Alexander’s Pov

When she told me that she had something to say to me, I had thought that it was relating to the fact that she was carrying my child. My heart has raced with excitement because I was beginning to think that she would suggest starting a family with me.

That was why I smiled at her calmly, while gesturing for her to proceed with what she had to say.

And then she said that she was pregnant for another man…

That particular statement sounded like a bomb in my ears and for seconds, I tried to shove it aside as mere hallucinations.

But then, she was there, looking into my eyes, with sincerity burning through them.

“What? How?” I asked in shock, as thoughts of her being with another man caused my heart to tear up in flames.

How was it possible that she was carrying another man’s child in my house?

“I’m sorry. I know I broke the rules, but you should be glad that the child is not yours”, she dropped and for a minute, I thought that I had heard wrongly.

I gulped down hard and wip
