...Xavier POV Continued...

It's been several hours since they took her back into the operating room. I don't understand what could be taking so long. I'm so on edge that I continue to pace the hallway outside of her room. Waiting for anyone to provide me with an update.

I can't explain anything that just happened. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I would say that it was impossible. Lexi didn't just manage to run on a broken leg, but also jump from a second story window. I'm anxious to talk to the doctors, so we can figure out what the hell happened. What she did, shouldn't even be physically possible.

This is the third time something unexplainable has happened. First it was her shooting abilities, then her blacked out fighting skills, and now this? Running and jumping with a body that shouldn't even be able to stand? None of this makes any sense.

The thing that continues to plague my mind is Catherine. These are all skill

...Jax POV...It's been two weeks, and Lexi hasn't let Xavier out of her sight once. She'll never admit it, but I know she's traumatized. None of us know what they did to her, while she was with those bastards. Xavier had her transferred to a larger room. She spends most of the time sleeping. However he wanted her to make sure she had anything she could ever want. He even brought in a queen sized bed, so that he could stay with her. Whenever he would attempt to leave, Lexi would immediately begin to panic.I have a feeling, that by keeping Xavier close to her, that it helps her to better differentiate reality from hallucinations. Doctor Lawson found strong hallucinogenic drugs in her system. She said that effects are wearing off, but until they're fully out of her system, she may still experience symptoms. Until Lexi decides to confide in anyone, we can only guess what took place. From her reaction at the hospital, to the weeks prior, it se

...Jax POV Continued...When we get back to the room, I play it off as though nothing's happened. After I made sure Lexi was comfortable, I went and spoke with Jonas, Mason, and Phillip. I made sure that what happened in the garden was to stay with between us. They were not in any circumstance to tell anyone else, especially Xavier. They hesitated at first, but agreed shortly after. Now I had to work on proving Xavier innocent. But before I did that, I needed to confide in him. I waited until Lexi had fallen asleep before pulling Xavier aside. I pulled him into another room to ensure that no one would be able to over hear us. I also requested that Doctor Lawson join us. I needed to know her feedback as well."What is it Jax. What happened?" Xavier asks.I try to hide my emotions, but I know it's of no use. What I'm about to tell him would shatter even the strongest of men. There's no better way to say it, then by just ripping the bandaid

I wake up during the middle of the night, Xavier's arms still wrapped around me in a firm embrace. I look over to see Xavier asleep in the bed beside me. I look over at him, and watch his chest rise and fall. He looks so peaceful when he's sleeping. I hate to disturb him, but I know if I don't, I will lose the chance to tell him. He's been patient with me all this time. But I know he deserves answers."Xavier?" I say, as I gently shake him."Hmm?" He moans softly.I try not to laugh, as he begins to stir."Is everything alright Little Bear?""Hmm. Oh yes. I just wanted to tell you something." I say, nervously biting my lip.Xavier sits up, watching me. Looking for any signs of what I'm about to say. He gently picks me up, placing me in his lap, my legs to the side."What did you want to tell me?" He asks, leaning his head down, resting it on my forehead."I wanted to give you answers to the questions you have, but haven't

It's been nearly three months since Xavier brought me to Bali. I wasn't sure what to think at first, and stayed silent for the first few days. Little did I realize how well Xavier had thought everything through. As he planned this vacation as a sort of mediation retreat. There was everything one would expect at a meditation retreat, and so much more. From the private yoga classes, meditation classes, even massages, and mud baths. This retreat was truly amazing. I found a new sense of peace. Xavier would cook for me, and it felt as though we were in our own world. I just wish things could be like this forever.Doctor Lawson continued to follow up with us through out the trip, to ensure that I was healing properly. She had advised that I wasn't allowed to swim, but that didn't stop Xavier from helping me to enjoy the crystal clear beaches.Xavier would help me change into my bathing suit, and would carry me to the beach. He would carefully set me down waist deep i

We've been away for awhile now that I find myself missing home. I miss Jax and Ryker. I miss the familiarity of Cortina. I miss Xavier's house. The longer we stay here, the more I find myself becoming homesick for everything we left behind. I want to talk to Xavier about going back, however I don't want him to feel upset that I want to leave.I walk back into the house, where I see Xavier sitting on the couch. I smile as I look at him relaxed on the couch and reading a book. He's resting on the couch in nothing but a pair of shorts and glasses. Something he never really gets to do at home. I smile as I watch him read. He looks incredibly sexy with his glasses. He only ever uses them for reading, which is why I'm not used to seeing him wear them.I come around him, gently pulling the book from his hand, as I straddle his lap. I look up at him, raising my hand to caress his cheek. Everything about this man is amazing. He's truly the best thing to ever happen to me, and I

...Xavier POV...When we came back from our honeymoon, I had a temporary remote office set up for us. Including a desk for Lexi, beside mine. Our day runs by the clock. We wake up at 8am, at work for 10am, have lunch at 1pm, finish work at 5pm, have supper at 6pm, then go to bed by 1opm. I didn't want to overwhelm Lexi by going to the office everyday. For now we just go to the office Monday's and Friday's. Lexi hasn't had much of a chance to really work with me yet, not only that but there's so much that we need to catch up on. I haven't been to work for nearly five months now. Ryker has been keeping the business operating, but he has so many other responsibilities to take care of, so I need to resume responsibility as soon as possible. We also still haven't figured out Lexi's role in the company. I plan on making that my focus over the next while. I want to make sure she's happy, whether that means within my company or somewhere else. I would love for

