...Lexi POV...

I make my way back to the utility tunnel. I can feel myself growing weaker by the second. However, I can't let myself succumb to the weakness. If I pause for even a moment, my friends and family will pay the price with their lives. Something I refuse to let happen.

"What now?" I say, curtly.

I'm exhausted, and my body is screaming at me to rest. The events are slowly catching up with me, but I can't let myself get distracted. I need to stay focused. I step closer to the tv screens to find any answers. Everything to Craig is one giant game. I'll play his game for now, letting him have his moment. But I plan on coming out the victor. I just need to be strategic with my plays, to make sure that he doesn't wipe me out first.

I watch the screen, and I can see my mom passed out in a dark area. I search the screen for any answers that could help me narrow down her location. I can't make out a whole lot. There doesn't seem to be much in the area. I

I stopped in my tracks, and all eyes were on Blake. We needed some good news, any news. We just couldn't handle anymore bad news. Blake seemed to stay quiet, not responding other than a phew hmm's and mhmm's here and there, signalling to the caller that he was still on the line, but without letting slip any details of who he was talking to or what the call was pertaining to.I don't

I had no idea where I was, let alone that I was on the water. I was chained to a weighted ball, and tied up. I tried to escape, but realized that I had no way of getting out of the ball and chain. Water suddenly started coming in, which is when I realized that I must be on the water somewhere. The water was coming in fast. I had come to terms with the fact that I would die there. But then Lexi ap

I scream out, coughing as the smoke enters my lungs."MOM!" I scream out once more, in hopes of finding anything that could lead to her.I hear a faint knocking coming from the right. I run as fast as I can, jumping over flames, keeping myself small.I find a large standing metal filing cabinet, leaning against the wall. There's a giant pillar on top of it. But I can see the faint tremor from underneath. Indicating that she must be in there.I rip my jacket off me, and wrap it around the beam, preventing my hands from going up in flames. Using all of my strength, I push the beam off the cabinet.Debris begins to rain down from the ceiling as the be a, crashes to the floor. I cover my head, praying that nothing large falls. ...Xavier POV...Not long after Lexi left me at the dock, Ethan and a few other men showed up. Her ring worked liked a charm. The moment the tracker was activated, Ethan immediately knew something was up, and didn't hesitate to send people out to search for her. They were really surprised to see me, and not Lexi standing at the docks.I was grateful that they didn't ask any questions. My mind was still spinning after my near death experience, and after everything Lexi told me. This was so much bigger than any of us had anticipated. Before Lexi left, I could see how exhausted she was. I had no idea what had taken place prior to her finding me, but I knew whatever happened, was quickly zapping her remaining energy reserves. In less than a few hours, she had run into a burning building, pulled her parents out before the final explosion, was involved in a car accident, and who else knows what.I was worried about her. I know she would go to any le

...Lexi POV...I was on edge. I'm normally so composed. But I wasn't sure what this would mean. Craig made it clear that I couldn't get help from anyone. So what will he do now that Xavier helped me? He hadn't blown me up, so that's a good thing. Right?I could feel myself shaking slightly as I gained time from stealing Xavier's Huayra. While I didn't intend on using it. I knew I needed a way to make up for all the time I had lost while being unconscious.Xavier has and will always be my saving grace. He's been there for me more times than I can count. He's saved me so many times, however going forward, I can't rely that he will always be there to save me. If Craig is successful, I may never get to see Xavier again. I had little time left, but I needed a way to send out a message. Which is when I saw it. Xavier's phone.Suddenly everything started looking better. Plans were forming in my mind. I now had not one but two wild cards added to the mix. I

...Jax POV...I was worried about Xavier. When he bolted out of here, I knew where he was going. I didn't even bother trying to stop him. Not that I would be able to. We finally had a lead. I just hoped Xavier would make it on time. I ran after Xavier, following him to the garage. His car just sped under the half opened garage door, as he took off onto the road.Out of all the cars, of course he took the Huayra. It was the fastest car, so of course he would take that one, in a situation like this. I settled with the Lamborghini, and quickly raced after him. I knew I didn't have a chance, as the top speed of my car was less than half of his. He would definitely get there before I did. But that would be fine. I was only going to make sure nothing happened to him.By the time I made it there, I could see Xavier's car speed off in the distance. I didn't understand what was going on. I could hear sirens in the distance, and I knew they were coming here. I

...Lexi POV...I pulled up to the fishery about ten minutes later. I was terrified. I have no idea who's life is even in peril, but I also had no idea as to whether I would even get to them on time. I was extremely nervous. While I knew about the new freezer, that didn't mean I knew where it was located in the building. Unlike the other locations, I wasn't in familiar territory. Which would mean I would only waste more time trying to figure out where I even need to go. Crucial time that I couldn't afford to waste.I needed to come up with a way to locate where I needed to go, without searching the entire building. I only had one idea, I just hoped it worked.I grabbed Xavier's phone from my back pocket, and turned it on, giving it time to start up. I pulled into the parking lot of the fishery a few moments later. I grabbed the phone, and using the search engine, looked for blueprints for the building. It was a stretch that any blueprints that I managed to

