"Let's go inside, Zia. Mom will be so happy to see you," Riley uttered, opening the passenger seat's door of Zia's car. After getting done with their classes, Zia dropped Riley to her home.
"Sorry, Rey but I am going to meet Dylan so I will meet aunty in the evening at the party," she flashed her an apologetic smile. Riley nodded in understanding.
"Fine, I will see you in the evening at your birthday party. See ya…" Riley said, earning a nod from Zia.
Riley waved at her after getting out of the car and then Zia drove away.
She stopped her car in front of Karlson's Company because Zia decided to surprise Dylan with her presence in his workplace. She was habitual of doing it as she had surprised him like that before many times.
Opening her car's door, she stepped out of it. She was about to walk inside the building but stopped when she remembered something. She again twirled around and opened her car's door.
She grabbed the red rose which she had bought for him on her way to his company. Dylan loved red roses so whenever she met him, she gave him a red rose which made him so happy.
She was smiling at that rose when that figure walked out of the building's main gate but she didn't not notice it. Zia got out of her car and shut the door. She turned around to enter the premises when her eyes unintentionally trailed at her left where she saw three men walking away. Their backs were facing her so she couldn't see their faces but the one who was walking ahead of the other two was looking really very tall. She assumed the tall one was the boss and the other two were his guards. They all were dressed up in formal clothes. What else she had expected to see in a working place… people in funky clothes? She scoffed at her own thoughts and then jogged inside the gate.
The guards bowed at her and greeted her because they all had gotten familiar with her by now. The receptionist told her that Dylan was in his cabin and he was free now, so Zia straight went to his cabin.
Zia was walking towards his cabin but her feet halted when she saw the last person she wanted to see on earth….Chloe Lockwood….his personal secretary. She was coming out of his cabin which made her fist tighten but she didn't let it show on her face and again started walking.
Both the girls stood in front of each other and somehow the displeasure they both felt for each other was evident in their presences but none of them let it overpower them.
"Is Dylan inside?" Zia asked her to which Chloe nodded and then attempted to leave but Zia's question stopped her in her tracks.
"Didn't you inform him about my call, Miss Lockwood?"
Chloe tilted her head and simply answered.
"I apologise. I forgot to tell Mr Karlson about your call, Miss Alcazar,"
The corner of Zia's lips slightly tugged upward at her words.
"It's okay. He didn't forget to call me back even when you forgot to tell him about my call," Zia knew exactly where her words were hitting Chloe and that was what she exactly wanted. Chloe didn't utter a single word.
Zia stepped a bit closer to her.
"But don't make it a habit and next time, don't forget to tell him about his relevant things, especially those things which are related to me….okay, Miss Lockwood? Because that is what you're here for," she spat at her and then walked past her whereas Chloe just gazed at her disappearing figure vanishing inside his cabin.
"Hey handsome…" Zia said, enthusiastically by watching Dylan sitting on his chair. Her voice made him look up from the papers on the desk and a smile immediately replaced his scowl but Zia was quick enough to notice it.
She stepped inside the cabin whereas he stood up from his chair.
"Is everything alright, Dylan? You looked worried?" She asked him, concerned. Dylan sighed before walking closer to her. He pulled her into a gentle hug and kissed her head.
"You don't need to worry about it, Zia," he smiled at her but it didn't buy her.
"I know I don't but you also know that you can share any problem with me, so now tell me…what's bothering you?" She questioned him, strictly. Dylan chuckled and that was what made her more special for him. She never forgot to care for him like a true friend. She was just not only the love of his life but his caring well-wisher and best friend too.
He held her palm and dragged her towards the sofa inside that cabin. Dylan sat on that sofa and made her sit on his lap. He looked into her beautiful sapphire eyes which were waiting for his answer. Dylan suspired before opening his mouth.
"It's about my elder brother, Damien,"
"Your elder brother? But doesn't he live outside the country?" Her brows arched in untidiness. Dylan nodded.
"Yes he does but he has come here suddenly and I don't even know why?"
Zia noticed the displeased emotion in his caramel brown eyes.
"But isn't it a good thing your brother has finally come back home after living in another country for almost 2 decades?"
Dylan again exhaled heavily at her question.
"For normal siblings but not us?"
His answer filled her head with more confusion. Dylan chuckled at her adorable reaction and pecked her cheeks.
"It's a bit complicated. Me and Damien don't share a very good bond, in fact there is no bond between us at all from the start. He doesn't like me and somehow the feelings are mutual," he tried to clear her confusion.
