At Seven Oaks, Kent
“Olivia, you mean the world to me, and I wonder what life would have been without you," Louis Bailey, her fiancée, said.
Olivia was thrilled to hear that. She dropped the television remote control and gave him a loving look.
Then, he smiled and continued, “Thank you for accepting to spend the weekend with me.”
Now, Olivia had succeeded in turning on the television and confirmed, “Louis, dear, you also mean so much to me. I would have loved to always be with you but for my parents…”
Louis cut in immediately and informed her, “I got it. It won't be easy for you to come. Especially now that you are out of school. Anyway, now that you are here, can we go into the bedroom?”
She stretched out her right hand to him, and he held it. He pulled her up before they walked to the into the lavishly furnished bedroom, which had the same touch of royalty like the parlor.
In the bedroom.
When they settled down in the hot tub, Louis watched the shy Olivia, who was in her nude, as though he was seeing her for the first time. Now, she was resting her head on the hot tub, he crawled to her and kissed her passionately.
(Kiss.)
“I'm happy you are here at last. I miss you so much, my love.”
“I missed you too," she responded without looking into his eyes.
Nevertheless, he took the task of massaging and giving her a warm bath. Subsequently, he began to take his bath while Olivia observed him, especially his manhood.
“Louis, you are very well-endowed," she said after some seconds of silence and he was surprised to hear that.
All the same, he was delighted. She was not good at sex talks and that was the first time she was making such a remark about him. He reasoned that the comment must have come from a deep thought. Louis stopped suddenly and observed her for some time. Her nipples were hard and he concluded that she was turned on already.
“Do you like it?” he asked her afterward.
She nodded in the affirmative and he resolved to encourage her.
“I'm happy you love it. You know it is all yours.”
She smiled shyly and looked away without saying a word. Louis rounded off quickly, got out of the hot tub, and carried her to the bedroom.
After he carefully laid her on the bed, he declared, “I will make tonight a memorable one for us.”
“I like that. I love you, Louis,” she declared.
“I love you too.”
Just as he promised, it was a memorable moment. It would have remained in her memory for a long time if Louis had considered her plea.
“Sweetie,” she called out.
“Yes, dear," he answered happily.
“I know you love me so much…”
“Of course, I do," he cut in and confirmed. Likewise, he pulled her closer and fondled her naked and petite body.
Then, she continued, “Since the last time I spent the weekend with you, I have not been myself.”
The bewildered Louis fixed his gaze on her and asked worriedly, “Why? What had been bothering you?”
“I had been feeling ill and my mother wanted to refer me to see our family doctor, but I stopped her.”
Louis was curious and inquired, “Why did you do that?”
Olivia sat up and rested her head on the headrest of the bed and explained, “I stopped her because I was scared. So, I decided to see another doctor on my own.”
“Huh! And what did your doctor say?”
Olivia looked at him anxiously before she declared, “Honey, I’m pregnant. I feel we should see my parents at once for the marriage processes before the pregnancy becomes obvious.”
Louis laughed softly and pulled her nose.
“Tell me you are joking,” he requested.
Olivia looked straight into his eyes and declared, “Louis, I'm not joking. The doctor's report said I'm pregnant.”
“What?” Louis screamed and got out of the bed.
He walked to the wall and leaned on it for a moment while she watched him in trepidation.
Afterward, he spoke up, “Olivia, how can you be so careless? Are you a kid? Do you mean that a graduate like you cannot take care of herself?”
Olivia was astounded to hear that and got out of bed, too. She walked up to him, placed her hand on his shoulder, and opined in a husky voice, “Honey, I thought you would receive the news with joy. You told me I’m the only woman in your life and besides, you have proposed to marry me. Why all these?”
Louis took a deep breath and calmed down. He cupped her face with his two hands, and admitted, “Yes, you are the only woman and I love you so much. It is just that I am not prepared for marriage now.”
Olivia furrowed her brow and asked him, “Why did you propose marriage to me when you are not prepared? You are doing well in business. You are twenty-four, and the only son of your parents. Now, I’m out of school. So, what is stopping us from getting married, as you proposed to me?”
