"This dress is so beautiful, dad. Thank you so much for this," Zia spoke to her father while hugging him. She wore her birthday dress which her parents gifted her as another present for her birthday.
"It's looking beautiful because my Zia has worn it," her father, Zale, said to her with a smile after pulling back from their hug. She was her dad's princess and her father considered her as the biggest blessing of his life. He believed in fulfilling her every wish and happiness before she could even ask for it.
"Okay, I am going to greet the guests with your dad," her mother, Cia, told her, who was there to help her in getting ready for her birthday party along with her aunt Violet and friend Riley. Zia bobbed her head in response to her mother.
"I am coming too. You both finish doing your hair, then come out, okay?" Zia's aunt, Violet, uttered to both Zia and her friend Riley and then she and Zia's parents left from Zia's room, leaving the two best friends alone.
Her parents and aunt were heading towards the huge hall of their manor where they had organised the party but the sound of her father's phone ringing halted them. Zale took out his phone and after watching the name flashing on the screen, he uttered to the two women.
"Go greet the guests. I will be there in a minute,"
Both the women nodded at him and strode away from there. Zale picked up his call.
"Hello…."
"I am on my way," that cavernous deep voice answered from the other side of the call.
"Okay. We all are waiting for you here," Zale further stated in his husky tone.
"I will be there soon, Mr Alcazar,"
Hearing that response, Zale hummed and then the call got disconnected.
Meanwhile inside Zia's room, both the girls got done getting ready for the party.
"I saw him talking to Chloe,"
Zia snapped her head at her friend, Riley, who was informing her about Dylan's arrival at the party and that she had seen Chloe talking to him.
"What? Chloe? That…." She clenched her jaw.
"I just hate that bimbo. She just needs a second to get attached to Dylan like a leach. It's my mistake that I invited her here," Zia had invited Riley with the only purpose to make her jealous of her and Dylan as Zia loathed Riley from their college days because of Chloe's arrogant and absurd behaviour towards others students and things turned more messy between them when both the girls got to know about their liking towards the same boy. Their disliking towards each other turned into hatred the day Zia proposed to Dylan in front of everyone when Chloe was about to propose to him and their rivalry became more ugly from that point and for Zia, she didn't leave a single second to make Chloe realise that Dylan was his and was forever his, especially after knowing Chloe had started working Dylan as his personal assistant. She never told Dylan about this and neither told him to fire Chloe because she trusted Dylan with everything and decided to teach Chloe a lesson in her own ways.
"Calm down, Miss Alcazar. Your Dylan is yours so no need to get so hyper,"
Zia rolled her sapphire orbs at Riley's remark and then fixed her eyes at her own reflection in the mirror.
"Of course. My Dylan is mine and Zia Alcazar doesn't believe in sharing what is hers," she uttered, gazing at her reflection.
"Okay…Miss Zia Alcazar. Nobody is taking your Dylan away from you," Riley chortled, making Zia show her her tongue and again looked into her blue eyes in the mirror's reflection.
"As if I will let any person take him away from me in the first place…"
…………
The forceful blows of wind turned abrupt as the headlight of that car penetrated the darkness of the night and made the guards, standing in front of the gate, to shut their eyes as that gleaming exorbitantly expensive car entered into the gate of Alcazar's manor.
The guards straightened their figures and turned alert as soon as they saw the door of that car getting opened and that man stepped out of it. His precarious emerald eyes peered at no one but his gaze held so much power and dominance that the guards felt the necessity to lower their gazes.
One among the guards approached that muscular tall presence as he lifted his car's keys. The guard took the keys from him and then watched him shoving his hands in his pocket and then that person took his long strides inside the mansion's door like he owned everything that surrounds him.
Those feet halted at the doorstep of that hall which was beautifully decorated until..
"Look, Damien is finally here,"
His piercing green eyes darted towards his father, Reid Karlson, after hearing his voice which made every other pair of eyes look at him, including Zale and Celia Alcazar.
