The sky was painted in shades of gray as the sun struggled to break through the dense clouds. A foreboding silence hung over the packs’ territory, the air thick with tension. It was the calm before the storm, a quiet that carried the weight of impending danger. Hana stood on a ridge overlooking the valley, her keen eyes scanning the distant horizon.

Something was coming. She could feel it deep in her bones, a sense of dread that she hadn’t been able to shake since dawn. Behind her, the pack was a flurry of activity. Warriors moved with purpose, their faces set in grim determination as they prepared for the inevitable clash.

Hana could hear the low hum of conversation, the clatter of weapons being checked and rechecked, the soft murmurs of farewells exchanged between loved ones.
