Ch 5 CUT IT AT THE ROOTS

" Where is this 2 days report ?" After finishing VVIP PATIENT. He starts to work his daily routine inspection work. 

But today his whole senior staff is in big fright. They all knew when he read the report his anger vent on them . if the actual person will not lost its jib then Vikash mentally torture them all badly.

He raised his head and saw those 20 people who were departmental heads of 20 departments of his hospital .. All doctors one by one submitted their work report except two. 

One is from the emergency section's head doctor and the other one is the diagnosis department head. 

They both were shivering by fear when their turn came.  But it's their duty if they did something wrong or fail but they have to submit their report. 

Vikash took the emergency department 's file and just about opened it he stopped by the voice " Sir , we had an emergency yesterday early morning. Patient 's medical history is new for us but.. ah.. Due to excess bleeding and multiple fracture so.. so.. he couldn't  survive. "

 Vikash saw the person with a cold gaze. HE scored his expression and confirmed that he failed to handle the situation after the death . But still he gave time to him to finish what excuse he wanted to show.

" After… After 3hours treatment the patient lost his life.  Police also there and his family also.. as per our ho...hospital policy.. I sent a body to the postmortem and asked the family … and asked the family for organ donation...but they denied.."

Finally Vikash spoke.. " THEN ? " But a single word with a cold gaze and cold voice. His hands which holding the file still shuffling the paper in it. 

The emergency department ' s head gulped his position. He choked on his words.. "Sir.  Believe me..I ..I tried my best to convince them..you can ask my subordinate and assistance but the family was too stubborn.  They were… sir please. . "

" SUSPENDED FOR 2 WEEKS.. "

 Vikash just threw these few words and slammed the file on the table. The emergency department 's head doctor is very well aware that it's not a 2 week suspension but also there is no salary for 1month and when he will join again he has already lost his face in front of his staff. 

People think that working with Miracle Hospital is pride for every doctor , nurse or serving staff but only those people knew who work with this hospital that it's not pride but it's HELL. . No more than the HELL .

No doubt the surviving ratio is more than the lost life ratio . In comparison to countries other famous hospitals Miracle is the best choice for every capitalist and politicians . NOT JUST BECAUSE THEY GIVE BEST FACILITIES BUT ALSO THEY WON THOSE CASES ON WHICH MOST OF HOSPITALS ALMOST GIVEN UP.. 

In the DR.Vikash team , he Actully  has best and efficient doctors and nurses.  Who knows how to deal in the worst condition.

But every coin has two sides . Just like that with so much great victory and pride this hospital has one loop or can say it's the worst policy for those who lost their lives in this hospital .

The team of  DR.Vikash ,  efficiently trained to make  trape dead person 's family that they by hook or by crook convinced them to donate every organ of their beloved family members who died in that hospital. 

They play so many emotional words and scheming cards for organs donation. And if the family is convinced to donate a few organs then they also try to convince them to donate skin too.

If any patient organs can't be used like kidneys damaged by some of the reasons then still they remove it and send it to a medical college for different kinds of experiments.

Same thing for a full body to whom no one is there to claim they sell it to government medical colleges. For students to study.

In his point of view he is helping those who need organs and skin . But it's worse for those whose beloved lost their lives. 

After finishing the emergency department matter his eyes fell on the diagnosis department's head. He was already sweating by showing the Emergency department ' s head condition. 

" Sir. .my. . My report is not finished yet.. I will submit it in the evening. " He tried to avoid this conversation and also did not want to humiliate in front of his colleagues  . But how is this possible?

" ok..  we all  will inspect your department personally. Let's go. " With that he stood up from his rolling chair.

All the doctors also stood up with him to visit the diagnosis department. 

The doctor became more nervous and frightened. If they all visit his department then Dr Vikash will humiliate him in front of his whole staff and the whole hospital will get a hot gossip point for a month . Then no one will respect him.

" Sir.. sir. .please. . " 

"Look Dr. Chhellla. If you can't handle your department then better to resign. No need for your kind of lazy and unenthusiastic person in my hospital.  I don't want to ruin my hospital name just bcoz of your unprofessional attitude.  "

" Sir. .I tr...try my best.. but that patient. . Her body… she can't bear the pain. And the situation. . Sir it's impossible to save her. I already talked to her parents for heart and eye transplant.  But after that they want to change the hospital. "

Hearing this Vikash frowned and stupefied.  He also scared a little " they change or still in word. "

" to..tomorrow they will. Sir. You can personally check her reports; it's a totally failed case. She will not …"

"Just shut up.. She is still alive and she is not on a ventilator. How can you ask her parents for organ donation? IT IS NOT OUR POLICY. .. WE ARE NOT DOING  BUSINESS ON LIVE PATIENT. OUR ORGANS TRANSPLANT BUSINESS BASED ON DEAD BODIES. "

With that he snatched the patient file from Dr. Chellla 's hand . He read a few lines and glared at Dr. Chella  " WHAT IF THEY LEAVE THIS HOSPITAL AND FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR. AND THAT DOCTOR'S LUCK WORKS AND PATIENT SURVIVE .. JUST IMAGINE THE CONSEQUENCES .." 

 Then he  ran to diagnose the department 's patients resting room to settle this misunderstanding.  

After long discussion Finally he got success and the patient 's family convinced not to shift hospital and continue treatment there.

But it's not good news for Dr.Chella. In the end of the day he actually lost his job and he knew what would happen to him next.

Vikash will try his best that he will not get permission to practice in any big midium or small hospital . And even he can't be taken by any medical college for professor post or freelancer lecturer. Dr.Vikash will also send his misbehavior and wrong decision report to the medical alliance who issue medical practicing licence to the doctors , for terminating his medical practicing licence.

Dr. Vikash is very well aware of this kind of situation. If he will show any mercy then this kind of person spouts all secrets of his hospital to the outside world and then it affects his reputation and also ruins hospital prestige too.

So its his rule cut at the roots.. Then that person never tried to stand up nor dare to raise his voice in front of him.
