Ella’s POV

“I don’t care about who he trusted. That’s on him not me,” I snapped, getting to my feet. My heart was starting to hurt because of someone who wasn’t even worth it, and I didn’t like it.

“Ella, but he is your father,” Ryker insisted, and I turned my burning eyes to him.

Didn’t he see that I didn’t want to talk about this? Didn’t he see how much it was pissing me off?

But rather than show my anger, I swallowed all my emotions and smiled.

“I’d like to go change now,” I said and before he could reply, I walked out of the room and went to mine.

I hated how my heart felt concerned for Andrew and Ryker kept bringing it up. He didn’t deserve any reaction from me. he hurt me and now the goddess was paying him back, he had to deal with it on his own.
