"You are the one who killed her!"
Caspian pointed at the waitress. All of them are shocked, even the mafias. How could a waitress kill someone when she is just doing her job a while ago? But Caspian can prove his statement because of the evidences he saw.
"You're the one who gave her a glass of water, so basically you murdered her."
"What?!" The waitress shouted. She looked frustrated and defensive. "How could I kill her by just giving her a glass of water? Are you fucking accusing me, Mr. Mafia Boss?"
"Well first of all, I can prove that you are the one who killed her just because of this glass of water." He picked up the glass of water. "Miguel, what have you noticed with your water?"
"A lot of ice were floating."
"When you put ice in a glass of water, the ice will float. But this water he was drinking, the ice was submerged. Water is heavier than ice. It expels the lighter ice and enables the ice to float to the top," he explained.
"Fuck," the waitress cursed. She was about to escape when Darius held her wrist. "Let go of me!" She shouted.
"Casper, call officer Jones and report him what happened," Caspian commanded him. Casper nodded.
"I wonder why so much crimes were committed here in Ciudad Reál," Raziel asked Kaede and Azrael who's still holding the traumatized girl who's now sleeping.
"If Castillo wasn't arround, the whole city will be a mess for sure," Kaede said and Azrael nodded. That made Raziel smirked.
"Excuse me for a moment." Raziel excused himself. He held Fionna's wrist and dragged her at the end of the hallway. Fionna looked at him, confused by his sudden actions.
"What?"
"You know your main purpose why I introduced you to them right?" Raziel asked her.
"Of course! How would I forgot it? My brother and you keep reminding me of that fucking plan." She rolled her eyes.
"Good. Now, first thing you have to do is be friend with Castillo. And when you finally got his trust, invite him for a dinner outside the city," he said.
"Invite what? Outside the city? Do you think he will agree to that? You know, Ciudad Reál is a mess now. A lot of crimes were reported and if their Mafia Boss wasn't around, there will be a total chaos."
"That's the fucking point! We need Castillo to go outside this city so that Ciudad Reál will get messier. And when it's a total mess, that's when your brother make a move," he explained.
That's the purpose why Fionna was here in Ciudad Reál. She needs to do her task that her brother gave her and Raziel was her ally. He will serve as Fionna's guide while she's doing her task.
"Yeah, whatever."
Evening came and all of the mafias left the headquarters, except Kaede. He was tasked to make a hard copy of the crimes reported in Ciudad Reál for the whole week. Murders, robbery, abduction, and even kidnapping were reported in just a span of one week. It's not new for the people in Ciudad Reál that a lot of crimes were reported in just a short period of time, especially in District 2 and 3.
Kaede was about to close the door of the printing room when he heard that there are people talking in the room beside his.
"What are we going to do?" He sneaked his ears to the door to clearly hear the conversation.
"Proceed to the plan. Whatever happens, we need to do it," the girl responded. He heard footsteps coming to the door that made him panick. He immediately opened the printing room to hide.
"Why am I hiding?" He held his chest because of the nervousness he felt. Sneaking into other people's conversation is a bad thing for him but today, something's strange from what he heard. "What are their plans?"
After a couple of minutes, he left the printing room. He was reviewing the hard copies while walking. "District 2, case number 5- murder. District 3, case number-"
"Luna!"
He looked back at someone who called him with furrowed brows. No one calls him Luna in the headquarters. It was his nickname when he is flirting with girls. When he finally realized who called him, he smiled.
"Hey, sol." He waved his hands to the girl who's approaching him. "What brings you here?"
"Well, I have something to tell Raziel. Anyway, where are you going?" They started walking together. Kaede opened the glass door and letting her enter first. That made Sol smile.
"I am heading to the police station. I need to give this to officer Jones." He showed her the papers he was holding.
"You didn't bring your car?"
"I did but it was parked on the parking lot of the headquarters. Don't worry too much, the police station was just a few steps here," he chuckled.
Sol nodded. "I have to go now."
"You didn't bring your car?" Kaede imitated how she asked him the same question.
"I have no car. Don't worry too much, I already booked a grab. Oh! Here it is," she pointed at the car going towards their direction. "I have to go now."
"Wait, sol!"
Sol looked at him. "Hm?"
"Wanna grab a coffee? Tomorrow? Afternoon?"
"Sure," she chuckled because of his actions. "Cute."
