Chapter 83

Alexander was waiting for the right time to strike. He had been sitting out here for a while, watching people talk about the upcoming ceremony but that wasn't his business. His aim here was to monitor a bunch of men who stood around like they were tourists.

These were spies and he was sure of it. They probably came with Zeus. Just as he had that train of thought, Zeus stepped out of the inn and walked to one of the men after looking around. Alexander immediately concealed himself from being seen as he pretended to be reading a newspaper.

He could hear their conversation loud and clear and it went thus:

"How are things coming?"

"We already sent a few of our men to act as guards. They snuck their way in and have successfully entered."

"Good. Now, I want you to find one of our guards amongst them. Give this to them. Instructions have been written inside the package. Tell them to make sure it is followed or there will be consequences."
