Chapter 19

Patricia's POV

I was quietly reading a biology book here in the library when someone sat beside me.

"Hey! Tell me the tea!" Jess interrupted me.

"What happened there at the party last time?! You haven't told me yet!"

I was tormented by her noise. That's why I didn't take her here anymore because she would only complain. She really followed me.

"Hey!" she touched me. "I heard Zara was there? I even saw their pictures online-"

"There's nothing important there, Jess"

"You're so mean!" she laughed. "By the way, even I would be upset if that girl was like a snake to my husband!"

“I'm not upset, Jess!" I firmly denied. I folded the book I was reading. I lost my concentration because of her.

"Tsk, really?"

I stood up and left her. I know she will just tease me again.

A few days have passed since Mr. Salvador's party but I still can't get off to my mind what happened that night.
