Ella’s POV

“I am not even concerned with that,” I whispered, and everyone turned to me. “Where will we stay? Anna needs a place to recuperate. I can’t keep hiding. It is obvious now that they don’t want me alive. None of them.”

Tears were threatening to escape from my eyes, but my wolf stood firm. We have cried enough. We have been bullied enough. They have tried so hard to kill me, but the goddess always found a way to protect me.

This meant one thing, I had a purpose, and I was going to fulfil that purpose whether they liked it or not.

“I am sure we can find another safe house somewhere. The alpha has a lot of houses littered around,” Patrick said from the corner of the wall where he stood with arms crossed and eyes fixed on the sleeping Anna.

“But what if they find out about that too?” Esther interjected.

“This even brings us to the actual question. How did they find out? How did they know that you were there? Not many people know about that house…” Ryker trailed as a vein popped
