head, despising his lustful glare on me. "Hurry up!" he called out, making everyone in the room laugh at my embarrassment except the Alpha King, who busied himself with other matters.
I wouldn't dare talk back. I've seen the cruel ways they handle those that practice insubordination. I was neither a hero nor a coward. I just wanted to survive and then one day have my freedom. Queen Antoinette promised that I could leave the palace after serving under her for five years. I counted down the time. The money was decent but still not enough to travel far distances. Instead, I used it to puy necessities I required for hygiene, nothing fancy. I wanted out of this kingdom, even if it meant I had to live off the land. I was already experienced in it either way.
"The kitchen Omega baked fresh pastries for you and your company, my king. She has sent Ale and warm milk for those that would like to indulge," I said, setting down the tray in the middle of the table. "That will be all, Omega," Beta Vincent snickered. "McKenna," I said, hating to be called by my rank or the rank he gave me. "Huh?" he asked. "McKenna. My name is McKenna," I proudly stated. "Are you hitting on me, Omega?" he asked, immediately embarrassing me. "N-no, Beta..." I started saying before he cut me off. "Good, because I don't roll around with mutts that spread their legs for swamp meat. It would be best if you went and cleaned yourself efore you try to throw yourself at someone well above your station. Now, get out!" he said, physically pushing me toward the door. "That will be all, McKenna. Thank you," the Alpha King said, sending Beta Vincent a glare. "Yes, my king," I bowed before leaving them to their patriotic duty as they called it.
The Beta didn't like that I corrected him with my name. He's such an asshole, I thought to myself. I didn't miss the fact that I addressed the Alpha King, and not once had he given me the respect of even acknowledging my existence until now. Was he afraid I would throw myself at him too? I would never do such a thing!
Later that night...
"My king, would you like something brought up to you?" I sleepily asked. "I wouldn't mind some chamomile. We went hunting earlier, and I fear I have come up against poison Ivy," he said, revealing a rash on his shoulder. "Yes, my lord," I said, hurrying to the aides' quarters.
I found my way back to the king's room but not before the Beta stopped me.
"If you ever disrespect me like that again, I will have your head and your body after," he said, painfully biting my shoulder, causing me to scream out in pain.
He covered my mouth as tears streamed down my face. I fought against his hold only to have it tighten.
"Now, tend to the king...OMEGA," he spat, and I finally freed myself from his hold and ran away.
I tried to clean the dry blood from my shoulder and hide the unhealed scar.
"What happened, McKenna?" Alpha King, Lincoln asked. "N-nothing, your highness. I have the chamomile for you," I stammered. "Thanks," he dryly said, eyeing me suspiciously. "Would that be all, my king?" I asked. "No, can you apply it for me? I think it's a little further than I could reach," he said, removing his top. "O-okay," I stuttered, taking in his physique.
Oh Goddess, why must you torture me like this? He looked like a God chiseled from the finest of stone.
"McKenna?" he called out. "Y-yes, my king," I said, pacing toward him.
Oh shit! He caught me gawking at him. I was not trying to be a fusspot about his looks, but my wolf, Halo seemed to be in awe too.
"Give it here. I will do my best applying it," Alpha King, Lincoln said, trying to fight me for the chamomile mixture. "I apologize, my king. I am more than capable. I just have never been near a half-naked wolf before unless we were all shifting," I admitted.
He studied my face searching for a lie. I would hate Queen Antionette hearing about me being unable to care for. theking in her sted. I had to do this.
"Never?" He asked, intrigued. "No, my lord. I lived a pretty sheltered life," I answered honestly. "Well, that's pretty honorable of you. Not many can say the same," he stated. "I take it you have heard the whispers of what is done in the dark," I said, hoping he had not heard those horrid rumors that spread about me. "There's not much that gets past me, especially if they are untrue," he said with a smirk. "There are many about me. I cannot fathom where they have come from either. They are all untrue, my lord," I bluntly said. "I know," he replied. "How is it that you are so sure?" I chuckled, but quickly regarind my composure. "Let's just say that I am a good reader of wolves," he smiled. "Yes, my lord," I said, finishing the last bit of exposed skin that showed traces of poison Ivy.
I cleaned the mess as I continued stealing glances at his exposed skin. To touch him sent chills throughout my body. I wonder if a handmaiden had ever thrown herself at the Alpha King. Maybe that's why he had been cold toward me before? He didn't strike me as the type to tiptoe outside of his mate bond.