"But ain't every sibling fight during their childhood days but it doesn't mean they continue to despise each other even after growing mature?"
Dylan again sniggered but there was no humour behind his laugh.
"But I guess no sibling tries to kill each other even when they are just kids?"
Her gaze bewildered processing the meaning behind his words.
"When I was just 3 and Damien was like 7 years old, he attempted to harm me many times like throwing me from the bed and stairs, hurling a knife at me, continuously fighting with me,"
Her eyes widened hearing him.
"Our parents tried to ignore his actions because Damien was a bit different from other children of his age. He didn't like going out or playing with other kids or getting associated with other people. He barely used to talk even with our mom and dad and because of his unusual behaviour, dad even took him to several doctors but his behaviour never changed, in fact he turned more aggressive and short tempered with the passing time, especially towards me and one day, he crossed his limits," Dylan paused whereas she waited for him to complete the story.
"Damien threw me in our penthouse's swimming pool when I was just 3 and let me drown there and it was just because of a house maid who saw him pushing me in the pool, I got saved and that day, our parents took a very big decision of sending Damien away from home to another country at one of my uncle's house because his growing disliking towards me was turning really very irrational and unendurable so mom and dad sent him away and he started living with my uncle in another country and grew up there. Dad called him back several times after he completed his studies there. He even told Damien that he wanted to make him the next CEO of Karlson's as he is the elder one among both of us but he never agreed to come back and lived there almost for 20 years until today and I don't even know why he has come back all of a sudden,"
She silently heard the entire story about his elder brother whose name only she had heard from Dylan's mouth a couple of times before but never felt the necessity to find more about him until today.
"Don't mind me, Dylan but your brother seems psycho," she blurted out, making Dylan laugh.
"He is not a psycho but yeah….he has really very bad temper issues more worse than yours," Dylan bumped his forehead against her. She scoffed.
"I am not like him because even in my anger, I can never even imagine killing someone," she defended herself. Dylan gave a peck on her nose bridge.
"You don't even need to be like him because I don't want a person like him to even be near your presence who can go to any extent to harm someone," Dylan said, earning a smile from her.
Hey...by the way, where is my rose today? Did you forget it?" He faked a saddened expression. She giggled before extending the rose to him.
"I am not like you, Mr Karlson who has even forgotten to wish me my birthday," she puckered up her lips, even after knowing Dylan was the first person to wish her on a call last night at sharp 12 a.m.. he always wished her first.
Dylan grinned before pecking her tiny pout.
"I apologise with the depth of my heart, Miss Alcazar. Your any punishment is acceptable,"he muttered against her face while cupping her cheeks.
She tittered before straddling him and surrounding her arms around his neck.
"Fine then give me a birthday kiss,"
Dylan chuckled before pressing his lips against hers. She immediately reciprocated his action, causing their tongues to collide. They both devoured their mouths softly and gently.
"Happy birthday, my favourite and I love you,"he whispered after pulling back. She smiled alluringly and pecked his lips.
"I love you too,"
They both grinned ear to ear and then she hugged him.
"You know I am so excited for my tonight's birthday party because finally we don't have to hide our relationship from anyone as my mum and dad accepted us," she uttered in his ear because Zia and Dylan were dating each other from the last 2 years but she never told about this to her parents because she wanted Dylan to settle down first and wanted to grow figure out everything herself and when she finally did, she talked to her parents about their relationship today in the morning and like she had expected, her parents accepted their relationship because Dylan's and hers family were really close to each other and her parents knew about Dylan very well too as they both had grown up together from their childhood.
Dylan planted a gentle kiss on her ear and hugged her tightly but the sound of her phone message notification made them pull apart.
"It's my mum's message. She is asking where I am as she knew my classes had already ended an hour ago," she told him, staring at her phone.
"Okay I have to leave now," she got down from his lap and stood up on her feet. Dylan followed her action of standing up too.
"Bye bye. I will see you and uncle aunty in the evening, okay?" She embraced him. Dylan pecked her hair and nodded.
"Take care and drive safely," he said, beaming.
She flashed him a smile before dashing out of his cabin and he just stared at her disappearing figure with a content smile on his face.
