Chapter Five - Ya Messed Up

I was surprised to wake up feeling no pain at all. I guess Six's pills and shower were my solution. I surprised myself even more by being ready by 06:30. I was waiting outside the gate, dressed in blue jeans, a blue and white striped t-shirt, a white leather jacket, my blue Converse boot sneakers, and matching accessories, including a blue scarf.

It was once again chilly, and I could see the leaves starting to change. Fall is officially upon us. The familiar purr of Six's car sounded as he turned into our street. I only then realized that it was a black corvette.

He parked the car before stepping out, dressed once more in all black. He's a walking clichè, but something told me that once I knew everything about him, I wouldn't think so at all. Something told me that while he looks like a cliché, he's a million miles from it. "I see you didn't want me in your room," he commented, that teasing tone I'm not sure about in his voice.     I could hear the music as we turned into the street. The house was at the very end of the street,and the closer we got, the more I could feel the vibrations. The different lights coming from the house and the many cars parked outside told me that this party would be one for the books. Also, the neighbors here must be quite tolerant. Noah parked the car and came around to let me out. Everyone seemed to know who had arrived since almost everyone was looking our way; that, and Noah's car is a blue BMW and all.     Being the ever so brave girlie that I am, I faced Six and told him what a mistake I'd made and begged for his forgiveness. He told me everything was fine and that it was nothing; that he completely understands. That is also a lie. I ran like a chicken that I am. I got to the class so flustered that my calculus teacher was instantly worried about me.After convincing her that I'm fine, she let me take my seat, which Summer had graciously saved for me.
