Chapter-90 (For Mom)

Scarlett Miller's POV 

I was roaming in the room. It was eleventh time I was trying to reach mom. But no response. "Is she alright?" I took a deep breath. 

"Should I call Carlos?" I thought. Maybe she have some news. I instantly dialled her number. "Pick up! Pick up." I kept saying impatiently. 

That's when somebody spoke from the other side. "Hello Carlos," I instantly took her name. "Before you start I should tell you Carlos is with her dad." A female voice interupted. 

"You are?" I asked her. "You didn't recognise me? That's sad." She said in a slow tone. "Aunty!!!!" I took her name with full force. 

"Don't talk to me." She said to me. I knew she was faking anger. I didn't have much strength to fake anymore. I was silent. "What happened Scarlett?" She asked me.