"This dress is so beautiful, dad. Thank you so much for this," Zia spoke to her father while hugging him. She wore her birthday dress which her parents gifted her as another present for her birthday."It's looking beautiful because my Zia has worn it," her father, Zale, said to her with a smile after pulling back from their hug. She was her dad's princess and her father considered her as the biggest blessing of his life. He believed in fulfilling her every wish and happiness before she could even ask for it."Okay, I am going to greet the guests with your dad," her mother, Cia, told her, who was there to help her in getting ready for her birthday party along with her aunt Violet and friend Riley. Zia bobbed her head in response to her mother."I am coming too. You both finish doing your hair, then come out, okay?" Zia's aunt, Violet, uttered to both Zia and her friend Riley and then she and Zia's parents left from Zia's room, leaving the two best friends alone. Her parents and aunt we
"And this is our top floor," Zia said to him. She was giving him a tour of her house for the past 10 minutes and finally they reached the highest floor of the manor. She stretched her head to look at him but like usual there was no expression in his eyes which were on her and not a single word came from his mouth. She was with him for more than 10 minutes now but she didn't hear him speaking even for once and that thing made her conclude that he couldn't speak but if that was the case then Dylan or her dad must have told her so he could speak then why he was not talking to her but just staring at her like that…yeah…that weird creature didn't even try to hide the fact he was staring at her because everytime she looked at him, she caught him gazing at her. He didn't even feel hesitant to make it so obvious. How rude and disrespectful? But she sighed and decided to end that tour as soon as possible because that weird creature was giving her unusual vibes which she didn't like."There's
Storming back inside the party after her encounter with him at that balcony, Zia got bumped with Riley. "You're finally here. Where were you for almost half an hour? Your parents were looking for you, Zi…" Riley halted by witnessing that frown on Zia's face. "Zia, what's wrong?" Zia opened her mouth to answer but stopped when her gaze fell on that green eyes creature entering into the hall again. His eyes were already on her which made her grit her teeth. Confused, Riley followed Zia's angry glare's direction and saw that man which widened her eyes. "Hey! Zia, look. It was that handsome man about whom I was talking about," Zia's scowl deepened hearing Riley's words, especially after understanding to whom she was referring. She clenched her jaw. "From which angle he is looking handsome to you, Riley?" Zia spat at her friend. Riley gave her a stunned look before answering. "From each and every angle," Riley's answer bursted out the volcano inside Zia but Riley didn't understand
Clad in a skin fit off shoulder top and ankle length jeans, she was combing her light brown hair. "Perfect," she dropped the comb and took a glance at her in the mirror in front of her. Her pale face wore no layer of makeup but just a rosy lip tint which enhanced her plumpy lips even more. Her open hair had a natural bounce and a wavy look. She took a look in her wrist watch and her eyes widened. It was already 8. She was getting late for dinner with Dylan and his family. Grabbing her car keys and crop jacket from the bed, she ran out of her room.It took her almost half an hour to reach Dylan's home. She parked her car in front of his villa and immediately a guard came and opened the door for her. "Good evening, Miss Alcazar," he greeted her with a gentle bow. She smiled and greeted him back and then stepped inside the house."Look who is finally here. Our Alcazar princess,"Zia giggled hearing Dylan's father, Reid Karlson, who always used to treat her like his own child from her c
For a hot second, Zia felt like her heart skipped a beat just by looking into those verdant eyes of his but she shook herself and stepped back, creating the rational distance between their bodies. He didn't say anything but just gazed at her every action thoroughly. "What happened to you?" She asked him, concerned but in return saw him tossing his head and looked at his car which had gotten bumped against that streetlight's post. She slightly narrowed her eyes at him when he again turned around to look at her because she understood he was making fun of her question. "I mean…how did this happen?" She uttered, irritated a bit. His lips twitched into an almost invisible grin but her gaze was sharp enough to watch it. "Maybe because this town doesn't like my presence in it that well, including its streets and people," he answered, surpassing his grin. Zia's jaw set at his answer because she knew exactly what he meant by his words. "Then I guess you should leave this town before it e
He touched her for the very first time and it made her feel so many things and they were so terrifying that it scared her. The shipping of their skins felt nefariously igniting.Damien grabbed her wrist in a gentle hold and started pulling her closer. To her own surprise, she followed him with no defiance like her body had become his slave and her defier. After removing the sane distance between them, she took her watery eyes up where Damien saw a warm fat tear trickling down her slightly pink cheeks which faded his anger. His gaze softened as he saw those beautiful sapphire eyes glistening with tears because he considered those eyes as his entire life. In those crystalline blue orbs, he believed his entire life was living.More tears started falling from her eyes as she saw him staring at her like that, like she was the most relevant person of his life. Nobody had even looked at her like that, not even Dylan. No stare had ever made her feel so needed the way his gaze was making her f
