Chapter 2

“ Maamm we are here” the driver said , walking up the sleepy Kate.

“ mamm, mam walk up we are here” shaking her “ hmmm ok am awake please no more shaking pls” she said opening her eyes, stretching her body.

“Hmm” he said going over to the back of the car booth bringing out are bags. Kate blinked staring at the building in front of her,

“ wow” coming out of the car, “ here your bags” “ uh humm thanks”. He nod head and drove off.

I walked to the front of the building, staring at the top of the building “ROYAL ACADEMY”. A car honked beep beep “ quit staring and move out of the way” the driver shouted. “ shit sorry” she shouted back.

Walking into the building, the entrance is so beautiful and elegant, it is painted with a dark blue and red color, the reception office is by side and other side lead down the hall.

Walking up to the reception office, a lady in deep green and white was behind the desk

“ hello” Kate said, the lady Behind the computer “ hello, welcome to Royal academy, how may I be of help”.

“ I am a fresher” “ oh yes, take this it your schedule and drop your bag over there and walk down the hall by your left that well the rest of the fresher are” she said pointing down the hall.

“ thank you” “you welcome smiling at her before resuming back to work.

Kate dropped her bag where the receptionist pointed and went down the hall and enter where the receptionist said

The hall was filled with different people, Kate went to the back to find seat but couldn’t find one. “ Hey” someone from the back waved her hand, is she talking to me, I looked back to check whether she talking to someone else but I see no body. I went to where the lady was seating, she a pale in skin color with a Raven curly hair “ Hi, my name is Annabel, what yours”  seating to close to me. “ ugh Anna pls give a breathing space” a guy with a dark brown hair with freckles on his face. She pouted giving me space, he just rolled his eyes “ don’t mind her she always this bubbling, name is Jack” “ yea, mine is Katherine but my family call me Kate”. “ hmm I feel that we are goanna be best if friend” Annabel said dreamy. Jack shakes his head, I chuckled.

A woman who seems to be in her 40s wearing a chiffon top and a dark blue skirt came with 3 men and 2 female. The hall became silent, the woman with the chiffon top and deep blue walked to the podium.

“ Good afternoon Fresher’s, my name is Michelle Rickson, am your supervisor  “ Good afternoon” they murmured.

“I welcome you to Royal academy, it nice seeing new faces. You are to obey the rule and regulations of the school, if you caught sneaking out you be punished. Your uniform and book will be in your room, no girl should go the boys hostel vise versa. Any information will be passed into you, any question”

The hall was so silent “ well I guess no one, those people standing behind me are your instructor who will take your dorm” “it up to you” nodded at the instructor behind. “Can you all rise up, girl in one and boys in the other line and line up in 20 in an orderly manner”

They all stood and line up and followed their instructor to their dorm.

Kate pov

“This is your room” the instructor said. “thank you” entering into the room.

The room is painted with lemon color, there are four bed and separate wardrobe with table and chair and our name is written by the bed post

 I sighed went to bed written with my name dropping my bag and went to the wardrobe, where my uniform needed for school are there, closing the wardrobe there is door adjacent which is the bathroom. I sat on my bed, taking my phone from the bag and called mum “ hey, mum” “ how are you doing honey” “good I guess just entered my room, what about dad and my brothers” “ they are in the sitting room” “ hey richard, Kate is asking about you and the boys” she shouted. “ hey baby, how are you, hope the journey wasn’t stressful……… yea,” dad and my brothers shouted in a distance.

“ well I guess they in front of the TV, watching football” saying flatly

“ Yea baby” my mum said.

The door opened, “ ok mum I call you later”. “ bye honey”. I looked up and saw a girl with a curly hair with freckles all over her face and glasses

“hey” “Hi, name is Abigail” she said walking to her bed. “hmmm”, then the door opened again

A head with more tighter curl than Abigail came through the door then the face came in and the whole body, she turned around.

“Annabel” I said,. “Kkkkkkkkkaaaaaaaattttttttteeeee” she shouted running up to me.  I chuckled.   “you see i told you we will be best of friends” she said bubbling, shaking her curly hair.

She wanted to say something, but she stopped when she say another person in the room. She walked up to her “Hey, Annabel” bringing out her hand to shake her.

“Hey, Abigail” she replied shaking Annabel hand, “nice name” she said.  “yea” Abigail answered

The bell rang “fresher you are to come down to the cafeteria for supper” a voice said from the speaker.

“Ugh, finally am damn starving” “hmmm let go” Annabel said linking her with mine and Abigail oooo. Who was staring at wearying.

“ Those be mad, she always like this, well since her know today”

“enough talking baby, let go” Annabel said walking out, dragging us along at of the door.