"Four kids were reportedly missing after their classes yesterday. A witness said that the four of them entered a black van. She didn't mind it because she thought that it was their-"
Caspian turned off the TV. He sips on his coffee while opening the door of his balcony. Busy streets, birds chirping, and people happily hanging out in the park was his view from the balcony. He sighed while staring at his view.
Ciudad Reál was never a peaceful place. The people there was kind and hospitable and most of all, they always mind their own business. What made him think is that why is the city's crimes that were reported was doubled from the past few months. He doesn't think that the Lazus are the ones behind this. He knows them too well. If they want war, they will attack them at once. Not like this.
"I will do everything to stop the crimes that is happening in my city. I don't mind if it cost my life."
"Let's take a break."
The mafias were in the headquarters for trainings again. But instead of just the seven of them, he also trained the police officers in District 2 and 3. Most crimes were committed in that two district and they need a stronger officers to prevent these crimes.
All of the officers went to the cafeteria after the training meanwhile, the mafias were busy checking the newly arrived pistols from Japan gave by their yakuza Kenichi Shinoda. Caspian on the other hand was on the shower room. He needs some time to rest because tomorrow will be a big day for him.
"This Sniper Rifle is rock," Jiro said.
"This is mine," Darius put the Gold Revolver in his pocket.
"Yeah and I hope next time, you'll hold that Revolver tight," Caspian told him while closing the door of the shower room.
"Darius! Hold the Gold Revolver tight! You're not holding a fucking Golden Retriever," Casper imitated what Caspian said on their last training that made all of them laugh, except Caspian.
Jiro noticed that. "Based on your facial expressions, you are stressed." Jiro handed the water to Caspian who's now putting away his belongings inside his bag.
"I am." He took the water and drink it. "I'm heading to my mansion now."
"Bye boss!" The mafias bid him goodbye.
When he arrived at the parking lot, he saw a girl leaning on the bumper of his Raptor. He stopped walking when he realized who the girl was. "what the fuck is she doing here?"
"Hey!"
"Fuck," he cursed but still gave her a smile. He may not seem to look nervous at all but the hands inside his pocket were trembling.
"Are you going home now?" Fionna asked.
"Yeah. Why?" He coldly responded. He's afraid that if he opens his mouth, it will just be embarrassing.
"Can I go with you?"
His brows furrowed. "Why would you go with me?"
"Don't get the wrong idea, it's just that... I am heading to District 7 because I need to see Raziel's parents," the girl excused.
"Why don't you just go with Raziel?"
"He told me that he will come home late."
"Then wait for him," he said before leaving the girl dumbfounded. It's not that Caspian doesn't want to go with her, but he's afraid on how he'll act when they're inside his car, with just two of them. He started the engine of his car before leaving the parking lot.
"Fuck, that was embarrassing!" Fionna hissed. "Why did I agree on this task in the first place? Ah!" She ruffled her hair frustratedly.
"Ah!" She shouted in shock when a car beeped behind her. The car went beside her, windows open.
"Get in the car."
Caspian's pov:"Is it a bad idea that I let her come with me?"I asked myself while looking at the mirror in front of me. She told me that she needs to go to the restroom so I stopped the car in the nearest gasoline station. I was distracted the whole time! I don't know how to react."This is my first time letting a woman enter my car. Yes, first time so my feelings are valid. Yes, valid," I assured myself.I went to the convenience store beside the gasoline station to buy some snacks to eat. I ran out of food stock in my house, especially my snacks. Casper was in my house last night and he didn't do anything but play my PS5 the whole night, he even ate my snacks. That dumbass. After I payed the cashier I went to my Raptor and there I saw the woman waiting for me. "Caspian, calm," I reminded myself."Oh, what did you buy?" She asked me, smiling. I saw how her eyes lit up when she saw me but her smile is fake, I can sense that something is wrong with this woman."Just snacks," I boring
Caspian's pov:"Good morning, Mr. Castillo."Everyone in the board room stood up to greet me, except Hunter Cody Lazus. He didn't even bother to glance at me. All of them are not surprised, they know that I am Hunter's biggest rival. He's insecure of me and my city but I don't blame him, if I were him I would be insecure with myself too.I am the most respected mafia boss in the country and his insecurities towards me is very understandable. I am the number 1 mafia and he didn't even make it to top 5 of being the strongest and greatest mafia in the country. I gestured them to sit in their respective seats. "Let's start," I told them. I sat on my seat located at the very front. I looked at them one by one, trying to see if every mafia boss in the country was present."Mr. Elizalde is absent. He told me that he has more important plans than this today." I nodded at Mr. Acosa and thanking him for telling me. I was actually looking for Mr. Elizalde. He is a big catch and I know if he wil