I readied myself to leave but stopped in my tracks when he called out to me.
"Do not mind the Beta. He has a crush on you," he said. "I doubt that. He beds omegas only to degarde them after," I relpied before slapping my hand over my mouth. "Do not be embarrassed. I have had a serious conversation with my Beta. He understands the severity of the consequences if it persists," he growled. "Yes, my lord," I said fearfully of his growing anger. "You may go, McKenna. I am forever grateful," he said, dismissing me.
Alpha King Lincoln's POV
Jealousy washed over me once I confirmed my suspicions about Vincent's feelings for McKenna. She didn't recoil from him, but I could sense the fear that lingered behind her eyes.
I watched out of the window as she stopped to appreciate the beauty of the surrounding daffodils. If no one knew any better, you would swear this omega had no worries in the world. It was all a facade. I knew she desperately wanted to see her family. I heard a rumor that Antionette forbids it. I'm not sure why though. I planned to change that.
"Vincent, what's the deal? Did the omega upset you?" I chuckled. "No!" He hurriedly answered. "Then what's gotten into you? Was she a bad lay or something?" I probed curiously. "I haven't had her...yet," he coughed with mischevious glint in his eyes. "Ohhhh, that's what is. I take it that you're not enjoying the chase," I laughed. "Not at all. She's but an uppity omega for no good reason at all," he scoffed. "Well, is she your mate?" I asked. "The Goddess plays many tricks. I thought she was, but somehow she isn't," he explained almost sounding unapproving. "Why do you sound disappointed?" I asked, dumbfounded. "Can we not talk about this, big brother?" He asked, rolling his eyes. "Fine, keep your temper and your dick in check around the help. Can you do that?" I sarcastically asked. "It depends," he chuckled before my Gamma walked in.
We sat down and discussed strategies for expanding trade routes and new alliances. The kingdoms of Tirado and Cassius were a pain in the ass. I couldn't figure out why other than the fact that they hated the thought of my bloodline ruling over all the lands. Even though that was the case, I still required their Alpha's cooperation. I tried keeping my focus on business, but pleasure reared its domineering head yet again. McKenna was a walking tease, and she didn't even know it.
"I'm headed out with the scouts. I'll tell your mate you said hello and you're in good hands," Vincent said with sarcasm.
I ignored his obvious jealously of my position often.
Queen Antionette's POV
"Like this, dear," my mother-in-law, Darcy, corrected me. "Does it matter what side the Duke of Ellington sits?" I asked, dumbfounded by her ways. "Of course it does! It is common knowledge that he hates the Duke and Duchess of Norfolk. It would surely be a disaster if you sat them close to one another. Don't you know anything?" She snapped. "I know a lot! This is a dinner of generosity and celebration. We should not concern ourselves with measly table arrangements and seating charts. I'm more interested in the guest list and enough food and Ale for our guests to enjoy. If you get them drunk enough, they will all be friends," I scoffed. "Darcy, she doesn't mean that. Antionette, you are THE Luna Queen to a smaller kingdom than ours. You've come here for my help which is what I intend to do. As the Luna, we are responsible for every detail, no matter how small. Knowing your guest's acquaintances is just as important as you do not want to start a war," my sister-in-law, Esmerelda, said, rearranging the table markings.
I admit her technique was flawless. She had the advantage. Darcy taught her the ways of a Queen since she was merely a child. My mother taught me many things, and one of them was speaking my mind.
"Thanks. I will get the hang of it," I muttered. "It's okay because I know you will. Our kingdom rules over 13 other packs, while yours only manages 5 to 7. I assume you haven't had a function quite this size in your land as of yet, but the day just may come sooner than you think," she winked.
I wanted nothing but to travel home. Every time I visited, I was only expected to close my mouth and not have an opinion. That was not me, but I would need to earn their trust to continue having their backing if one of the other kingdoms of the Atlantic Rim we governed decided to overthrow us. Lincoln's brother presided over the Pacific Rim, which held more colonies and kingdoms than our own.
"You know there was talk about our older brother taking over the Atlantic Rim kingdoms. So, you better behave, Antionette," Beta Vincent whispered. "What are you still doing here? I thought you left to send word to Lincoln," I said, annoyed. "I'm leaving now. I was wondering if I could get a proper goodbye," he chuckled. "Fuck off! I hate you," I scoffed before walking away.