He stepped inside the door finally by watching the Alcazar and Karlson family coming towards him.
"Damien….is it really you?" That gentle feminine voice caught his attention and he saw Celia Alcazar…..the wife of Zale Alcazar and mother of Zia Alcazar, smiling at him. That woman was the epitome of light, selflessness and happiness and he had witnessed it himself in her azure eyes at the age of just 5 in their very first meeting.
He noticed that the woman's eyes filled with affection and warmth for him by watching him after so many years. She opened her arms for him and embraced him in a motherly hug. His arms also didn't restrain themselves from holding her back because those moments of his childhood which he had spent with her and her husband were the only moments in his life in which he had lived happily, like a real child.
"You have grown up so much, son " she caressed his head with a big smile on her face. He returned the gesture by tenderly nodding his head at her and then his gaze shifted towards her husband, Zale Alcazar.
He extended his palm to him for a shake and Zale clutched it back. He patted Damien's shoulder.
"How's everything going, young man?" Zale asked him to which he wagged his head at him in respect.
"Your elder son has also grown up into a handsome young man, Larisa just like his little brother, Dylan…" Cia uttered to Mrs Karlson who smiled at her and then turned her eyes at Damien.
"Okay now come inside, Damien," Zale said, earning a nod from him.
After a couple of minutes, Zale was talking to Damien about his life and business in foreign country when suddenly the lights got shut entirely and a white spotlight flashed.
"Zia is here," Zale's words peered into Damien's ear which made him turn his head around and follow the direction of the spotlight which stopped at the upper stairs and fell on that person standing above it.
His malicious green orbs finally got to see that person on whose existence he had staked his claim before even that existence came into being……ZIA ALCAZAR…..
Wrapped in a beautiful blood red gown, her warm ivory skin was gleaming. Her plumpy lips wore a dark shade of red. Her pale cheeks had a natural blush but the centre of attraction of her beauty was her shining sapphire eyes which were like crystals shimmering in the deepest depth of ocean. An alluring smile was dancing on her enchanting face as she stepped down the stairs carefully and the guests started wishing and clapping for her but those green orbs just stared at her like she had trapped his very being in the very first glance.
He was totally lost in her ethereal eyes…those eyes which he was aching to see from the past 20 years but not even for once those eyes trailed at him, not even mistakenly but they lightened up as soon as they fell on that person whom he despised with every fibre in his body…. Dylan Karlson….
Dylan extended his palm to her as soon as she reached the last stair. Her smile widened. Zia placed her palm over his which made Dylan hold it tightly.
"Happy birthday, my favourite,"Dylan uttered with a smile.
"Thank you so much," she beamed back while wrapping her arms around his neck. Dylan caged her back and pecked the side of her head which made a specific person to ball his fist aggressively.
"Happy birthday, Zia," Dylan's parents wished her. Zia flashed them a warm grin before hugging and thanking them and then she greeted some other guests.
After some time, Zia was talking to some of her college mates when Riley dragged her away from there to show her a man whom Riley had concluded was very very handsome and drop dead gorgeous.
"But who, Riley?" Zia asked, irritated as they couldn't find Riley's handsome man anymore in the party.
"I am trying to find him but he just vanished all of a sudden," Riley said, wandering her gaze everywhere.
Zia rolled her eyes before saying.
"Then you continue searching for your mystery handsome man, I am going to meet my handsome man," she said and left her friend.
Zia was searching for Dylan but instead of finding him, her eyes stopped at a tall man's back. His tall height gained her attention towards it but Zia decided to mind her own business but the very second she tried to do it, her eyes caught something which turned her stunned. That tall man was holding a glass of some kind of drink but the problem was his grip around that glass which seemed unusually aggressive and tight, like he was trying to break it. His nerves had also popped out on the back of his palm which caused her to frown. What kind of creature was that? Weirdo…Her mind wondered.
"Zia…."
Her father's voice made her revolve around.