At that point, Olivia was tearing up. Louis released her and gave her a stern look, not minding the tears dripping from her eyes.
Then, he blurted out, “I suggest you abort it, Olivia.”
Olivia, who was yet to recover from his excuses that held no water, flared up, “What! Abortion? Did you hear yourself, Louis? Can you think of such a thing?”
Louis ignored her, walked to the wardrobe, and dressed up. Then, he brought out a pack of cigarettes, pulled out a stick, and lit it up. Afterward, he held it between his index and middle fingers and began to smoke. Olivia, who was aware that he smoked only when he was angry, stood and watched him.
Then, he repeated himself, “Abort it, Olivia.”
Olivia was bewildered and exclaimed, “Ha, Louis! Is this coming from you? Don’t you know the risk involved? Besides, it is a crime against humanity? You don’t even know what the child will be in the future.”
(Note, this is the author's opinion in this context and not a general view.)
Now, Louis sat on the bed and smoked his cigarette nonchalantly. Olivia knelt beside him with tears rolling down her cheeks, and pleaded, “Please, Sweetheart, reconsider your stand. Consider our baby. What will my parents say about me if they find out?”
Louis took a quick puff on his cigarette and announced furiously, “Olivia, I'm still young. I'm not ready to marry now. This is my stand; abortion and the relationship continue or leave my house for good.”
He attempted to walk out of the room, but Olivia cried out and tried to stop him. He shoved her aside and walked out, leaving her to sob unrestrained. After some minutes of weeping, she dressed up and picked up her things. Then, she walked to the parlor and met him, watching the television unperturbed.
She looked at him, swallowed hard and announced, “Louis, I'm leaving.”
She thought that the information would make him change his mind, but he was resolute.
“Please yourself," he declared without looking away from the television.
She looked at the time and it was 10 PM before she looked at Louis again. From the look of things, he was not planning to give her a ride. Subsequently, she ordered a cab, left his house at Oak Avenue by herself.
In Olivia's Bedroom. She sobbed all through the ride to her house on Baden Powell Road. Then, the cab driver, a thirty-year-old man who felt for her, could not help but console her.“Young lady, I can feel your pains, but my advice is simple. Another door cannot open if one does not close. Cheer up.”“Thank you, for your concern, Driver," she appreciated him.“You are welcome.”She got to her house at 10: 25 PM and brought out her suitcase from the taxi before she walked to her apartment. Meanwhile, her parents, who were Missionaries, had been on foreign missions in Egypt, and that made her matter less tasking.“Olivia, you are back. We were not expecting you home tonight," one of her siblings said. “I see," she gave a perfunctory response before walking to her room. She sat down all alone, and began to talk to herself, “'What will mummy say about this? How do I face her? Father will certainly disown me. No one has ever done this in my family. I’m so ashamed of myself. Can Louis do
However, Denise was driving in her direction, and she mistook his car for an unpainted cab. Then, she attempted to wave and stop the vehicle, but it stopped on its own accord.“Hello, how are you?” Denise looked at a dejected and confused young girl and asked.“I am f…” Before she could complete her statement, she slumped and her phone fell off her hand and shattered. Denise got out of his car at once and walked swiftly to her. He looked around to see if any help could come, but it was a Saturday and most of the residents were indoors. He lifted her into the back seat of his car, opened his car trunk, and dropped her luggage and the pieces of her shattered phone before he drove off.At Seven Oaks - Louis' House. When Louis woke up, he could not believe that Olivia left his house the previous night with his pregnancy.“Olivia. Olivia," he called out in despondency.Based on her medical history which he was aware of, he recalled that she could not withstand stress for a long time, how
“Hello, Dr. Harper,” he greeted him after he picked up the call.“Hello, Mr. Bailey. How is she?” the doctor inquired.“That is why I called you. I'm scared doctor. She had been sleeping since we returned.”“Yes. She needed to sleep. She had been under acute stress and antidepressant drugs will cool her nerves.”“It is all right. Thank you, Doctor.”“You are welcome.”At this point, he walked back to the bedroom with a pen and a paper. Then, he reminisced about his encounter with the nurse at the hospital and chuckled.“What could be her name?” He asked himself. When he could not get an answer, he shrugged his shoulders and dropped a note for her all the same.(Please, dear. I would have loved to be by your side, but I have to be at work. Your food is on the dining table. In case you need my attention, call my security man or the janitor, and they will reach out to me. Take care of yourself. Denise.)Afterward, he dropped it beside her, walked back to the parlor, and looked around for
