"I missed you so much, Draken." The girl chirped as she hugged him even more tightly and Draken made no move to push her off of him. The girl seemed to notice another presence and she found Aurora standing there. The girl's brows furrowed as she broke the hug. "Who is this?" She asked while pointing at Aurora and Aurora stiffened. Would Draken get mad that she came to check who it was? "Aurora," Draken said as he slowly turned around to face her. "My mate," his voice came out deeper and the girl's eyes widened in shock. "What?" She turned to look at Draken who stood there emotionless. Aurora felt as if she was disturbing them and she wasn't supposed to be there. But if this girl was his lover she wasn't expecting him to introduce her as his mate. "B..but. How? Why?" The girl blabbered sadly. Her face had fallen as soon as he told her about Aurora. "Draken, but..." She seemed to be angry. Aurora may be naive but it was obvious that this girl has some relationship with Draken
"From now onwards, you must cook food and keep this house clean. You've to do all the chores from laundry to everything" He said calmly as he let go of her arm once they were in the kitchen. She stared at him dumbfounded. He brought her to his pack to make her his maid. She wanted to scream no at his face but he seemed so threatening that she thought it would be better to leave without answering him but who was she kidding? He set his arm out stopping her from escaping. "Don't you understand what I just said?" He asked her coldly as she stepped away from him. Her brows were knitted together and her eyes glossed up. "I...I'm n...not your maid," She whispered and he closed his eyes for a brief second. It was obvious he was trying to control his anger but she didn't even do anything wrong. She was just telling the truth and he couldn't digest it. What was her fault in all this? "From now on you are," He said icily and her heart stuttered in pain. He was being cruel and illogical.
A week has passed since that incident. She has been doing all the chores without any complaints. The most difficult one was the cooking but thankfully Charlotte comes by every evening and Aurora would note down the recipe for the dinner with her help.In the first two days, she was drained after the chores because she wasn't used to such hard work. She had lived her life like a princess back in her pack but now she was out of the safety cocoon. Now she had to learn how to face difficulties and how to overcome them.Charlotte was surprised to find Aurora working but she didn't ask her why she was doing all the chores.Aurora asked her to help with the recipes and procedure for the dinner and Charlotte agreed. Aurora admits that her cooking wasn't good for now but she was trying. She was slowly learning everything. By the end of the week, she was getting used to all the work. She had made up her routine. She would wake up early in the morning. Make breakfast for him and then disappear i
The doorbell rang and Aurora groaned before she got up from the floor and dusted her clothes. Well, there was no dirt really because she had cleaned the place so much that it was sparkling and as a perfectionist, she likes it to be perfect. She walked to the door and opened it without checking through the peephole. She thought it was Charlotte but it was Echo. "He is not home," Aurora said thinking that she was here to meet him. "I'm here to talk to you," Echo said as she stepped inside even though Aurora hadn't opened the door fully. Aurora closed the door as she looked at her. What does she want to talk to her about? "Let's head to the backyard," Echo said in a very small voice as she headed out. Aurora was skeptical but she followed her to the backyard. Echo was wearing a dark blue dress that was hugging her curves like a second skin. She was beautiful no doubt. Echo knew about the hidden cameras, and that was why she asked her to come to the backyard because there were no ca
Aurora has been secretly looking for her phone as she did all the cleaning. For two days straight, she tried her best to find her phone. The last place was his study. Charlotte had told her that he often works in his study in the mansion and most of the time it stayed locked in his absence. Luckily she had found a bunch of spare keys for all the doors. She was kind of sure that her phone was in there. As she lay in her bed. She couldn't help but think about tomorrow because it will be her Luna ceremony. She was nervous. She didn't want to break the bond with her pack and join this new pack but she had no choice. This Luna ceremony was important for her if she wanted to escape. With those thoughts in her mind. She drifted off to sleep. Aurora woke up early in the morning. She made breakfast and got back to her chores. She was still avoiding him. She noticed that he didn't return to the mansion last night. She didn't want to think about it but her mind went to Echo. What if he was w
The celebration went on for a long while as considerable people congratulated her and she got to meet many people. The dinner was served and everyone enjoyed the meal. The whole thing lasted for hours. When they get back to the mansion. It was late at night and she was tired.Back there she wanted to sit down and relax but it didn't feel right to keep sitting and greeting the members. Her mom had taught her to respect everyone no matter the color status or anything and now she has made up her mind to be the true Luna of this pack. Then she had to work for it.Once inside her room she locked the door and got out of the dress. She freshened up and wore a large-sized shirt, the one she had stolen from Rasmus's wardrobe. She didn't wear anything else except a shirt and lace black panties. She was just so tired.Climbing onto the bed she disposed of her body on it and sighed feeling the soft mattress. She blinked slowly.Did she have it in her to give this mate bond a chance? From the star
Aurora breathed in deeply through her nose to calm herself down but it was a wrong move because all she could inhale was his scent all around her.Her heart was slamming against her ribcage hard and fast. She counted backward to divert her mind from her palms on his naked flesh and the crazy sparks. She was completely aware of his heavy muscular arm on her waist. She wanted to squeal, jump out of his embrace, and ran back to her room. Instead, she closed her eyes for a brief second before she slowly grabbed his hand that was on her waist and shifted in his arms so that her back was to him but she made no move to get out of his hold.Maybe he wasn't expecting her to submit so easily because his body tensed up. He was still lying straight and she hoped he would continue to lay like that but he had other things on his mind.Within a second his body shifted behind her and she felt his arm snaking around her waist as he jerked her closer. Her heart ceased to beat when he pushed her hair up
His back was towards her and she was rendered speechless. The dark ink that marked the muscles on his back had her unmoving as she ogled at his back with wide eyes. A dragon. There was a dragon tattoo on his back, the head of the dragon inked expertly on his neck. His muscles tensed under her gaze as he slowly turned around. Her big ocean eyes gaped at him. Her eyes lingered on his hard muscular chest and then those perfectly carved abs. The brush of trimmed hair on his chest. He was just in his sweats. Her eyes slowly moved up when they finally met the onyx hues as he narrowed his eyes at her. A blush crept up her cheeks as she abruptly turned around giving her back to him. "S...sorry," She whispered, her voice evidence of her flustered state. She contemplated running and saving herself from this weird intense situation but for how long would she continue to run away? A yelp left her lips when her arm was taken in a steel-like grip. The door was slammed shut and her back was