Caspian's pov:"We're not fucking kissing!"I defended myself because it's true! Who the fuck would kiss this old and gay mafia boss? I don't give a fuck about Hunter, who caught us today, but knowing him, he would gossip about what happened. He wants my image to be dirty."OK," he said, but I sensed sarcasm in his tone. "I don't give a fuck though. Why so defensive?" I removed Adamson's hands from my shoulders and went to my chair to get my things. I need to get out of here. I have things to do in the headquarters. When I was about to leave the room, Hunter said something, so I stopped."Fionna, do you know Caspian? Caspian Magnus Castillo from Ciudad Reál?" Hunter loudly asked. Why the fuck would he ask her about me? I looked back to see her reaction, but it seemed like she was not bothered by what Hunter asked her. Is there something wrong? "Yes," it's almost a whispered when she said that. I left the room after that. I don't want to meddle in their conversation. I don't care if
Caspian's pov."Let's make a deal."I looked at her, confused. What kind of deal is she thinking? We both know that her brother is my biggest rival and the reason why Ciudad Reál is a mess is because of them! How am I going to trust her?"A deal? Really?" I shifted on my seat. "Come on, Via. I know what you're thinking. You probably want to watch my downfall.""What?!"Is she shocked? Does she thinks that I won't know their plan? What am I? Stupid? I am not stupid, but their plan is."You know what, I regretted that I trusted you. The time that I saw you holding Hunter's arms, I should've distanced myself from you! You fucking traitor!""I am not a traitor!" We're both shouting now. I was relieved that the other mafias were away because I am not going to waste my time arguing with this girl here in the headquarters if the mafias were here."Then what, Via?! Are you going to manipulate me? Again?" "I never manipulated-""Then explain why did you brought me to Aranda City when you knew
"Get on your grip everyone!" Caspian shouted as he tried to lift everyone's energy. Early in the morning, he called all the mafias to the headquarters for some training sessions. They need the safety of their city, Ciudad Reál, especially now that the Castillo Clan's biggest rival are starting to make a move. "Darius! Hold the Gold Revolver tight! You're not holding a fucking Gold Retriever," Caspian said. "Casper, you mother fucker. What are you doing?" He continued scolding everyone that is not doing their tasks right. Casper, his cousin, put the gun on the table where all pistols are located. "Boss, chill. We are just training. We are not on a war or something," he chuckled. That earned a smack from Caspian. What he dislikes most of all are people who don’t take work seriously. When he is working, there's no friendship is involved. Work is work. That is Caspian, a man who is passionate with his work. "You can joke all you want but never make a joke while doing this work," he s
"Caspian! Why are you rushing?" He drank the last shot of Alfonso in his glass before he put it on the table. Jiro looked at him, confused. Caspian is drinking nonstop, as if he wants to go home already. "I'm done!" He wiped the side of his lips. "I'll get going now." He snatched his keys from Jiro before walking away. While taking the stairs, he scanned the whole dance floor. He muttered a curse when he can't see the woman that caught his attention. Jiro was just silently following him without him knowing. He wants Caspian to be safe, especially now that he drank a lot of alcohol. Man finished three fucking bottles of alcohol all by himself. Jiro was genuinely concerned by how Caspian is acting. He is not like that. "Fuck, wait!" Jiro immediately scanned the whole bar, from every corners of it to the middle of the dance floor. Caspian was gone in just a snap! Jiro was annoyed and at the same time concerned. Someone held his arms that made him look fast at the one who held him, h
"I need to go, everyone. Someone is waiting for me in the headquarters."All of them looked at Raziel, confused. After they discussed everything with Officer Jones, all of them decided to chill out in the backyard of the abandoned building. They need to release the stress in the not so early morning."Who? A girl?" Kaede asked. "Yeah, and probably not your typical girl," Raziel answered. "Someone wants to go with me?""Bro, we have a fucking car. Go with yourself," Darius sarcastically answered him."I'll go with you," Caspian said and started walking to the parking lot first."I'll go too!" Kaede ran towards Caspian."Wait for me!" Azrael shouted."Don't fucking leave me here!" Darius ran too."Assholes," Raziel whispered. "I'll go first," he told the brothers. Both of them nod in unison that made him laugh."You're not going?" Jiro asked his brother. He looked at the beautiful scenery in front of them, tall trees and beautiful flowers were everywhere."No, I'm not going yet." Caspe
