I felt a tap on my arm. I looked up to see a smile on my fathers face.
“May I have the first dance?!.” He asked.
“I was going to give it to my mom but…” I paused and saw the look on his face, I smiled and then gave my coutsy. “Since you asked nicely it would be my honor!.” I told him.
He stretched his hand and I took it gently. I had no idea what I was doing, all the years of watching Cinderella better pay off!.
My father moved slowly, I copied his movements, he turned me around slowly , I let myself bend backwards a bit when I didn’t feel anyone grab me I freaked out.
