Chapter 76

Author's POV

Xavier entered his room and saw Angela was sitting on the bed, waiting for him.

"Love, didn't I have told you to get some sleep? Why do you are still wake up then?" Xavier asked and removed his suit. He put it on a couch.

"I was waiting for you. I am afraid to sleep alone" Angela muttered.

Xavier went towards her then sat down beside her.

Cupping her cheeks gently he spoke up, "Don't worry love. I am okay. Everything will be okay"

Hearing this Angela looked at him.

"You are my only family, Xavier. I do not want to lose you" Angela said to him. Her eyes turned watery. A tear managed to roll down on her cheek.

Xavier wiped her tear immediately.

"You will not lose me. I will try my best to come back to you. Now sleep love" Xavier said made her laid down then he also laid down.

Angela put her head on his chest. Xavier wrapped his arms around her then they both fell asleep.

The next day

Angela woke up. She tried to get down from the bed when she felt someone was holdi