Olivia nodded and attempted to dry the tears that were flowing uncontrollably down her cheeks. A few minutes later, she got out of the grocery shop with bags of fruits and beverages, joined Olivia in the car, and drove off. After a while, she cast a glance at her and encouraged again, “Stop crying, my Angel. You will ruin your beautiful face.”“Thank you, ma'am,” Olivia said with a cold voice and she drove on.She was already at Denise's house when she got a call from her husband. Likewise, She parked and picked up her call.“Hello, Hubby,” she greeted him.“Hello, Baby. Kindly get some candy for Daniel.”“It is all right. See you later.”“It is okay.”When they got into the house, Freya pushed the previous day's food, which Denise had prepared, to a corner of the dining table and served her hot tea. Apart from that, she sat beside her.“Please, endeavor to finish your tea and take your prescription,” she urged her.Despite the situation, Olivia tried to be strong, she collected the
“Yes. This morning. She was almost gone when I came in. Those are her drugs and her hospital card, I will be on my way. Phil is waiting for me," she informed him while pointing towards the drugs. She picked up the card and gave it to him. Denise collected it and asked, “What about the thing you wanted to discuss with me?”“Oh! Other events had overtaken that, and one of them had been sorted out naturally. We will do that some other time.”“I see.”“Erhe! Denise," she called out when she remembered something.“Yes, Big sister.”“Please make haste, so we can visit her parents before people get to hear about it. I will inform Mom as soon as possible. Take good care of her.”After advising him, she inched towards the door. Denise could not say anything about her advice but just greeted her, “Have a nice day.”At Seven Oaks - Louis's Apartment.Louis's staff members could not believe the scene they saw when they got into his bedroom after pulling the door down. He blacked out at the though
At Seven Oaks Branch Clinic.(The last call to the number was on Friday by 1600 hrs and from ±44 16...... The phone is switched off for now. If you want to locate the user, you have to contact the authority. I hope this meets your needs.) Louis was already in sweat before he was through with the message. He looked at the doctor with teary eyes and asked, “What do you advise me to do, Doctor?”"Do you know the last number that called her?”“Yes. It is my number.”“I feel your pains, Mr. Bailey. Now, the only thing I feel you should do is to be calm. Who knows, she must have traveled to see her parents abroad.”Louis bent his head, groaned, and let out, “That would be suicidal for her. Meeting her parents with pregnancy outside wedlock?”“That is all right. Don't be too hard on yourself, either. The deed had been done, and you have to stay alive to solve it. Just be positive.”At Denise's ApartmentDenise dropped her cup of tea by her side and moved. Olivia looked at the tea happily and
On Monday Morning. At Denise's ApartmentDenise and Olivia were sitting on a cane chair and at the courtyard. Their cups of tea were on the center table. The gentle breeze was blowing Olivia's long hair. She was out of pain and stress because her miscarriage cramping and bleeding had ceased. She was beautifully dressed with a pair of black jeggins and a long floral top covered with a winter jacket. She brushed her long gold hair which had been in a ponytail into tight waves, and it looked gorgeous. Furthermore, she had a mild makeup on her face, which made her look different from the woman who had been under the same roof with him for two days. Denise, who had set out to avoid any form of intimacy, could not help to compliment her while touching her hair.“You look so beautiful today, Angel.”Olivia was bashful instantly and replied, “Thank you, for the compliment, Denise.”Denise gave her a romantic look and requested, “Now that you are all right, I think we can talk."She smiled s