...Xavier POV...I felt uneasy about this entire situation. For the first time in my life, I felt utterly useless. I had no idea where to even begin to help Lexi. I wanted to get her out of this predicament, but I had no idea how.I had asked Ethan to work on ways in which he could deactivate the bomb inside Lexi. The main problem however, was that he was operating blind. He had no idea what kind of bomb had been implanted in her. So he would need to find a guarantee way that once we tried to deactivate it, that it wouldn't go off instead.Just the idea made me feel sick to my stomach. I don't even know how Lexi's even dealing with this. I just have to hope that she will try to protect herself. I love Lexi more than life itself, but her one fault would be that she has a martyr complex. It's something I've come to love about her, as she's loyal to a fault. However, it's also her downfall. Without hesitating, she would do anything to protect the ones s

A few hours later, I am holding our handsome son in my arms. I feel content as I look into his eyes. I smile as I see my green eyes stare back at me. He's an exact copy of Xavier except for the eyes. I couldn't be more proud. I turn to look at Xavier, smiling contentedly as he looks back at both of us. He leans forward and places a kiss on my head."What should we call him?" I ask."Are you sure? Don't you want to name him?" He questions."I've already had my chance. I want you to name him." With Ryker in England, that meant that Xavier no longer had a second in command. A role which needed to be filled as soon as possible, however not just anyone would be eligible for the role. Which is why I talked to Xavier about it."I know who we should make your second in command." I say as I sit on his lap in his office.Ever since I've been released from the hospital, Xavier has all his things from the office transferred to the house. He does everything remotely, as he doesn't want to leave my side. He spends nearly every second of the day with me. At first, I thought it would be overwhelming, or that he would grow tired of me. However, from the amount of time we have missed being together, I couldn't think of any better way to make up for the lost time. Admittedly, he doesn't always get work done, however, I try to help him, to make up for our extracurricular activities.Xavier turns my head, to place a kiss on my forehead."I know as wel

True to her word, over the next few months, Sienna helped me gain control of the Dragons. As Jax had found out, the Serbs had no interest in their American counter parts. Rather it seems as though we did them a favour by eliminating Craig and his brothers. Shortly after I took control of the Dragons, Vlado, the leader of the Serbian Mafia reached out to us. He wanted to thank us for eliminating his troublesome family members, and offered us anything we want in return. We thought about it for awhile, when only when thing came to mind. We wanted peace. The best way to achieve that, was if we formed an alliance. This alliance would unite the Scorpions, Dragons, Serbs, along with the Knights. We would now be the most powerful organizations in the world. We had so many allies, that no one would ever dare to go against us.With Sienna and Xavier's help, I was able to transform the Dragons into an entirely new organization. The Dragons now closely resembled the Scorpions, how

That I'll continue to have to look over my shoulder in fear. Instinctively, I run my hand over my stomach, as my thought now goes to my unborn child. Will they have to live a life like me? ...Lexi POV...I was discharged from the hospital a few days later. Under supervision of Dr Lawson of course. Even though I had been discharged, Xavier didn't allow me to do anything myself. Rather he had become like my personal slave. If I needed to go to the bathroom, he would take me. If I wanted to g outside, he would carry me there. He cooked anything I wanted to eat. Which I can't complain, because he's an amazing chef.Even though I found the attention to be overwhelming at times, I didn't say anything. I still don't remember everything that happened, but I knew from the way he was acting, that he was afraid that he could lose me at any moment. While he had become good at hiding his true feelings, he could never fully hide them from me. Whatever happened, must've scared him shitless. From what I do know about what happened, I can only agree that his reaction is justified. I would be acting similarly, if not the same if our roles were reversed.

Nurses began to run out of the room in a panic. My men followed behind me as we entered Lexi's room. My eyes went wide as I saw one of the Doctors pinned to the ground, as Lexi held onto a needle, threatening to inject the doctor beneath her."What the hell is going on?" I shout. My men seem just as confused as me. It's as thought they have no idea what to do next. They know they can't shoot her, but they also know that if they were to injure her in any way, that they would pay with their lives. So instead, they stand placid, unsure as to how to move forward."We don't know what happened. We believe that she's trying to defend herself, but she doesn't seem to realize that we're just trying to help her." One of the nurses informs me.Instantly, I begin to understand. I've seen her do this once before. She's unconsciously defending herself. Her mind must be blending her nightmares with reality. Defending itself in the only way it knows how. By attacking. As

...Xavier POV...Shortly after Sienna had left, Ryker was discharged from the hospital. He had grown restless in the time that he had been in the hospital. With Dr Lawson's help, Ryker will be staying at my place for the next couple of months. He'll be monitored the entire time, to ensure nothing bad happens. But it also allows him a sense of freedom and normalcy. Ryker and I are very similar. We both need to feel as though we are accomplishing something. Not doing anything, just makes us more irritable. That alone is one of the many reasons as to why I have an at home clinic. Dr Lawson always said that I'm one of her worst patients. As I always go against her wishes.Matteo and Catherine helped with Ryker's transition to my house. In the meantime Catherine and Matteo are also staying at my house. We all thought that Ryker wouldn't stand a chance, considering his condition when we managed to find him. However, it seems as though we all have our parents fighting genes. Cause that's exactly what he is, a fighter. Even the doctors were amazed that he survived.Ryker was placed in a medically induced coma, once they were able to stable him. He had to undergo several blood transfusions. His body took a very bad beating. We still have no idea if he'll ever be the same again. His heart wasn't able to function properly due to the extreme blood loss. The doctors fear that he may have some life altering conditions, if he does manage to wake up.Chloe, or Dr Lawson had managed to stabilize me after I was shot.
