Chapter 28: Where is Selena?

Ella’s POV

Throughout the night, Selena’s cold words kept echoing through my head and sleep became difficult. I rolled over and over, silently begging the goddess to protect me.

Selena was right.

I was not a saint. I had skeletons just like she had mentioned and one of those skeletons was my pregnancy. If the family ever got to know about it, they were surely going to throw me off to the streets.