Afterward, they drove to the nearby registry and gave the notice to register their marriage, which would last for twenty-eight days. They returned home for lunch. At the lunch table, Olivia asked nervously, “Will your Mom and Dad feel offended by my past?”Denise, who was about to bite his chicken, stopped abruptly, dropped it back onto his plate, and assured her, “She would not. You were only a victim. What if you were her daughter? As for my dad, he died seven years ago."“Oh! Take heart.”“It is okay.”“So, I'm not going to have a father-in-law?” Denise chuckled and assured her, “You will not notice his absence.”“It is okay. What time are we going to meet her?”“This evening.”“You should be at work by then.”“No. I'm off work today. By the way, you were holding a phone the day I picked you up on the road.”“Yes.”“Where is it?”“I have not set my eyes on it since I recovered. Did you see it when you picked me up?"“I can't remember. We will get a new one. You need to be mobile
At that time, her husband collected the phone from her and interrogated John further, “John. It is me. Phil. What kind of car did he drive?”“Good evening, Mr. Anderson. He did not leave with any car. He parked my boss' car, picked up his belongings, and left.”“Okay. Thank you, John. Bye.”At that instance, the lunch was over, and the guests were gone. Olivia's parents, and relations had returned to their hotel, hoping to return to Seven Oaks the next day. Phil had to take over the search for Louis from his wife, who was distressed already.“Baby, you have to be strong because of Mom and Dad. You know they had lost people close to their hearts in the past. Don't bring this until we get to the Native Home. Okay?”She pouted and answered, “Okay dear.” Meanwhile, Arthur had sat with Nichole in the registry and during lunch. He was happy in his propinquity and wished that it should continue. He was carefully searching for Nichole. When Julie walked up to him.“Father, we should be on o
The doctor walked out with the speed of a cheetah, like a man who was about to lose a precious son. The problem on the ground had bonded him with Louis beyond the staff and boss relationship. However, he walked to the car park and gave him a call, but to his chagrin, his phone was off.“Mr. Bailey, please, don't do what all of us would regret,” he mumbled and rested on the door of his car.Currently, the couple, who was smiling happily, was ready for photographs with relatives and friends.“Congratulations. I'm so happy for you, Denise and Olivia,” Mr. And Mrs. McGregor complimented and hugged the couple.“Thank you, Mom and Dad,” they responded simultaneously.Thereafter, other family members followed suit in the congratulatory wishes. When they began to pose for photographs, Mr. Bailey inquired, “Where is the best man?”The other family members who sighted Louis when he walked into the registry began to look around and testified, “I saw him when he walked in.”“He was here. I saw hi
They had enjoyed peace and harmony as a family, and any wrong move could affect the children and grandchildren adversely. So, she never bothered to honor him by replying to his message. Nevertheless, she carefully organized the bride and her train and led them to the registry. At Arthur's Apartment.“Father," Julie called out and her fifty-eight years old father looked up.“Yes, Julie," he answered.“Look at the time. We should be on our way," she informed him.“Oh! Let's go, then.”Arthur and his beautifully dressed daughter got into his car and he turned on the ignition. Before they drove off, he looked at Nichole's apartment and discovered that she had gone. He concealed his disappointment and asked, “So, your Mom has gone?”“Yes, Father. You don't expect that they should still be at home by now. Do you?”“Not at all. She is an excellent organizer who would not want to arrive late at any event.”“You are right, Father.”He had hoped that they would go in convoy. While Julie would
“Mom and Olivia, we will meet at the registry. Daniel, see you later," Freya, who brought her son earlier, said.“It is all right, Auntie Freya. See you later."“Thank you, Freya, for bringing Daniel earlier. I hope to see you and your husband later.”“Yes, Mom. He is getting ready. Daniel, bye.”“Bye, Mom.”The affable Daniel was withdrawn when he saw many strange faces at his grandmother's place. He became clingy and would not leave his grandmother's side. When Olivia noticed that, he called his attention, “Daniel, meet my niece and my cousin.”He looked at her questioningly and ignored her. He felt that she was sharing her love between him and her niece, who was the same age as him. Olivia, who could not get up from her seat because the hair stylist was working on her hair, had to persuade him.“Daniel, my Page Boy, come and give me a hug quickly so we can join Uncle Denise at the registry. He will be cross with us if we keep him waiting.”Instantly, Daniel was scared because he