Vincent knew I wouldn't say I liked it here. I was always under constant observation by my in-laws. I endured this torture for my mate, Alpha King, Lincoln. In the meantime, I could not help that my mind often drifted to his proposal that involved Mckenna. I admit his request made me uncomfortable, but all I could fathom to say is "as you wish." How on earth would I keep Beta Vincent from sniffing around the she-wolf, Mckenna?
"Hey! Hang in there. I'm sure Lincoln appreciates what you're here doing. Since you've been gone, great progress has been made with the ships. He listened to your suggestions, and all plans are a go thus far, all thanks to you. Keep your head up, little dove," Vincent said, tilting my chin to meet his eye. "Yeah, tell my mate this would be easy if Darcy and Esmerelda weren't breathing down my neck, reminding me that I would never be in their stiff circle," I pouted. "You are so much better than them! The fact that you do not allow anyone to push you over is a living testament to that. Maybe work on your delivery," he chuckled. "Yeah, yeah. Move out of my way. Tell my mate I love and miss him, would you?" I asked. "I surely will not. We both know why I won't," he said, rolling his eyes.
Beta Vincent was a certified dick for sure, but I knew I could always count on him to have my back against his mother, Darcy, and his sister-in-law Esmerelda.
"You should be careful with that one. I see how he looks at you," Esmerelda came up behind me and said. "Vince? Ugh!" I scoffed. "Antionette, I'm serious. Vincent is sweet and cunning, but he will stop at nothing until he has what he wants. I've witnessed it," she warned. "It sounds like you have first-hand knowledge," I accused, and her face went pale. "Forget it, Anti. It bothers me when you don't listen. Don't come running to me when he breaks up your happy home and his head lands on a stake," Esmerelda angrily said. "Essie, what are you not saying?" I asked. "Never mind what I said. Just forget I said anything," she dismissively said. "Essie, I will be careful. Thank you," I replied. "That's all I ask of you," she sadly smiled. "Hey! If you ever need someone other than Darcy to speak with, I'm pretty good at keeping secrets," I winked before walking away from her.
McKenna's POV Two weeks later... I woke from my slumber to find a yellow daffodil planted on the pillow beside me. Instead of panicking, I called out to my wolf, Halo. My heart was thrumming in my chest though. "Halo, can you catch a scent?" I asked. sudden;y paramoid "The floral scent from the flower covers it pretty well, but there is a faintly familiar smell I am picking up on," she huffed. "Okay, let me get dressed for the day," I nervously said desperately scanning the tiny room only to find no one else here but me. The thought of someone coming into my room unannounced and undetected was eerily terrifying. I didn't have time to focus on who arrived in the night as I was due outside of the King's chambers first thing. If I had even the slightest of missteps I’m sure the news would travel to Queen Antionette’s ears before nightfall. "McKenna!" the King called out from his chambers. "Yes, my lord?" I asked, rushing in. "Have you seen my worthless fill-in squire? Ever since you
McKenna's POV "Luna Queen," I bowed as she entered, confused by what I had just seen. "Cut the crap! I know you disobeyed me and went to see your family. What have they told you?" She angrily asked. "My family told me nothing other than they thought they would never see me again. I'm not sure why they would think that. It broke my heart," I answered honestly. "It should have! You deliberately disobeyed me. There are punishments for those such as yourself, but I will take it easy. Three days in the dungeons with limited food and water should teach you a lesson. Please do not mistake our friendship for being above your station. I must be fair to all," she said as guards came in and started pulling me away. "PLEASE, your majesty! The king ordered me to go. I could never say no to the king. What else was I supposed to do? I could not tell him no!" I cried. "We will discuss this in three days," she said, watching me be dragged away from sight. I had never seen the inside of the dungeons,
Two months later... Queen Antionette's POV "I haven't seen much of your favorite omega around here lately," Beta Vincent chuckled. "You are quite annoying. Why do I put up with you?" I scoffed. "We both know why," he laughed before leaving my study. I swear if Vincent didn't know my secrets, I would have probably had him hung long ago. "What's on that brilliant mind of yours?" Lincoln asked. "Nothing of concern. How was your day, mate?" I asked, leaning in for a kiss. "The Viscount and the Marquess are bumping heads over land titles, AGAIN. Why can't they just let their wolves fight it out?" he sighed, falling backwards on the bed. "Is there anything I can do as your Queen?" I asked, mounting him. "You could attend the Gala in my absence. I swear you have a tongue that convinces even the dead," he replied, rolling me onto my back. "I will attend. Will the Gamma or Beta accompany me to the Kingdom of Santak?" I asked. "Both," he answered, placing his lips on mine. Diplomatic missio
