Chapter 4- Crimes

"You are the one who killed her!"

Caspian pointed at the waitress. All of them are shocked, even the mafias. How could a waitress kill someone when she is just doing her job a while ago? But Caspian can prove his statement because of the evidences he saw.

"You're the one who gave her a glass of water, so basically you murdered her."

"What?!" The waitress shouted. She looked frustrated and defensive. "How could I kill her by just giving her a glass of water? Are you fucking accusing me, Mr. Mafia Boss?"

"Well first of all, I can prove that you are the one who killed her just because of this glass of water." He picked up the glass of water. "Miguel, what have you noticed with your water?"

"A lot of ice were floating."

"When you put ice in a glass of water, the ice will float. But this water he was drinking, the ice was submerged. Water is heavier than ice. It expels the lighter ice and enables the ice to float to the top," he explained.

"Fuck," the waitress cursed. She was about to escape when Darius held her wrist. "Let go of me!" She shouted.

"Casper, call officer Jones and report him what happened," Caspian commanded him. Casper nodded.

"I wonder why so much crimes were committed here in Ciudad Reál," Raziel asked Kaede and Azrael who's still holding the traumatized girl who's now sleeping.

"If Castillo wasn't arround, the whole city will be a mess for sure," Kaede said and Azrael nodded. That made Raziel smirked.

"Excuse me for a moment." Raziel excused himself. He held Fionna's wrist and dragged her at the end of the hallway. Fionna looked at him, confused by his sudden actions.

"What?"

"You know your main purpose why I introduced you to them right?" Raziel asked her.

"Of course! How would I forgot it? My brother and you keep reminding me of that fucking plan." She rolled her eyes.

"Good. Now, first thing you have to do is be friend with Castillo. And when you finally got his trust, invite him for a dinner outside the city," he said.

"Invite what? Outside the city? Do you think he will agree to that? You know, Ciudad Reál is a mess now. A lot of crimes were reported and if their Mafia Boss wasn't around, there will be a total chaos."

"That's the fucking point! We need Castillo to go outside this city so that Ciudad Reál will get messier. And when it's a total mess, that's when your brother make a move," he explained.

That's the purpose why Fionna was here in Ciudad Reál. She needs to do her task that her brother gave her and Raziel was her ally. He will serve as Fionna's guide while she's doing her task.

"Yeah, whatever."

Evening came and all of the mafias left the headquarters, except Kaede. He was tasked to make a hard copy of the crimes reported in Ciudad Reál for the whole week. Murders, robbery, abduction, and even kidnapping were reported in just a span of one week. It's not new for the people in Ciudad Reál that a lot of crimes were reported in just a short period of time, especially in District 2 and 3.

Kaede was about to close the door of the printing room when he heard that there are people talking in the room beside his.

"What are we going to do?" He sneaked his ears to the door to clearly hear the conversation.

"Proceed to the plan. Whatever happens, we need to do it," the girl responded. He heard footsteps coming to the door that made him panick. He immediately opened the printing room to hide.

"Why am I hiding?" He held his chest because of the nervousness he felt. Sneaking into other people's conversation is a bad thing for him but today, something's strange from what he heard. "What are their plans?"

After a couple of minutes, he left the printing room. He was reviewing the hard copies while walking. "District 2, case number 5- murder. District 3, case number-"

"Luna!"

He looked back at someone who called him with furrowed brows. No one calls him Luna in the headquarters. It was his nickname when he is flirting with girls. When he finally realized who called him, he smiled.

"Hey, sol." He waved his hands to the girl who's approaching him. "What brings you here?"

"Well, I have something to tell Raziel. Anyway, where are you going?" They started walking together. Kaede opened the glass door and letting her enter first. That made Sol smile.

"I am heading to the police station. I need to give this to officer Jones." He showed her the papers he was holding.

"You didn't bring your car?"

"I did but it was parked on the parking lot of the headquarters. Don't worry too much, the police station was just a few steps here," he chuckled.

Sol nodded. "I have to go now."

"You didn't bring your car?" Kaede imitated how she asked him the same question.

"I have no car. Don't worry too much, I already booked a grab. Oh! Here it is," she pointed at the car going towards their direction. "I have to go now."

"Wait, sol!"

Sol looked at him. "Hm?"

"Wanna grab a coffee? Tomorrow? Afternoon?"

"Sure," she chuckled because of his actions. "Cute."

"Four kids were reportedly missing after their classes yesterday. A witness said that the four of them entered a black van. She didn't mind it because she thought that it was their-"

Caspian turned off the TV. He sips on his coffee while opening the door of his balcony. Busy streets, birds chirping, and people happily hanging out in the park was his view from the balcony. He sighed while staring at his view.

Ciudad Reál was never a peaceful place. The people there was kind and hospitable and most of all, they always mind their own business. What made him think is that why is the city's crimes that were reported was doubled from the past few months. He doesn't think that the Lazus are the ones behind this. He knows them too well. If they want war, they will attack them at once. Not like this.

"I will do everything to stop the crimes that is happening in my city. I don't mind if it cost my life."

"Let's take a break."

The mafias were in the headquarters for trainings again. But instead of just the seven of them, he also trained the police officers in District 2 and 3. Most crimes were committed in that two district and they need a stronger officers to prevent these crimes.

All of the officers went to the cafeteria after the training meanwhile, the mafias were busy checking the newly arrived pistols from Japan gave by their yakuza Kenichi Shinoda. Caspian on the other hand was on the shower room. He needs some time to rest because tomorrow will be a big day for him.

"This Sniper Rifle is rock," Jiro said.

"This is mine," Darius put the Gold Revolver in his pocket.

"Yeah and I hope next time, you'll hold that Revolver tight," Caspian told him while closing the door of the shower room.

"Darius! Hold the Gold Revolver tight! You're not holding a fucking Golden Retriever," Casper imitated what Caspian said on their last training that made all of them laugh, except Caspian.

Jiro noticed that. "Based on your facial expressions, you are stressed." Jiro handed the water to Caspian who's now putting away his belongings inside his bag.

"I am." He took the water and drink it. "I'm heading to my mansion now."

"Bye boss!" The mafias bid him goodbye.

When he arrived at the parking lot, he saw a girl leaning on the bumper of his Raptor. He stopped walking when he realized who the girl was. "what the fuck is she doing here?"

"Hey!"

"Fuck," he cursed but still gave her a smile. He may not seem to look nervous at all but the hands inside his pocket were trembling.

"Are you going home now?" Fionna asked.

"Yeah. Why?" He coldly responded. He's afraid that if he opens his mouth, it will just be embarrassing.

"Can I go with you?"

His brows furrowed. "Why would you go with me?"

"Don't get the wrong idea, it's just that... I am heading to District 7 because I need to see Raziel's parents," the girl excused.

"Why don't you just go with Raziel?"

"He told me that he will come home late."

"Then wait for him," he said before leaving the girl dumbfounded. It's not that Caspian doesn't want to go with her, but he's afraid on how he'll act when they're inside his car, with just two of them. He started the engine of his car before leaving the parking lot.

"Fuck, that was embarrassing!" Fionna hissed. "Why did I agree on this task in the first place? Ah!" She ruffled her hair frustratedly.

"Ah!" She shouted in shock when a car beeped behind her. The car went beside her, windows open.

"Get in the car."
