Chapter Ninety-Eight

So this was why I felt the surge of my missing powers returned to me. Mum is awake and she has given us all back our missing powers. I didn't waste time hugging her. I missed her so much. I pretended that I did not miss her and never visited her when she was in seclusion. I didn't visit her because I know that it will be harder for me.

She hugged me back tightly, after we disengaged from the hug, she kissed my forehead. “I miss you honey.” She muttered and kissed my forehead once again.

“I miss you too mum. I'm really glad you are awake.”

“If you really miss me sweetheart, you wouldn't have ruined our plans,” she said gently.

“Skyla told you everything already.”

“Why did you do it, Eleonora. I thought you would have understood the reason we are doing all these. We want the werewolves to pay for what they did to us. Why are you ruining it all.” She tried to keep her voice low. I can see how she's trying to suppress her anger. She's definitely angry at me.