"Yes, dad," she replied, watching him coming closer to her.
"Come with me. I want you to meet with one of my special guests,"
She nodded at her father and grabbed his arm.
"Sure," she beamed at her dad, excited to meet his special guest.
Her father beamed back at her and then she saw him taking her somewhere…not any special where but towards that tall weird creature of a man.
"Damien…."
She heard her father speaking out that name which startled her…. Damien…? Was it that Damien? She tossed her gaze to look at the possessor of that name and found those piercing green eyes staring at her. Wow…he had nice looking eyes but why did they feel so intense like they were about to take part in a mystery game?
"Meet my daughter, Zia Alcazar and Zia, he is Damien Karlson,"
Her father's words confirmed her doubt. It was that Damien Karlson.
"Damien Karlson? Dylan's elder brother?" She further asked to clear her remaining doubts but her words caused Damien to dig his fingers in his palm.
Despite hearing those things about him from Dylan, she didn't restrain her curiosity of meeting him from engulfing her eyes because to be honest, after hearing about his story from Dylan, she was really very curious to meet the villainous hero of that story.
Those emerald gaze saw her azure eyes to shine up whereas her luscious lips stretched into a wide smile which involuntarily made his fingers stop their abruptness over his palm.
"Hi…nice to meet you finally,"
He heard her beautifully amiable voice which was like a serene tune for his ears and in return, all he could do was just to wag his head at her.
"Zia, why don't you give a tour to Damien of our home? He has come here after so many years,"
Zia's father said to her which made her gulp but she didn't let her hesitation show on her face and agreed with a polite grin because she didn't want to insult her father or his guest by denying her dad's words.
"Sure, dad…" she beamed and tore her gaze to look at that person where she found those emerald eyes were still on her. Really a weird creature…she stopped her mind for making those inappropriate comments on that man.
"Please come," she respectfully gestured to her father's guest to follow her and then turned around. She started walking away but sighed when she felt that man following her….Great….it was just a home tour to that weird creature of a man. What possibly could go wrong? Only if she knew…. what was really going to happen on that small home tour which she was going to give to her weird creature of a man….
"And this is our top floor," Zia said to him. She was giving him a tour of her house for the past 10 minutes and finally they reached the highest floor of the manor. She stretched her head to look at him but like usual there was no expression in his eyes which were on her and not a single word came from his mouth. She was with him for more than 10 minutes now but she didn't hear him speaking even for once and that thing made her conclude that he couldn't speak but if that was the case then Dylan or her dad must have told her so he could speak then why he was not talking to her but just staring at her like that…yeah…that weird creature didn't even try to hide the fact he was staring at her because everytime she looked at him, she caught him gazing at her. He didn't even feel hesitant to make it so obvious. How rude and disrespectful? But she sighed and decided to end that tour as soon as possible because that weird creature was giving her unusual vibes which she didn't like."There's
Storming back inside the party after her encounter with him at that balcony, Zia got bumped with Riley. "You're finally here. Where were you for almost half an hour? Your parents were looking for you, Zi…" Riley halted by witnessing that frown on Zia's face. "Zia, what's wrong?" Zia opened her mouth to answer but stopped when her gaze fell on that green eyes creature entering into the hall again. His eyes were already on her which made her grit her teeth. Confused, Riley followed Zia's angry glare's direction and saw that man which widened her eyes. "Hey! Zia, look. It was that handsome man about whom I was talking about," Zia's scowl deepened hearing Riley's words, especially after understanding to whom she was referring. She clenched her jaw. "From which angle he is looking handsome to you, Riley?" Zia spat at her friend. Riley gave her a stunned look before answering. "From each and every angle," Riley's answer bursted out the volcano inside Zia but Riley didn't understand