McKenna's POV Four days later... "McKenna!" one of the handmaidens I didn't recognize called out. "The Queen sends for you," she added. I did not give a response. I hung my apron and washed my hands before following this stranger. The Queen had not sent for me in months. Why now? After a short walk through the castle, I was face to face with the enemy, my once best friend. "McKenna, it feels like it's been an eternity. You look like hard work has found you," she chuckled, taken in my worn appearance. "How can I be of service to you, your grace?" I asked, ignoring her egregious comment. "Hungry?" I asked, suddenly remembering I should bake a fresh batch of blueberry danishes before the king returns. "I need you to deliver the King's dinner in three days. He will be in late, and I am certain the rest of the staff will be gone," she said, pouring herself some tea. "Olga will get upset at me. It is usually her that runs those orders," I explained. "Well, I am demoting her and promoting
Queen Antoinette's POV "Judging by the way Mckenna is walking today, I would say job well done," I chuckled at breakfast sitting across from Beta Vincent. "She is a whore then. I never made it to that room. I was drunk off my ass," he angrily replied. "You're lying! The guards said they heard her cries all through the night. They were none she could pretend," I protested. "Someone else was there with her, but it was not me," he said adamantly. I just stood to my feet and threw hot tea in his lap. His tongue has been quite disobedient lately. The thought of Mckenna having a secret lover that I knew nothing about secretly bothered me. She was not only trash, but she was also a liar! "AHHH! My Queen?" He angrily questioned. "You better fucking figure it out, Beta," I said, storming away across the courtyard. I was going to find the little liar and strip her of that innocent faced she placades. "Going somewhere?" my mate, King-Lincoln, asked. "Yes, I am looking for McKenna," I replied
McKenna's POV The king continued to avoid me after I shamefully rode him for my freedom. He promised to set me free. Instead, the king left for a trip leaving me at the hands of his Queen. I made it a point to avoid her, but again she threw herself in my path. I had not had a long conversation with her since the night she threatened to kill my family and didn’t plan on it. "McKenna, you've been distant. Is everything okay?" Queen Antoinette asked, pretending to sound concerned. "I am doing well, Luna. What brings you to the kitchen?" I asked. "I am just making my rounds. My little ones are not letting me sleep very well," she complained. "Maybe some warm milk would surely settle them from what I have heard," I replied. "Twins," she said. "Huh?" I asked, confused. "I am having twins. When I told my handmaidens, they were over the moon. I am finally making my mother-in-law proud. Can you believe it?" She asked, sitting down on a nearby stool. "Has Lady Darcy departed? I owe her a tray
McKenna’s POV Mckenna?" Swan called out, opening the door to my room. "Swan? What are you doing on this side of the palace? They will have you hung!" I said, panicking for my friend. "Calm down. I had to deliver some tea to the King's study. I wanted to check on you. I know you heard their argument last night, as did I," she said, brushing my tear-stained hair from my forehead. "You must think I am a whore too. I swear it was not my plan. The Queen..." I tried explaining, but Swan shushed me. "It is okay, Kenna. I do not think that of you at all. I know the Queen set you up just as she did with the other handmaiden that suddenly disappeared. She is an evil she-wolf," Swan said, rubbing my back. "Why did you volunteer to come here if you knew this of her?" I asked. She abruptly stops rubbing my back. I could tell she was at odds with her wolf because she seemed conflicted. I sat up from her lap and just stared at her. "She's hiding something," Halo said in my thoughts. "I can see tha
