The drive to the Village Festival is silent but my mind was anything but that. At first, I kept recalling the old Vaughn, the way he and his gang used to isolate me, tease me. I know I had Cole but still, it was bad. I had been lonely and sad. Being a wolf in isolation is not something our animal likes.