The growling sound of the clouds roaring and heavy rainfall was turning everything more passionate and sinful between those bare shipping bodies. Her arms were holding his naked back whereas her nails were scratching his skin harshly everytime she felt him hitting her on her pleasure point. Her azure eyes were shimmering with tears of ecstasy which were gazing into those alluringly darkened green eyes of his which were hovering over her. "Aah…please," she whimpered in pleasure when he deepened the penetration more by lifting her waist a bit and increased his pace more. Tears started rolling down from the corner of her eyes as she felt herself losing in him. It was feeling so beautiful, so alluring the way he was ruining her. She wrapped her legs around his waist and tangled her fingers in between his hair. Her warm and sensitive walls clenched around his hardened and thick girth, causing him to swell up more inside her. She was him clenching his jaw as he rutted her mercilessly w
Zia continued to stare into these emerald eyes with that question roaming all over her mind that why he was here. The flashes of what had happened between them in his penthouse and in her dream immediately started coming in her mind which made her heart beat more rapidly. "Can't it wait for sometime? Damien and I are conversing over something very important?" Her father's voice took her out of her thoughts. She looked at her father and answered. "I won't take much of your time. Just a couple of minutes," Zia didn't even recognise how desperate she was sounding right at this moment. She just knew that she had to do whatever it took to get away even from that man's shadow and who knew, with what purpose he was there so she decided to talk to her parents with no further delay. "It's okay. I will wait outside, Mr Alcazar," She heard his deep hoarse voice uttering to her father which tightened something inside her. Her father, Zale, nodded at Damien, causing him to get up on his feet.
"No, mum. Me and Damien, we both are fine. Don't worry about it but that little girl….." Zia's voice shivered. She was talking to her mother, Cia, who had turned extremely worried about them after hearing about her accident near thar park. "No, mum. Please tell dad that I am fine and he and you don't have to come here. You take care of dad's health. Me, Damien, Dylan and Leo are here in the hospital with that girl," Zia stated as her parents wanted to come there to the hospital but she was stopping them because her father's health was not well too. "You take care of dad. We all will handle everything here….okay, I will continue to update you about here, bye bye ...." Zia hung up the call. With a sigh, she walked towards the operation theatre. Damien and Dylan were standing outside the operation theatre whereas Leo was talking on a phone. All of their faces had worn a tense reaction, especially Damien's as the operation of that girl was going on for almost an hour now. "Damien, any
"Congratulations, my baby. I am so so proud of you, Zia uttered, hugging her son. Her happiness knew no boundaries today. Her son had finally passed his high school. Though his grades were very low, he still managed to pass his high school finally. "I am so happy for you," Pulling back, Zia pecked her son's forehead. A smile appeared on Zian's face, witnessing his mother's happiness, and then he trailed his light blue eyes at his father. Damien walked towards them and looked at his 18 years old son. Day by day, he had started looking just like him. From his aura to his physical appearance, his son had inherited every trait of his, except his eyes. His eyes were the exact reflection of his mother's sapphire orbs with the only difference that….his mother's eyes always looked like they had a beautiful warmth but their son's seemed to have an icy coldness in them just like his dad's. Damien placed his palm over his son's shoulder and patted it. "Congratulations for passing your high sc
"We will embrace your fear together, mi vida," he halted her. Zia just stared at him. He cupped her face a little firmly."We will try our best to win against your fear if you want," he assured her. "Are you happy about it?" She asked him, sincerely. A smile formed on his face at her question. Damien put a kiss on her forehead before answering."You can't even imagine how much, but for me your happiness matters the most," Once again, her heart fell head over heels for this man. His love was a kind of feeling which held the power of overpowering all kinds of her feelings and emotions, including her fear.Zia caged him tightly and amiably whispered."I love you so much, mi vida," Damien beamed warmly before embracing her lovingly in his arms and answering."I love you more, mi vida,"………………Gentle waves of air were blowing. The swing was gently moving. The birds were chirping. The sun was shining beautifully in the light blue sky. A smile was playing over her lips as she was staring