Clad in a skin fit off shoulder top and ankle length jeans, she was combing her light brown hair. "Perfect," she dropped the comb and took a glance at her in the mirror in front of her. Her pale face wore no layer of makeup but just a rosy lip tint which enhanced her plumpy lips even more. Her open hair had a natural bounce and a wavy look. She took a look in her wrist watch and her eyes widened. It was already 8. She was getting late for dinner with Dylan and his family. Grabbing her car keys and crop jacket from the bed, she ran out of her room.It took her almost half an hour to reach Dylan's home. She parked her car in front of his villa and immediately a guard came and opened the door for her. "Good evening, Miss Alcazar," he greeted her with a gentle bow. She smiled and greeted him back and then stepped inside the house."Look who is finally here. Our Alcazar princess,"Zia giggled hearing Dylan's father, Reid Karlson, who always used to treat her like his own child from her c
For a hot second, Zia felt like her heart skipped a beat just by looking into those verdant eyes of his but she shook herself and stepped back, creating the rational distance between their bodies. He didn't say anything but just gazed at her every action thoroughly. "What happened to you?" She asked him, concerned but in return saw him tossing his head and looked at his car which had gotten bumped against that streetlight's post. She slightly narrowed her eyes at him when he again turned around to look at her because she understood he was making fun of her question. "I mean…how did this happen?" She uttered, irritated a bit. His lips twitched into an almost invisible grin but her gaze was sharp enough to watch it. "Maybe because this town doesn't like my presence in it that well, including its streets and people," he answered, surpassing his grin. Zia's jaw set at his answer because she knew exactly what he meant by his words. "Then I guess you should leave this town before it e
He touched her for the very first time and it made her feel so many things and they were so terrifying that it scared her. The shipping of their skins felt nefariously igniting.Damien grabbed her wrist in a gentle hold and started pulling her closer. To her own surprise, she followed him with no defiance like her body had become his slave and her defier. After removing the sane distance between them, she took her watery eyes up where Damien saw a warm fat tear trickling down her slightly pink cheeks which faded his anger. His gaze softened as he saw those beautiful sapphire eyes glistening with tears because he considered those eyes as his entire life. In those crystalline blue orbs, he believed his entire life was living.More tears started falling from her eyes as she saw him staring at her like that, like she was the most relevant person of his life. Nobody had even looked at her like that, not even Dylan. No stare had ever made her feel so needed the way his gaze was making her f
The growling sound of the clouds roaring and heavy rainfall was turning everything more passionate and sinful between those bare shipping bodies. Her arms were holding his naked back whereas her nails were scratching his skin harshly everytime she felt him hitting her on her pleasure point. Her azure eyes were shimmering with tears of ecstasy which were gazing into those alluringly darkened green eyes of his which were hovering over her. "Aah…please," she whimpered in pleasure when he deepened the penetration more by lifting her waist a bit and increased his pace more. Tears started rolling down from the corner of her eyes as she felt herself losing in him. It was feeling so beautiful, so alluring the way he was ruining her. She wrapped her legs around his waist and tangled her fingers in between his hair. Her warm and sensitive walls clenched around his hardened and thick girth, causing him to swell up more inside her. She was him clenching his jaw as he rutted her mercilessly w
Zia continued to stare into these emerald eyes with that question roaming all over her mind that why he was here. The flashes of what had happened between them in his penthouse and in her dream immediately started coming in her mind which made her heart beat more rapidly. "Can't it wait for sometime? Damien and I are conversing over something very important?" Her father's voice took her out of her thoughts. She looked at her father and answered. "I won't take much of your time. Just a couple of minutes," Zia didn't even recognise how desperate she was sounding right at this moment. She just knew that she had to do whatever it took to get away even from that man's shadow and who knew, with what purpose he was there so she decided to talk to her parents with no further delay. "It's okay. I will wait outside, Mr Alcazar," She heard his deep hoarse voice uttering to her father which tightened something inside her. Her father, Zale, nodded at Damien, causing him to get up on his feet.