A few hours later, I am holding our handsome son in my arms. I feel content as I look into his eyes. I smile as I see my green eyes stare back at me. He's an exact copy of Xavier except for the eyes. I couldn't be more proud. I turn to look at Xavier, smiling contentedly as he looks back at both of us. He leans forward and places a kiss on my head."What should we call him?" I ask."Are you sure? Don't you want to name him?" He questions."I've already had my chance. I want you to name him." I say smiling down at our bundle of joy.Xavier looks at the both of us, thinking for a moment."What about... Rainer?" He asks, nervously.I look down at our son."I think it's perfect. Why Rainer?" I ask."Because he's our little Warrior. Rainer means wise army or deciding warrior. Either of which I believe him to be. He beat the odds and triumphed over the darkness." With Ryker in England, that meant that Xavier no longer had a second in command. A role which needed to be filled as soon as possible, however not just anyone would be eligible for the role. Which is why I talked to Xavier about it."I know who we should make your second in command." I say as I sit on his lap in his office.Ever since I've been released from the hospital, Xavier has all his things from the office transferred to the house. He does everything remotely, as he doesn't want to leave my side. He spends nearly every second of the day with me. At first, I thought it would be overwhelming, or that he would grow tired of me. However, from the amount of time we have missed being together, I couldn't think of any better way to make up for the lost time. Admittedly, he doesn't always get work done, however, I try to help him, to make up for our extracurricular activities.Xavier turns my head, to place a kiss on my forehead."I know as wel

True to her word, over the next few months, Sienna helped me gain control of the Dragons. As Jax had found out, the Serbs had no interest in their American counter parts. Rather it seems as though we did them a favour by eliminating Craig and his brothers. Shortly after I took control of the Dragons, Vlado, the leader of the Serbian Mafia reached out to us. He wanted to thank us for eliminating his troublesome family members, and offered us anything we want in return. We thought about it for awhile, when only when thing came to mind. We wanted peace. The best way to achieve that, was if we formed an alliance. This alliance would unite the Scorpions, Dragons, Serbs, along with the Knights. We would now be the most powerful organizations in the world. We had so many allies, that no one would ever dare to go against us.With Sienna and Xavier's help, I was able to transform the Dragons into an entirely new organization. The Dragons now closely resembled the Scorpions, how

That I'll continue to have to look over my shoulder in fear. Instinctively, I run my hand over my stomach, as my thought now goes to my unborn child. Will they have to live a life like me? Will their lives always be in peril? The thought alone makes my body shiver. I feel my blood run cold, just at the thought. As if sensing my nervousness, Xavier is quick to respond. ...Lexi POV...I was discharged from the hospital a few days later. Under supervision of Dr Lawson of course. Even though I had been discharged, Xavier didn't allow me to do anything myself. Rather he had become like my personal slave. If I needed to go to the bathroom, he would take me. If I wanted to g outside, he would carry me there. He cooked anything I wanted to eat. Which I can't complain, because he's an amazing chef.Even though I found the attention to be overwhelming at times, I didn't say anything. I still don't remember everything that happened, but I knew from the way he was acting, that he was afraid that he could lose me at any moment. While he had become good at hiding his true feelings, he could never fully hide them from me. Whatever happened, must've scared him shitless. From what I do know about what happened, I can only agree that his reaction is justified. I would be acting similarly, if not the same if our roles were reversed.

Nurses began to run out of the room in a panic. My men followed behind me as we entered Lexi's room. My eyes went wide as I saw one of the Doctors pinned to the ground, as Lexi held onto a needle, threatening to inject the doctor beneath her."What the hell is going on?" I shout. My men seem just as confused as me. It's as thought they have no idea what to do next. They know they can't shoot her, but they also know that if they were to injure her in any way, that they would pay with their lives. So instead, they stand placid, unsure as to how to move forward."We don't know what happened. We believe that she's trying to defend herself, but she doesn't seem to realize that we're just trying to help her." One of the nurses informs me.Instantly, I begin to understand. I've seen her do this once before. She's unconsciously defending herself. Her mind must be blending her nightmares with reality. Defending itself in the only way it knows how. By attacking. As

...Xavier POV...Shortly after Sienna had left, Ryker was discharged from the hospital. He had grown restless in the time that he had been in the hospital. With Dr Lawson's help, Ryker will be staying at my place for the next couple of months. He'll be monitored the entire time, to ensure nothing bad happens. But it also allows him a sense of freedom and normalcy. Ryker and I are very similar. We both need to feel as though we are accomplishing something. Not doing anything, just makes us more irritable. That alone is one of the many reasons as to why I have an at home clinic. Dr Lawson always said that I'm one of her worst patients. As I always go against her wishes.Matteo and Catherine helped with Ryker's transition to my house. In the meantime Catherine and Matteo are also staying at my house. Cause that's exactly what he is, a fighter. Even the doctors were amazed that he survived.Ryker was placed in a medically induced coma, once they were able to stable him. He had to undergo several blood transfusions. His body took a very bad beating. We still have no idea if he'll ever be the same again.
