...Xavier POV...

I was absolutely restless. I couldn't stop pacing. I so badly wanted to jump in my car and chase after her, but I knew it was futile. When Lexi was like this, it was as if she was someone completely else. She reminded me of Catherine when she was like this. She could go from being nice and gentle to ruthless and cutthroat in the blink of an eye. She normally acted this way if she felt we were in danger. Which makes me grow even more on edge.

I run back to the security room.

"There's something we must've missed. Lexi clearly figured it out for her to act that way." I explain.

"But wasn't she unhappy because we didn't find anything?" Kevin asks.

"Lexi doesn't do that. She does however push people away when she believes they could be in danger." Blake responds for me.

I look at him, our eyes meeting. We share a look, a knowing look that we've somehow missed something. Blake nods his head, then goes in search of the paper

...Lexi POV...I look over to Sienna sitting beside me in the passenger seat. Only to see the side profile of myself. This is a truly weird experience. I don't know how to act. I know I should care about her, but at the same time she's a complete stranger to me. Instead of focusing on her, I turn my attention to the mission ahead.I begin running scenarios in my mind, looking for any possible solution. I heavily examine every outcome, looking for a surefire way to end this. However, there's so many elements that we need to consider. From Sienna's reappearance, to the identity of Rapture, ensuring Ryker's safety, the ticking time bomb inside of me, and even the devil himself. I continue playing with ideas, as one thought comes to mind."No one knows who Rapture is." I say out loud."Well, no one other than you." Sienna replies."So anyone could be Rapture." I say, thinking out loud."Well, not everybody, but I guess?" She r

...Ethan POV...I was in the middle of a meeting with Xavier and the rest of the Scorpions figuring out our next steps. Ever since we saw Lexi's car on the move again, we knew what she was planning. We just didn't know the final destination.Xavier's office was a complete mess. There were maps and charts everywhere. People pitching a billion ideas at the same time. We had a feeling Lexi was going after Craig, which only terrified Xavier. I could tell he was worried about what would happen if Lexi managed to confront Craig. Lord knows that it would only end badly, but for who, we weren't positive about.Xavier knew that she would find a way to save Ryker, but at what cost? Also would he even be worth saving? I don't mean that in a bad way, but we all have our concerns over what she'll find. From my estimates, Ryker should've died nearly a week ago. That was even stretching it. We were just afraid that Lexi would get herself killed, only to find that R

I was terrified that the next thing I hear about her, will be someone informing me that she's been killed.I tried not to think like that, but it was hard not to fall into that trap. There were just so many variables against us at the moment, that the likelihood of her surviving became slimmer by the second."Enough!" I shouted, getting everyone to shut up.Instantly the room fell silent with all eyes on me."Someone give me some sort of a solution!" I scream out in frustration. My eyes scan around the room, however everyone remains silent. As I continue to scan through my men, they one by one look away from me. It seems after all of this, we're no further than we were hours ago."I may have an idea." Kevin says, surprising me."What?" I ask, waiting

In the heat of the moment, Craig takes off.I can't let him get away. However I have no choice in this moment, at least until I can get the bomb out. I need a way to protect myself.I peek out of the room, looking for any sign of anyone following me. However, much to my luck, no one seems to have noticed me. A few hours later, I am holding our handsome son in my arms. I feel content as I look into his eyes. I smile as I see my green eyes stare back at me. He's an exact copy of Xavier except for the eyes. I couldn't be more proud. I turn to look at Xavier, smiling contentedly as he looks back at both of us. He leans forward and places a kiss on my head."What should we call him?" I ask."Are you sure? Don't you want to name him?" He questions."I've already had my chance. I want you to name him." I say smiling down at our bundle of joy.Xavier looks at the both of us, thinking for a moment."What about... Rainer?" He asks, nervously.I look down at our son."I think it's perfect. Why Rainer?" With Ryker in England, that meant that Xavier no longer had a second in command. A role which needed to be filled as soon as possible, however not just anyone would be eligible for the role. True to her word, over the next few months, Sienna helped me gain control of the Dragons. As Jax had found out, the Serbs had no interest in their American counter parts. Rather it seems as though we did them a favour by eliminating Craig and his brothers. Shortly after I took control of the Dragons, Vlado, the leader of the Serbian Mafia reached out to us. He wanted to thank us for eliminating his troublesome family members, and offered us anything we want in return. We thought about it for awhile, when only when thing came to mind. We wanted peace. The best way to achieve that, was if we formed an alliance. This alliance would unite the Scorpions, Dragons, Serbs, along with the Knights. We would now be the most powerful organizations in the world. We had so many allies, that no one would ever dare to go against us.With Sienna and Xavier's help, I was able to transform the Dragons into an entirely new organization. The Dragons now closely resembled the Scorpions, how

That I'll continue to have to look over my shoulder in fear. Instinctively, I run my hand over my stomach, as my thought now goes to my unborn child. Will they have to live a life like me? ...Lexi POV...I was discharged from the hospital a few days later. Under supervision of Dr Lawson of course. Even though I had been discharged, Xavier didn't allow me to do anything myself. Rather he had become like my personal slave. If I needed to go to the bathroom, he would take me. If I wanted to g outside, he would carry me there. He cooked anything I wanted to eat. Which I can't complain, because he's an amazing chef.Even though I found the attention to be overwhelming at times, I didn't say anything. I still don't remember everything that happened, but I knew from the way he was acting, that he was afraid that he could lose me at any moment. While he had become good at hiding his true feelings, he could never fully hide them from me. Whatever happened, must've scared him shitless. From what I do know about what happened, I can only agree that his reaction is justified. I would be acting similarly, if not the same if our roles were reversed.

Nurses began to run out of the room in a panic. My men followed behind me as we entered Lexi's room. My eyes went wide as I saw one of the Doctors pinned to the ground, as Lexi held onto a needle, threatening to inject the doctor beneath her."What the hell is going on?" I shout. My men seem just as confused as me. It's as thought they have no idea what to do next. They know they can't shoot her, but they also know that if they were to injure her in any way, that they would pay with their lives. So instead, they stand placid, unsure as to how to move forward."We don't know what happened. We believe that she's trying to defend herself, but she doesn't seem to realize that we're just trying to help her." One of the nurses informs me.Instantly, I begin to understand. I've seen her do this once before. She's unconsciously defending herself. Her mind must be blending her nightmares with reality. Defending itself in the only way it knows how. By attacking. As
