Chapter 129: Into The Dungeon

Ryker’s POV

I continued working with the man till he was done for the day because I didn’t him to look around for me or start asking people about me when I disappeared. I collected my daily payment from him and slipped away calmly between the other workers like I had a place outside of the palace.

As soon as I was sure no one was paying me any attention, I slipped back into the main house and started to hurriedly make my way down to the lower levels where I knew the dungeons were.

The journey down was easy, the problem came when I got to the dungeon itself, there were about four guards at the entrance and there was no way I could slip past them without getting questioned or apprehended.