At the Bailey Native HomeWhen Nichole returned to her apartment with her family, Arthur settled down to have a talk with Julie about Olivia.“Julie.”“Yes, Father.”“I want to believe that Olivia must be a well-behaved girl. Am I right?”She gave her father a warm look before she spoke, "Father, that is an understatement. I had known her when she was growing up, and she is from an excellent home. I was thinking of arranging a blind date for her and Louis. But as you can see, it will never be possible again.”“You are right. But she is still part of us. Denise is also your brother.”“You are right, Father.”“I am excited to see all of you settling down with your spouses. After Denise, the next and last would be Louis, and I'm sure it won't be long before he would settle down.”“Yes, Father. But before him, there is someone that should settle down, too.”Arthur, who was amazed, asked expeditiously, “Who?”Julie looked at him and announced, “Father, it is you. You need to settle down wi
Denise laughed softly as they entwined their index fingers, a symbol of a pinky promise. Then, Olivia walked to his couch and sat beside him, feeling uneasy. The nightmare she went through by sleeping with a man before their marriage was still fresh in her memory. Denise looked at her and asked, “What are your plans for our honeymoon. Where and how long.”She smiled and said, “Let it come as a wedding surprise from you. Any plan you make will be all right by me.”“Wow! You are putting me on the spot.”Olivia smiled and remarked, “I trust your judgment. I know you can come up with something nice.”Now, she saw some semblance between him and Louis for the first time and considered it as an act of God. Then, she crawled to his side of the couch and rested her head on his thighs before he looked up to his face. Denise looked into her eyes and announced, “I'm planning sixty days of honeymoon. Can you withstand it?”She sat up and cupped his face with her hands before she gave him a pass
After the two attempts failed to get a response, he gave him a call. Now, the ringtone, which he wished would be a call from Olivia,, turned out to be from Eri,c, woke him up from sleep. He looked at the wall clock before he picked up his phone and discovered that it was 5 PM.Then, he spoke, “Hello, Eric.”“Good day, Boss. I am at your door. Just want to check on you.”“Oh! That is good. Please wait.”Eric was glad when he said, 'Please wait' because he believed that his plans would work. Then, Louis got out of his bed and put on his bathrobe before he walked to the door and opened it. When he saw him, he smiled and invited him in, “Come in, Eric.”“Thank you, Boss.”Eric responded as he followed him into his suite. When they got in, Louis was not comfortable with the bathrobe that he was putting on, and he announced.“Please have a seat. I will be back.”“It is all right, Boss," Eric said and took his seat on one of the couches. He looked around the parlor of his suite while he wa
In Cairo, Egypt. He had been combining the exhibition and the search for Olivia's parents. It had not been easy for him because the identities of the Missionaries were safe-guided because they were prone to attack. Now, he had visited one missionary camp or the other, but he kept getting the same result. On one occasion, he was almost detained by the security personnel.“Why do you wish to see the McGregor?” an officer asked him.At that point, he was dumbstruck. He could not think of any good reason, and that made him appear suspicious. When he was unable to provide a reason, one of the security guards who saw him as a responsible man advised him, “Young man, kindly leave and don't come back. I may not be kind to you next time.”“Thank you, Officer," he said and walked away dejectedly. He fought back the tears that were about to drop from his eyes when a thought got to his head.'What a life? Olivia could not allow a day to pass by without seeing or hearing from me. Here I am, goin
Before 7 AM, he was at Heathrow Airport with all his team members. At 8 am, they were airborne to Cairo. At the Bailey Native Home.Nichole was about to leave for work as usual. Olivia walked her to the verandah and said, “Have a nice day, Mom.”“And you too. Take care of yourself. Remember, no stressing activities.”“I got it, Mom.”When Nichole got into her car, she stole a brief look at her before she turned on her ignition and waved at her.'Is this girl truly pregnant? What was Freya talking about?' She thought and drove off. She could not do otherwise since her son had not mentioned that his would-be wife was pregnant, and she respected his privacy. As Olivia and Denise had agreed, he decided to meet her before lunch, which he did intentionally. He wanted to maintain his principle of intimacy only after the wedding. Olivia, who had been expecting him, jumped to her feet when she heard the doorbell sound.(Ding.)She opened the door, ran into his arm,, and said, “Welcome, honey