The shining white stars were beautifully twinkling all over the night sky. The light of the moon was illuminating, enhancing the celestial beauty of the night even more. The cold wind was blowing gently, causing her dusky hair to dance over her face who was staring at the sky. Zia was standing on the balcony of her room because she wanted to calm that storm of emotions inside her which had emerged after her encounter with him today at the lobby and her argument with her parents in her dad's study room. She had never thought a day like this would ever come where she would not be able to figure out what she was actually wanting. She never thought that one day she would try to run away from her own emotions. She had always considered herself sharp headed just like her father and strong hearted just like her mother but now all she could find was a helplessly vulnerable girl in her who wanted to run away from everything. How things turned this much messy just because of that one person? Th
"No, mum. Me and Damien, we both are fine. Don't worry about it but that little girl….." Zia's voice shivered. She was talking to her mother, Cia, who had turned extremely worried about them after hearing about her accident near thar park. "No, mum. Please tell dad that I am fine and he and you don't have to come here. You take care of dad's health. Me, Damien, Dylan and Leo are here in the hospital with that girl," Zia stated as her parents wanted to come there to the hospital but she was stopping them because her father's health was not well too. "You take care of dad. We all will handle everything here….okay, I will continue to update you about here, bye bye ...." Zia hung up the call. With a sigh, she walked towards the operation theatre. Damien and Dylan were standing outside the operation theatre whereas Leo was talking on a phone. All of their faces had worn a tense reaction, especially Damien's as the operation of that girl was going on for almost an hour now. "Damien, any
"Congratulations, my baby. I am so so proud of you, Zia uttered, hugging her son. Her happiness knew no boundaries today. Her son had finally passed his high school. Though his grades were very low, he still managed to pass his high school finally. "I am so happy for you," Pulling back, Zia pecked her son's forehead. A smile appeared on Zian's face, witnessing his mother's happiness, and then he trailed his light blue eyes at his father. Damien walked towards them and looked at his 18 years old son. Day by day, he had started looking just like him. From his aura to his physical appearance, his son had inherited every trait of his, except his eyes. His eyes were the exact reflection of his mother's sapphire orbs with the only difference that….his mother's eyes always looked like they had a beautiful warmth but their son's seemed to have an icy coldness in them just like his dad's. Damien placed his palm over his son's shoulder and patted it. "Congratulations for passing your high sc
"We will embrace your fear together, mi vida," he halted her. Zia just stared at him. He cupped her face a little firmly."We will try our best to win against your fear if you want," he assured her. "Are you happy about it?" She asked him, sincerely. A smile formed on his face at her question. Damien put a kiss on her forehead before answering."You can't even imagine how much, but for me your happiness matters the most," Once again, her heart fell head over heels for this man. His love was a kind of feeling which held the power of overpowering all kinds of her feelings and emotions, including her fear.Zia caged him tightly and amiably whispered."I love you so much, mi vida," Damien beamed warmly before embracing her lovingly in his arms and answering."I love you more, mi vida,"………………Gentle waves of air were blowing. The swing was gently moving. The birds were chirping. The sun was shining beautifully in the light blue sky. A smile was playing over her lips as she was staring
"Yum….the food smells delicious, hubby," Damien chuckled, hearing his wife who was sitting on the countertop of their kitchen. He was cooking her favourite dishes as her final exams of her last year in college had just ended today. Yes…….. it had been almost one year since he had gotten this beautiful human as his wife. It had been almost one year, they both had gotten tied in that alluring bond of marriage. Their family bonding had even turned better in this one year. Damien had finally started opening up to his family wholeheartedly. They both still lived in their own home like they used to do before, but now at least for once, they both visited the Karlson family in a week. Damien had chosen to stay away from the public eyes and limelight in every possible way so he refused to be the part of Karlson's business and corporations which everyone respected and accepted. Slowly and slowly, everything had started falling back to its right track. Her mouth watered when she saw him putti