Queen Antionette's POV "Vincent, we will surely be caught if you continue to wear your heart on your sleeve," I said, ripping away from his hold. "Antionette, why must we continue to hide our feelings?" He asked. "Lincoln is the king and your brother. We will be hung for treason if we are found out," I reasoned. "I want to be a father to my pups," he growled. "You can, if they were yours! We have to slow things down," I reminded him. "It's been two years, Anti! My feelings for you have grown beyond my control. We both know those pups are mine," he pleaded. "That is a personal problem! You lie with omegas and anything else that moves. That is not love, Vincent! I cannot do this right now, especially with the mother-in-law from hell right down the hall. Put your clothes back on and get the fuck out of my presence. NOW!" I growled. He scrambled for his clothes until every piece was well put together. "You will regret this," he turned and said before leaving my quarters. If he dared to
Octavia's POVThe hours ticked by but mentally I was absent from the present. I missed Jubilee. He was my father, a best friend, and a teacher. If he were here he would tell me to get my shut together. But he’s not….I sighed before heading to check on Violet. "Are you going to be okay?" I asked Violet. "I cannot believe Killian hurt you in plain sight. What do you think triggered his anger this time?" I asked exasperated. "I know Killian attacked me because he was pissed to see me with Oscar again, but I think it had to happen. I no longer have to carry Lex's pup. I know I shouldn't be happy for such things, but I was going to end my life once the pup was born," she confessed. "What?!" I asked in shock. "Yeah. I was going to walk off of the cliff or drink too much and drown myself. There were endless possibilities and I thought of them all," she shrugged. "Well, I'm glad you're okay," I said rubbing her forehead. “Me too, thanks to my little sister, Vidalia," she smiled. "Yeah, I'm
Alpha King Vincent's POV "It's been a long time," I heard a familiar voice say. It was the voice of someone I would kill before the night was over. "Elena! You bitch! How dare you show your face around here! Where's my pup?” I growled catching her by the throat. "D-Death is imminent. You reek of it," she croaked. "Is that a threat?" I asked nearly crushing her wind pipe just as I heard the ripping of flesh behind me. I tossed Elena to the ground. I placed my foot on her neck so that her face stayed buried in the dirt. "NO! There’s no fucking way!" I shouted over the thunderous cries of Lex's mother and a disappointed growl from his father. How is this possible? There's no way her wolf should have been able to defeat Lex's. Black magic! That's the only reason this would happen. That's it. She’s a WITCH! "Somebody has killed our warriors in the dining hall!" I heard Lawrence growl just as I heard screams erupt in front of me from Violet who looked to have been injured. "KILL THEM
Octavia's POV"When does your father return?" I asked Essex. "I heard word was sent a few days ago where I'm sure he's been held up with one of his whores," he replied rolling his eyes. "And your mother is just okay with that?" I asked annoyed. "I think she tries not to think about it. Regardless of what you may think of my mother, she has always done her best to raise us alone while my father fought in wars, chased whores, and beat her. She's not perfect, but I will protect her until my last breath," he sighed. "As I expect you to. How did you turn out to be...YOU? Lex is a manipulative little cunt, but you seem more honest. Why did you give up your claim to the Kingdom of Tirado?" I asked. "My father convinced me to do so. The Kingdom of Cassius would be a good move for the kingdom of Tirado. If only I had known Rose’s father never intended for me to take over. Apparently, I wasn't good enough to follow him or my father. I trained harder, ran faster, and became smarter than them bot
Taysia's POV "You're going and that's final!" My father shouted at me. "Father, I cannot go back to Tirado. Alpha Lex hurt me!" I cried. "You set yourself up for what we he did! Are you upset that he chose the bastard over you?" My father growled. "NO! I swear it doesn't matter! Duke Sayid is my mate!" I protested. "Then what is the matter with you?" He snapped. "Father, do not make her go back. He is a maniac! Tell him what he really did to you!" Rose interjected. "Well?" My father asked and I shook my head in shame. My father stormed out enraged, but not before mandating that both me and Rose be there for the challenge. "You should have told father that Alpha Lex shoved the same disgusting pole he beats his horses with in your lady River! What are you afraid of? Shame? Embarrassment? He should be the one feeling those things! Not you!" Rose said furiously. "I know! Okay! I cannot face him. My mate is off on a mission so I cannot confide in him. In his letter, he says what he wen
