Ch. 10 Her father's last advice.

After 5 days Sandhya and Aska both flew for New Zealand. She was very excited and happy. Excited for her 1st journey out of India and also her first time sitting on a plane. And happy because it was her hard work and love on which Vikash trusted and sent Aska with her.

After almost a 17 hours journey, the flight finally landed at Auckland airport. After finishing all formalities Sandhya and Aska came out from the Airport where her father was already waiting for her.

After her marriage, she never met them. Tears of happiness clearly could see in her eyes. 

" Are you ok my child? How's your journey?  Did you scare when the flight took off or landed.. ? Why are you not answering my questions?  Why are you crying? " Seeing her and Aska together he was happy before because it showed that Nair's family entrusted his daughter that they allowed Aska too with her. 

But now.. after meeting Sandhya constantly crying and also not releasing her hug to her father. She is not even answering any questions. This behaviour gave frightened her father.

After a while, Aska who was sleeping in her arms woke up to her mother's constant sobbing voice. She also started crying like her mother. 

Now Situation became chaotic. Sandhya's papa became more and more anxious and annoyed. He thought this mother-daughter liked playing competition for crying.  

He snorted at Sandhya with a little high volume "Sannu. . Just stop .. what happened .. ? I am scared and confused.  I couldn't find out what's going on here and in her life. Why are you crying.. ? Don't scare me more . ."

Then Sandhya releases her grip on her arms from her father's waist and raises her head to see her father.  She found he was also about to cry. He was shivering from wild thoughts. She quickly wiped out her tears and gave him a gentle smile.

" No. Papa. After a long time, I saw you. I was so happy and excited. I could not control.. and ..cry. " She exclaimed and saw her little doll who was crying and tried to cup up to her face, that Sandhya also could see her. 

" little doll.. why are you crying? Are you hungry?"

" No. . Mamma.. no cry. " She answered in her broken language.  And rubbed her forehead to Sandhya's neck.

" Ok..then let's go home." Her father took their luggage and hired a taxi for their rented house.

Time flies…

Sandhya and Aska lived there happily. Her brother had some health problems after Operation but the doctor explained that they were the pros and cons of heart surgery. After a few months, he could walk and run easily. And Vikash also said the same so there was no space for questioning. 

After taking dinner they all rested in the living room hall. Sandhya's mother took a final look at her packed luggage.

Aska was busy playing with her uncle. And Sandhya's parents were anxious to also ask her some questions. 

They both exchanged glances and clear their throats to talk with Sandhya. 

" Sannu. .you.  Are you happy. .? He loves you right?" Her mother asked her with a low and curious voice. 

" Mummy. . I know... you both worried but what I did was past now. And I and Vikash are now a happy couple. " With that, she laid her head on her mother's lap. Then she continued " he loves me a lot.. even he personally introduced me to the Chief Minister and all VVIP guests. It's enough for me. " 

Her mother father felt some relaxation in their hearts by her words. But still, they couldn't omit the fact that he actually took signatures on legal papers that his marriage with Sandhya is just a contract marriage. Sandhya never hid anything from her parents. And what Vikash told her about his birth and hospital ownership, she also shared with her parents.

Those all things made them more worried for Sandhya's future. But they found that She looked after her daughter very well, Vikash and her relationship also stable and improved and her new family also entrusted her. So they tried to avoid other circumstances and past matters.

The best thing was that Vikash fell for her. He even bought a house for her. Sandhya praised that house so much. She also said after retirement they both will shift there. It was the best thing.  If a person planned his retirement with his wife then he is serious about the relationship. 

They were talking and suddenly the landline phone rang. Her father picked up the phone and answered. After a few words of exchange with the calling person, he handed over the phone to Sandhya.

" Who?" She asked with confusion. 

Her father just gestured to talk and left the place immediately. 

" Hello.."

" My little beauty. I am so angry. You forget your husband. ." 

Before answering she already imagined his facial expressions and chuckled "Don't pout. If your staff found your nature's this side no one will scare from you. "

"... " After hearing this he was at a loss for words. 

" I am busy. . And you also make yourself busy..bye.. love you. " She quickly said these words and cut the phone.  

After hanging up the phone she was blushing badly. Her honey tone white face became red tomato colour. She thought in her mind  "just a few hours. . I will be there. IT'S a great surprise for you. My love. I am on the way.. "

At the airport. 

" Sannu. . We know they all love you and you also mixed with them. But still, don't forget about your limits. Don't blindly put trust in them. If you set your limits and situation is always in your control and also you can save yourself from future consequences ." Before departing from her family. Her father gave this last piece of advice to her.

The plane landed and that mother-daughter pair came out from Airport.  As Ashok told her that he personally came to pick them up, he was there. 

It was  3 am early in the morning, the whole city was silent. Few cars and taxis running on the road. 

Aska was still in her arms. She was used to sleeping in her mother's arms. For the last 3 years she was missing her mother's warmth, care and love, clearly seen in her behaviour. 

After 45 mins drive the car stopped in their house courtyard. 

" Sister-in-law. . You both go inside first. I will take the luggage by myself. " Ashok quickly exclaimed to her becoz he knew that day Vikash had an early morning Operation. And he was in his room and about to leave.

The past 10 days were stressful for him

 Sandhya and Aska were also not there with him so he must be happy after seeing both. 

Sandhya didn't know what happened in the house and also in the hospital, in her absence.  She just nodded and did what Ashok said.

She just entered the hall and stood up. Her eyes fell on Vikash, who had just come from upstairs.  

Vikash also saw them but he shook his head. He thought he might be dreaming.. as per his knowledge Sannu and Aska will come after 5 days.  So how they both could be there that time.

So he avoided what he saw. Sandhya was stupefied by his action. Seeing him in ready attire was not new for her. He might have gone to the hospital this time but hey he avoided them like air.

She was too angry and annoyed by his action. She was in her mind and Vikash was also busy filling water in a glass for himself. They are dazed broken by Ashok's voice.

"SISTER-IN-LAW. . WHY YOU STAND HER LIKE STATUE.."

Hearing this Vikash's eyes widened open and he hurriedly turned his face to see them. Caring Aska in her arms, Sandhya was seen standing near the hall sofa. He scored her expression quickly and found she was angry and her eyes were red. Redness of her eyes not because of her travelling and lack of sleep but anger.

He gulped his saliva and ran to them. Don't know what to say, how to coax her so he first took his little sleeping beauty from Sannu ' s hand and carried her in his arms, with that he placed a kiss on her temple.

Then he moved his one free hand to Sannu and dragged her to his side and directly claimed her soft and rosy lips. He kissed her like a crazy man. 10 days passed, he didn't test her. 

Meanwhile, Ashok was shocked by his action. He wanted to do blood vomiting. . His brother truly became shameless.  He forgot about his existence in the hall. 

Gasping for attention, he coughed hard two times but Vikash, he was not ready to leave that beauty which he was holding in his arms.