Chloe lowered her eyes and then wiped her cheeks. Zia's heart clenched as she saw her vulnerable state. Despite everything, they all somehow received something beautiful but that poor girl lost everything in all of this. Zia was never a fan of Chloe but now when she had started understanding people, she noticed that it was not always about whom you liked or not….the most important and relevant thing was that a human must feel humanity towards another human.Exhaling a soft breath, she walked towards Chloe. Zia sat beside her and then wrapped her arms around her face. She gently turned her face towards her and saw her swollen reddened eyes which were still shedding tears because Chloe knew that at this point, she had nothing to hold onto. Zia's heart ached and felt extremely bad for her.Gently wiping her eyes with her thumbs, she spoke."I should also apologise to you, Chloe," Chloe just stared at her silently."Because I was the one who never tried to behave humanly towards you. I
"Take your steps carefully," Dylan uttered to Chloe. He was helping her walk to the bed. They both had gotten back to the Karlson residence. Chloe told him that she should go back to her own apartment now as now she had no reason to stay with him in his house but Dylan simply denied her by telling her that she had no one in her apartment who would take care of her and she needed to be taken care of as she was still really very weak after what happened to her. Dylan helped her sitting on the bed. He placed some pillows behind her and then leaned her back against it. Chloe just gazed at him. Her heart ached, realising he was still caring for her well-being after what she had done to him. If it would have been anyone else in place of him, that person would have done so much worse to her after her wrong doings but Dylan didn't even raise a question at her, let alone hurting or humiliating her. His heart was really very beautiful and tender from the very beginning. The biggest reason she s
"I will beg to Dylan and Chloe for their forgiveness,"Hearing those words from his mouth, Zia turned startled. She slowly opened her eyes. Pulling herself back, she stared at him in astonishment with her glossy eyes. Wrapping his hands over her warm cheeks, he tenderly muttered."I will do everything to lessen your pain, mi vida….. even if it means to beg them for their forgiveness after what I have done to both of them," there was no lie which could be detected in his words or eyes. She could clearly see the sincerity and honesty in his gaze because for her, he could do anything….any single thing and it didn't matter to him what he would have to do for her and her happiness. Her heart swelled up with more love for him. This man was really her being, her soul, her heart. The things he had done and was capable of doing for her…..no one had ever done it for her whether loving her like an insane or ruining her in that same love of his. Each and every emotion of his belonged to her. He
"How is Dylan now?" Zale asked Reid as Reid had just gotten done talking with his wife, Larisa on a call. Larisa was staying with Dylan and Chloe in the hospital. "He is fine and has gotten back his consciousness," Reid answered, earning a nod from Zale. They all were waiting in the hall because they wanted to give Zia and Damien their privacy. Zale trailed his eyes at Cia who was sitting on a sofa. Her head was hung low. Zale sighed and walked towards her. He kneeled in front of her and placed his palms over her knees. "Have trust in our child, Cia. Everything will turn alright," Cia exhaled a heavy breath, hearing Zale. She looked at him and gently nodded her head. She was about to say something to him but stopped when she saw Zia and Damien entering the hall. "Zia," Cia said and hurriedly got up, followed by Zale. Everyone darted their eyes at the couple entering the hall. Zale and Cia walked towards them and before they could ask them anything, they got their answer by wa
PRESENT TIME"Zale told me that Damien wanted to get trained like him and wanted to work with him. I, as his father, was not ready accept it because I knew the risk and danger involved in it but Damien was adamant and like always, he didn't bother to listen to me and I understood, if I continued to deny him every time, it would make him hate me even more which I didn't want, so I reluctantly ended up agreeing to Damien's request which he made to Zale," Reid said and then looked at Zale."And Zale assured me that during the beginning days of his training, he was himself going to train Damien under his supervision, so less harm would reach him. It gave me a bit of relief because I trusted Zale and then his training began. Everything was going normal and I thought that Damien had forgotten about Zia because he never took her name in front of anyone after he left this country. I had told his uncle to keep an eye on him and he continued to inform me that Damien never took Zia's name even m