"Yum….the food smells delicious, hubby," Damien chuckled, hearing his wife who was sitting on the countertop of their kitchen. He was cooking her favourite dishes as her final exams of her last year in college had just ended today. Yes…….. it had been almost one year since he had gotten this beautiful human as his wife. It had been almost one year, they both had gotten tied in that alluring bond of marriage. Their family bonding had even turned better in this one year. Damien had finally started opening up to his family wholeheartedly. They both still lived in their own home like they used to do before, but now at least for once, they both visited the Karlson family in a week. Damien had chosen to stay away from the public eyes and limelight in every possible way so he refused to be the part of Karlson's business and corporations which everyone respected and accepted. Slowly and slowly, everything had started falling back to its right track. Her mouth watered when she saw him putti
Chloe lowered her eyes and then wiped her cheeks. Zia's heart clenched as she saw her vulnerable state. Despite everything, they all somehow received something beautiful but that poor girl lost everything in all of this. Zia was never a fan of Chloe but now when she had started understanding people, she noticed that it was not always about whom you liked or not….the most important and relevant thing was that a human must feel humanity towards another human.Exhaling a soft breath, she walked towards Chloe. Zia sat beside her and then wrapped her arms around her face. She gently turned her face towards her and saw her swollen reddened eyes which were still shedding tears because Chloe knew that at this point, she had nothing to hold onto. Zia's heart ached and felt extremely bad for her.Gently wiping her eyes with her thumbs, she spoke."I should also apologise to you, Chloe," Chloe just stared at her silently."Because I was the one who never tried to behave humanly towards you. I
"Take your steps carefully," Dylan uttered to Chloe. He was helping her walk to the bed. They both had gotten back to the Karlson residence. Chloe told him that she should go back to her own apartment now as now she had no reason to stay with him in his house but Dylan simply denied her by telling her that she had no one in her apartment who would take care of her and she needed to be taken care of as she was still really very weak after what happened to her. Dylan helped her sitting on the bed. He placed some pillows behind her and then leaned her back against it. Chloe just gazed at him. Her heart ached, realising he was still caring for her well-being after what she had done to him. If it would have been anyone else in place of him, that person would have done so much worse to her after her wrong doings but Dylan didn't even raise a question at her, let alone hurting or humiliating her. His heart was really very beautiful and tender from the very beginning. The biggest reason she s
"I will beg to Dylan and Chloe for their forgiveness,"Hearing those words from his mouth, Zia turned startled. She slowly opened her eyes. Pulling herself back, she stared at him in astonishment with her glossy eyes. Wrapping his hands over her warm cheeks, he tenderly muttered."I will do everything to lessen your pain, mi vida….. even if it means to beg them for their forgiveness after what I have done to both of them," there was no lie which could be detected in his words or eyes. She could clearly see the sincerity and honesty in his gaze because for her, he could do anything….any single thing and it didn't matter to him what he would have to do for her and her happiness. Her heart swelled up with more love for him. This man was really her being, her soul, her heart. The things he had done and was capable of doing for her…..no one had ever done it for her whether loving her like an insane or ruining her in that same love of his. Each and every emotion of his belonged to her. He
"How is Dylan now?" Zale asked Reid as Reid had just gotten done talking with his wife, Larisa on a call. Larisa was staying with Dylan and Chloe in the hospital. "He is fine and has gotten back his consciousness," Reid answered, earning a nod from Zale. They all were waiting in the hall because they wanted to give Zia and Damien their privacy. Zale trailed his eyes at Cia who was sitting on a sofa. Her head was hung low. Zale sighed and walked towards her. He kneeled in front of her and placed his palms over her knees. "Have trust in our child, Cia. Everything will turn alright," Cia exhaled a heavy breath, hearing Zale. She looked at him and gently nodded her head. She was about to say something to him but stopped when she saw Zia and Damien entering the hall. "Zia," Cia said and hurriedly got up, followed by Zale. Everyone darted their eyes at the couple entering the hall. Zale and Cia walked towards them and before they could ask them anything, they got their answer by wa
PRESENT TIME"Zale told me that Damien wanted to get trained like him and wanted to work with him. I, as his father, was not ready accept it because I knew the risk and danger involved in it but Damien was adamant and like always, he didn't bother to listen to me and I understood, if I continued to deny him every time, it would make him hate me even more which I didn't want, so I reluctantly ended up agreeing to Damien's request which he made to Zale," Reid said and then looked at Zale."And Zale assured me that during the beginning days of his training, he was himself going to train Damien under his supervision, so less harm would reach him. It gave me a bit of relief because I trusted Zale and then his training began. Everything was going normal and I thought that Damien had forgotten about Zia because he never took her name in front of anyone after he left this country. I had told his uncle to keep an eye on him and he continued to inform me that Damien never took Zia's name even m
