Bianki screamed, "Alpha?" as she went to meet Colt and Lilith as they returned to their area.

Colt was carrying Lilith in his arms while she was still sleeping. His packs were then assembled at the gate's entrance, waiting for them to arrive. Carla, Tio, and Drake were also present, and they were all concerned because they had previously heard about Colt's scenario when they were in the city.

"Is she okay?" Carla inquired as she approached Lilith.

"She's OK; she was just tired from our trip," Colt said as he walked towards their house.

And everyone was still following them, making no noise so as not to disturb Lilith asleep. They were likewise following their Alpha since they were waiting for his command. Because everyone knew something horrible was about to happen after Colt faced one of their opponents, they had to congregate early and start doing what they had planned.

As soon as they reached in front of their house, Colt said, "Wait everyone here. Tio, follow me."

There is a lot of repetition of these types of scenes throughout half the book. It isn’t developing characters or plot. It is just repetitive and unnecessary. Half the book could be skipped.
