Chapter 134

Alexander’s Pov

The rays of sunlight seeped into my bedroom, causing me to groan, lighting and sit up. I barely slept all through the night.

The words of One kept ringing in my ears, and I could swear that I haven’t been this disturbed in a long time. My company was very close to my heart, and I was willing to do to any extent, just to ensure that it was protected.

After One had called to tell me that she had sensitive information about a supposed threat in my company, I totally felt weak.

At first I wondered how she had gotten my number and so, I wasn’t so convinced.

“How did you get my number?” I had asked with a suspicion tone, still trying to decipher how possible it was that she had my number and was calling me some days after she left.

She stuttered for some seconds, but regained her stance almost immediately.

“I’m sorry I’m saying this now…but I once snuck into your room and went through your things. I found your number somewhere, and I took it down”, she said with a low voi
