Episode 3

Olivia

I stopped and walked towards the door but the banging became so loud and unbearable.

" Whom could it be ?" I hummed, checking through the door hole

Oh my goodness

What's she doing here again?

" Good evening ma'am" I greeted shyly as I opened the door.

" Don't greet me, when is your payday ?" She shunned and asks sternly.

" Tomorrow is my payday and you'll the first person to get it" I fiddled with my fingers nervously.

" I just came to warn you," She said plainly when she heard this.

" Thanks so much" I bowed and she sashayed away.

I fall helplessly on the bed after the conversation

Tomorrow is another day, I drifted into a deep sleep.

Ryan

"Tell me Saiba" I urge with a wink.

" What?" She half yelled, as she moves her head unsteadily.

" Did you sl.…" I stopped noticing her glare.

" Continue" She ordered but I didn't say anything and ruffled my hands on her wavy hair.

I stood upon hearing the beep beep sound that was coming from my phone.

I picked it up trying not to bring up suspicion and I tottered into the bathroom.

The message I received was a picture of Saiba kissing Someone, I zoom in on the photo to check who it was but unfortunately, the face isn't clear

" I'll get to the root of this" I whispered to myself.

"Are you having a shower?" She asks loudly and I quickly shrug?

I sprinkled the water on my face and pretended like I was doing something.

I smile at getting out and pulled her into a hug but still bothered about what I saw.

Olivia

I woke up around midnight to reset the alarm since I'll be having my shift around 9:00 am.

I itched my eyes on seeing the alarm and was confused at the time.

"I still have much time to sleep" I rasped with a quiet smile on seeing it was 6:35 am.

I fall back to the bed and drift into a second round.

Far from there

I picked the alarm tiredly and stare at the tick but it was still 6:35, don't tell me I didn't sleep at all or was I dreaming.

Suddenly my hands touched something watery at the back of the alarm, I quickly turned it and check it.

Holly molly

The battery is out

I'm doom

I sprang out of the bed, confused about what to do whilst ransacking through the table for my phone.

My head rang like the Korean historical drum when I set my eyes on the time showing on my screen.

9:23!

I knew it, I know I'm unlucky.

I dash into the bathroom and pour just two bowls of water on my body and slam the door on getting out.

I did everything hastily, wearing blue jeans and a flappy jacket.

I didn't even have the time to park my hair or check out what I was wearing. I picked up my bag and scurried out of the house while panting heavily.

" Did I pick the key?" I ask rhetorically, searching my bag and praying earnestly it's going to be in there.

Unlucky me.

I entered the hotel while grinning at everyone I saw, I would believe I'm lucky if the boss isn't around.. mark that.

" Thank your creator" It was Ava's voice and I turned to her, curious about what she said.

" I don't understand you" I countered, exhaling deeply and hold my waist.

" The boss isn't around" She squealed, jumping up happily.

I was damn happy and held her hand and we jumped together, I wasn't unlucky after all.

" Let me get to work" I stopped immediately and I tweak her nose before scurrying away.

5 hours later

I've been going helter scatter since I started working not having any inch of rest.

"Go and attend to Room 507 and come to the worker's room when you're done" My co-worker ordered giggling at the way she sounded bossy.

" Yes ma'am" I teased and headed upstairs.

My heart was beating faster, just thinking of my salary and I picked up the cleaning tools.

"Cleaning service is here," I said to the mic on the door and it sprawled open immediately, I gasp shockingly.

" I'm glad it's you," The man said with a smirk and I smiled back because I believe he was joking.

" I don't think there's any need for cleaning" I replied relaxedly and I hold my waist while staring around.

"The duvet is itchy" He whined childishly and I burst into laughter before moving to the bed.

He sat on the sofa beside the bed and I packed the duvet into the wardrobe and brought out a new one.

I was laying on the duvet as I felt a touch around my waist.

"Another man whore" I muttered to myself.

"You shouldn't be like this," I said playfully trying to cajole him into getting off me but he pulled closer.

I jumped off the bed, falling to the ground whilst battling with my lashes.

I'm screwed

He pounced on me heavily like I was his prey ready to eat me.

Suddenly the real me I've been hiding forcefully came out as it has had enough of all this nonsense treatment and my gaze fell on the beer bottle.

He was busy engaging himself to get me naked, I pick up the bottle and smashed it on his head without thinking twice.

Blood splatters on my face and he cried in pain he should be thankful he didn't die.

Suddenly the door sprawled open as if they've been watching everything all along.

What if they have?

"You're such a pesky bitch" My boss ticked my head's backward, they helped him stand up but he didn't stop groaning in pain when they walked out of the room.

I tried packing up the broken bottles but he held my hand tightly and dragged me outside

" You're fired" He blurted out leaving me flustered.

" It wasn't my fault" I challenged bluntly.

" No more words!" He yelled making me flinch.

I can't get fired when it's just a matter of time to get my salary.

"Please forgive me, I need my money" I pleaded.

" Of course you'll get paid but you'll also pay for the damage that you did to our customer" He taunted and I felt the urge to slap him but stopped myself.

I kept quiet and followed him to his office, at least I'll get paid.

" Take it from me!" He yelled and gave me an envelope.

" Thank you, thank you" I squealed and smiled happily. I opened the envelope.

What?, How much is this?

This money is equal to nothing.

I glare at him while holding up the envelope.

" My money isn't complete," I said bluntly not caring anymore.

" 15k is what you deserve," He said and I didn't know when I landed a slap on his face.

" This is unfair" I shrieked and tears begin to stream down my cheeks.

" If not that I don't want .."

" Touch me! touch me, you crazy man!" I screamed on top of my voice.

" You'll pay for this!" I threatened like I have someone backing me up as I scurried out of his office.

The people standing outside stared at me pitifully when I walked out of the room and made my way to the dressing room.

" Don't think about it Oli.." I cut the consoler off by holding my hands up and I changed into my dress.

" My creator will fight back if I don't!" I screamed in tears as I strolled out of the hotel.

The thought of all the bills I owed left my heart aching as more tears gushed out of my eyes.

I'm glad it's night, not many people will see me anyway.

" Give me four bottles of beer" I ordered the barman but he stares at me confusedly.

" Are you joking ?" He asks in a confusing tone but turned to take my order at my deadly glare.

Men irritate me .. don't try to get friendly.

I drank as I'll never do again and I still don't know how I'll pay up my debts.

I'm sleeping on the streets today because I'm sure she'll be staying at my door right now.

" Give me two more?" I ordered in a drunken state and I find it hard to see clearly.

I was drinking the 8th bottle when everything went dark, I stood up after a while but my vision wasn't clear enough and I scuttled out after paying.

I thought the beer would stop me from thinking but rather it increased and the tears began to flow heavily.

" I don't deserve this" I whimper loudly as I tottered around the street.
