The next day, Ember looked sullen when she came over.

Amelia was about to ask her when she heard a woman's voice.

"Liam, I heard you were injured. Are you okay now?"

Amelia watched the woman in a pink down jacket run in from behind Ember and rushed to Liam's bedside, clutching his hand as she cried in anxiety and concern.
