She had been avoiding Jake for a week and succeeded but not without sacrifices.
She hadn't been able to ask him to take her back to her apartment so she could get some things she needed and sometimes she even went without food because she was scared he would show up while she was eating.
During those times she always found food in her room whenever she wasn't there and she suspected Jake had left it there, so she had taken the opportunity to be scarce from her room when she was hungry.
She had always stayed cooped up in her room whenever he was around and wandered the house when he left, using the opportunity to search his room and study for clues of his plan. She had asked the master the reason they needed evidence that Jake was after them when it was so clear but he refused to tell her anything so she continued her search.
