Ember frowned in shock.

Amelia had misunderstood her so she clarified, "I care about you too."

"In that case, why let Leona move in? Don't you know what she's after? Didn't James and you say that I am the rightful Mrs.Prescott? That I didn't do anything wrong so the position is mine?"

Amelia was getting emotional. She felt like the couple before her had betrayed her. Ember was aware of how unfair this was to Amelia. And she too felt guilty when faced with Amelia's accusation.

But she had her pride as Amelia's mother-in-law, and she would not let Amelia yell at her disrespectfully. Ember donned on a stubborn front.

"Leona is Rory's mother. Rory and her can stay with the family. I don't care what she's after. Rory needs a mom. Unless you agree to raise Rory with Liam as your child? But know that doing this gives Leona a reason to approach Liam."
