Emma's PoV

"Emma, table no. 10 and 13." I hear someone in this hustle and bustle. I don't bother to look at who that 'someone' is. I quickly clean the table and move to take the orders.

"What would you like to have, Sir." I speak with my pen and notepad ready, making sure that politeness is evident in my voice.

"The special cheeseburger and I want extra cheese. Plus a diet coke." He says and I quickly note it down.

"Extra cheese." He says again, emphasizing on both the words.

"Ofcourse, Sir." I speak looking at his face.

I quickly move to the other table.

"Your order, Mam?" I ask the old lady sitting in front of me.

"I need a cheese burst pizza, no olives and one large chocolate milk shake." The old lady says.

"Extra cheese in pizza and I need vanilla ice cream in my shake."

"Okay."

I walk to the kitchen, pass the orders and move back to clean the rest of the tables.

I look at my watch, just fifteen more minutes and my shift is over.

"I want that blood no matter what!" I hear someone yelling which makes the place go silent.

'This someone is undoubtedly a stupid vampire.'

These vampires! What's the point of drinking a specific blood type? Isn't the taste of all is same?

I keep doing my work as it's their job to make chaos wherever they go. I've never seen a single day here, when vampires don't shout or throw things all over.

"I apologize for the inconvenience, but we are currently out of O+ blood."

It's Bella.

I promptly turn around to see what's happening.

Two vampires are sitting on the chair, looking at Bella with their Blue Eyes full of rage.

Blue Eyes. Artificial vampire.

'It's a relief they aren't red.'

Well, Red eyes are the sign of being pure-blooded. And there's a huge difference between the two.

Just for the knowledge, Artificial or non-pure blooded vampires were humans before they were converted into vampires after they died. Surely, they are more powerful than humans... but not than us.

By us I mean we, Mixed Martial Artists.

When I was like six years old, my parents sent me to the only training Club of our town. The club was very popular because of its owner, who was our trainer as well.

And he was so fast, powerful and clever that he once killed a pure blooded vampire, which is equivalent to an impossible event to come true.

I met Bella there for the first time. I can never forget the moment when she bit the guy's precious thing while they were fighting. She was too small at that time but thankfully the guy and his thing weren't seriously harmed.

But soon after the death of our almighty trainer, the club was destroyed by the vampires.

'They've always been so ruthless.'

But no one can change the fact that the artificial vampires can't stand us. They are slightly faster and stronger than us, but that's no big deal.

We have tricks to finish them.

And the pure-blooded ones....they are invincible. Their strengths and powers are absolutely inhuman.

As much as I despise this statement, but it is true that no one can stand against them.

"Really?" I was popped out of my thoughts. One of them speaks by standing up.

"Then we'll drink from you." The vampire says before rashly throwing the table aside, which was distancing Bella and her.

She jumps in Bella's direction, but Bella quickly moves aside and kicks on her already-floating back, causing her to fall on the ground.

I hear laughs, including mine and gasps dancing all around. The vampire groans in pain.

The second vampire stands up from her seat, she hastily turns Bella around and throws a tight slap on her face.

'What the fuck?'

I threw the cleaning cloth and ran towards that Vampire. I threw a sturdy punch on her face.

She shows me her fangs. It's a sign of pure rage.

She jumps on me, causing both of us to fall on the ground.

I'm sandwiched between her and the ground. Her hands around my neck, squeezing it hard.

I harshly pull her hair from the right side, to get out of her grip. She leaves my neck and her hands travel straight to my hand, trying to untangle it from her hair. 'You can't bitch.'

Without wasting any time, I push her on the ground and sit on her belly.

"My turn." I said before throwing punches on her face and neck.

"STOP! STOP!" I hear our manager shouting from a distance.

But I didn't stop.

How can I leave the opportunity to punch a vampire?

"EMMA! BELLA! I SAID STOPPP!" Manager again.

This time I stopped.

I feel my knuckles full of some icy cold liquid. Her blood.

I get up from the vampire and smoothen out my hair and dress.

I look around, the cafe is almost empty with a few people looking in our direction as if they've seen a real Annabelle.

My gaze moves to Bella, she's holding a broken chair and the other vampire is too, lying on the ground.

A laugh escaped my mouth.

"Both of you are FIRED!!" Manager shouts at us.

"Are you kidding me?" I spat involuntarily

"They were the first to attack." Bella said. This is so unfair.

"Get out of my cafe." He shouts again.

'Great.'

"Like we are dying to work here." She spats just after two seconds.

And without waiting for his reply, she held my hand and we headed out.

Oh man, I can't believe this. It was my second job in which I got fired by a vampire. But those two needed it.

It's not like I have utmost hatred for them in my heart. I just can't stand something cruel or unjust.

Just like we humans, which have numerous types of people...nice, sweet, short-tempered, assholes, dangerous, loveable...vampire species are exactly the same.

But with the only difference, most of them are filled with pride and arrogance.

"Now what?" I speak in annoyance by tapping my feet.
