"So ma'am you tried to poison his wine, why!"

"I wasn't going to poison him only, we were supposed to die together" the loud voice came from a young lady dressed in a body hugging dress but looked haggard now due to her hands being in handcuffs and her long brunette hair scattered in multiple directions, she had a crazy look in her eyes as she squirmed under the hold of the policeman holding her.

Sargent Clara nodded her head as if in understanding, "And why were you both supposed to die together?"

"Since he won't love me, I won't let him love anyone else, we have to be together even if it means in death..." she turned to face the direction of a young man being tended to by paramedics, "...baby! If only you had taken the wine we would be together in hell!" She cackled madly.

Sargent grant turned away from her as they took her away. "Grant"

"Yes ma'am"

"Go see how the man in question is doing, he is the victim so be careful as you ask him questions" she told her while looking through her notes in her notebook and also, try not to fall in love, I hear he is a big CEO hotshot whom all the ladies have been raging about."

"Yes ma'am". she trudged carefully amidst broken glasses and spilled food, he just had to bring a crazy woman to such a high class restaurant.

"Hi, I'm officer Grant and I would like to ask you some questions if you are up to that" she addressed him calmly, his back was facing her so she hadn't seen his face yet. He turned as she pulled her notebook and didn't notice the man's eyes open wide with shock.

"Okay, so what's your name si..."

"Sudan Grant!"

She looked up in surprise.

"You!" She stared at the man with shock also reflected on her face. "What are you doing here?"she blurted out.

"...Um getting almost murdered" he answered deadpan.

She glared at him and closed her notebook. "Clearly I meant here, the last time I heard about you, you were supposed to be in France...forever".

He frowned at her, "Not the welcome I was expecting but anyway, yes I was in France, Paris to be exact but I'm back now" his voice was husky and a bit breezy, his hair was still long and was being romanced by the wind, she couldn't believe he was looking more handsome than three years ago, how was it possible. She clenched her fists in anger towards her reaction to him.

"But who would have thought..." he continued as he stood up to face her, his height towering over her, "...that the day would come that I would see you again...A police officer. Susan Grant" he whispered her name as he ran his gaze up and down her uniformed body. She shuddered a little at his gaze but tried to hide it.

"Alright enough, I just want you to answer these questions and I will leave you alone."she spoke stifly as she opened her notebook again. Dominique stared at her quietly, a glint of amusement and intrigue shone in his eyes. The woman before him had bloomed into a more beautiful and alluring woman from three years ago. The memory of her rejecting him before he even spoke was still fresh in his head. She had captured his attention from that day, she who he hated and didn't care a dime about because her presence had meant that pesky giant of her father bothering him ever time to come see his daughter who loved him. She had suddenly become an interesting figure in his life even after all these years that he should have forgotten about her.

Finally, she closed her notebook and sighed a soft sigh of relief. "Thank you sir for cooperating with me, if you will excuse me, I'll take my leave." She turned to leave but he held her hand, she stiffened without turning.

"Sir, it is an offensive to hold an officer of the law against their will, so please let go"

He came closer still holding her, "I don't know what is more shocking, me meeting you again, you being a cop or the fact that you act indifferent towards me. Which is it?" He growled softly in her ears. Goosebumps grew all over her body and the husky growl of his voice, dammit. She still had this reaction to him, her hand swung lightly brushing something in her pocket. The ring. Suddenly, pain and disgust filled her, she withdrew her hand from his grasp quickly and turned to face him, anger reverberating through her.

"I'm warning you Mr Dominique Stark, you might have know Susan Grant but right now I'm Officer Susan Grant and I might still be a rookie cop but I can damn well put you in handcuffs and throw you in a cell behind bars. So don't push me." With that she walked off, her long ponytail swinging as she walked. He put his hands in his pocket and growled in annoyance, confusion clearly written on his face.

"Why does she bring this reaction out of me" he muttered as he tried to fight back a raging lust in his body. He wanted her.

**********************************

"Susie dear, how is it like being a cop even though you're still a rookie?" her dad asked as they sat at the dinning table having dinner with her grandpa, Kalia was still in school so she wasn't here with them.

Susan shrugged but smiled brightly, "its going great and I am so glad I decided to be a cop, there are struggles but I can overcome them."

"Good, as long as you are happy, thats what matters." Her grandpa told her with a smile.

"Thanks grandpa"

The doorbell rang and a staff went to open the door.

"Welcome sir"

"Thank you, I wish to see Susan"

"Sir, Miss Susan?"

Susan immediately froze with her fork halfway to her mouth then she dropped it and ran up to her room ignoring the calls of her father and her grandpa and slammed the door.

"Arrrrh!" She screamed into her pillow, "Why is he here again, why can't he leave me alone, that bastard. Isn't it enough that you killed me before, what more do you want.?" Since that day she met him on the clock, she has not had a moment of peace from him. He was always coming to see her even when she clearly avoided him and told the staffs to send him away. It was a good thing he hadn't dared to visit her in the station, that would have crossed the line. The door slammed open, quickly she dove under the blanket.

"Susan, come out"

Susan rolled and rolled in her bed feeling restless, and empty ache rang inside her. She was in need of a certain someone's hands around her, on her, his body ramming deep into her. She had tried satisfying herself but she was not skilled in that aspect so she didn't know what she was doing. She had sent him leaving after throwing that statement on him. He had left with his face filled with questions but too sad, she couldn't answer his questions. He had left but not without whispering something in her ear as he brushed her waist with his rough hands."I stay in the hotel just up ahead, in case you change your mind." The offer was blatant and plain and she was being a fool for not considering it. After all it was just sex, both of them needed something out of each other. Quickly she dressed in a pair of black sweats and left the house quietly. She didn't need her car, the hotel was just within a distance. By the time she was in front of his room her body was already pulsing with ant

She asked him carefully, her chest tight."Oh nothing, I came to see someone" he answered as he walked towards her, he had dressed casually today in black jeans and a white shirt with sneaker but his appeal was still as strong as ever. Now if you can, please tell me the way to the shooting center, I have to meet someone important there"She frowned her face not noticing that his eyes twinkle as he stared at her. Was this what he was looking for her for."Fine, the shooting center is down to your right, there is a large door there, open it and you're there"He smiled gratefully at her, "Thanks" then he walked off with swag in his footsteps."Who did he come to see that it was so important he had to come straight to the station?"
