"If you don't believe what I say, you will regret it," Lily said with a cheerful expression and offered no further explanation.

Initially, Liam paid little attention to her words. However, after a few drinks, he began to feel uneasy.

"Please explain further," he requested.

Lily smiled after observing his obvious curiosity while he maintained his aloof demeanor.

"Well then, try to put yourself in her place; if a man constantly cares for another woman and treats her well under the guise of friendship, all the while claiming she's like a sister to him, would that make you happy?"

Liam coldly snorted, recalling Eric and Oscar.

"I can take care of my woman. I don't need other people to be concerned," he retorted.

Lily raised an eyebrow. "You see, you can't even accept the idea of other men caring for her. So, if she were to care for another man and treat him as a brother, wouldn't you be even more unable to accept it?"

Lily had a look of vindication on her face.

Liam's expression