Adelina' POV"When are you going to tell him?" Romeo asked. "Not now, Romeo! You're stressing me out!" I shouted. "Talk to me! Is this about your parents?" he asked. "Can you both stop yelling? I'm trying to focus on my painting," Romeo's sister, Vidalia interrupted.Vidalia and I had been friends since we were pups. Lately, she's been a shell of herself. All she does is paint, train, and pottery ever since she split off from her parents."No! I mean, yes! Romeo, I want to be with Oliver. Please! Why can't you understand?" I asked frustrated. "Addie, I love you. Why can't you see that?" he asked. "I know," I grunted pushing past him. "If I may," Vidalia spoke up again. "What's stopping you from accepting Romeo as your mate? You're carrying his pup and your actual mate, Lawrence is running for his life. Not to mention, your true mate, Oliver if I understand it well, has accepted your rejection. I'm certain he knows that you're not carrying his pup by now," Vidalia explained. She paused
Alpha King Lincoln's POV "Did you work him up?" I asked Violet. "Of course I did. I found the Tirado Crest as requested. It was right where his mother said it would be. Why do you all need it?" She quizzed. "It used to belong to Alpha Queen Lenora. I cannot believe it is in such good condition," I smiled. "Octavia should wear it for the challenge," she interrupted. "Precisely," I agreed. I'm sure Octavia would welcome this gift. Once Lex lays his eyes on it, I only hope it would be a reminder that he should not lead any pack. My thoughts momentarily stopped as Oliver and Jamela barged into my quarters. "My apologies, your grace, but this is urgent! Tell him what you told me," Oliver ordered Jamela. "O-okay. Klaus has been over run with Vincent's warriors!" she blurted. "THEY DID WHAT?" I roared slamming a nearby table to the ground. "UNFUCKING BELIEVABLE!" I growled sounding the alarm. Within a matter of seconds, Beta Felius came running into my chambers followed by Gamma Julius.
Alpha Lex's POVOn my way to my study, I nearly toppled over the she-wolf, Jamela. She scowled as I smirked at her trembling stature. I for one couldn't wait to see Alpha Santak. He would easily kill her with his bare hands. Too bad he's a part of Vincent's plan to take Klaus. I was happy when he whisked the Duke away too. If I'm lucky, he will die in the inevitable war. A look of disgust crept to my face the moment I spotted Octavia's parents, but I couldn't resist engaging."I see you two are wishing your sweet daughter luck. It's a good thing too because she's going to need it," I chuckled, but Alpha King Lincoln had me pinned to the wall in mere seconds. "How dare you address me as if I'm your equal, pup! You may roll around with scum like Vincent, but you must know he was never born to be an Alpha even if he shares the blood line. A true Alpha doesn't hold the red colored eyes like a rogue!" He growled cutting off my circulation. When he released his forearm from my throat I fel
Jamela's POV "Are you ever going to return?" Elena asked over supper. "Eventually, I have to face him," I sighed. "You didn't kill Lily! Stop letting your father, Alpha Santak get into your head," Elena snapped. "He has everyone searching for me like a maniac, but I'm not giving in that easily. I just need proof that I didn't do it," I explained. "Well, Oliver will understand. He could even help. I'm certain that he would," she reasoned. "His hands are much too full," I said dismissively. "Very well, stubborn little she-wolf. I hope you don't eat your words one day," she said clearing the table. I'm not sure why I returned to Foxchase. It could be that I knew Octavia would always know where I was or at least assumed. Maybe Oliver would come and save me from my terrible reality. Elena helped settle me in, especially after I updated her with the awful truth of the kingdoms going to shit. I wasn't sleeping, such as a night like tonight without having horrendous nightmares. Elena final
Violet's POVKillian had yet to sense me near. I was carrying a pup for Tavi's now husband and I felt disgusted. I had no desire to set eyes on Oscar. He would be disgusted with me as I was with myself, but I needed to face the monster he had become."I'll escort you down," Oliver said grabbing my hand. "Me too," Quinn joined grabbing my other hand. "Did you manage to rescue my pups? Killian is here. He would never suspect," I said frantically. "Calm yourself, please. Aiken, Tilly, and a few others have already departed. It shouldn't be long now," Oliver responded. "Thank you," I whispered. "There's no need to thank us. You are not well. We must get you the help you require. Staying held up in that small space isn't exactly helping. You should be here with family. Alpha King Lincoln has pushed for your removal of you as the kingdom of Koda's Luna and freed from your marriage for your mental state. It was easy to convince the elders seeing as Killian's mother admitted that she would fo
