Originally, the group was only to stay in Taipei for the day. But with the problems facing Rick's Great Aunt Su Ma, Rick decided that he needed to stay a bit longer. Rodger Yates had been watching the business news on his cell phone when he saw the announcment about the change in board members of the New Global Bank. From his previous research, he knew that this was the bank used by the RBG Group. He thought that maybe this was his chance to find his informant. Rodger arrived at the villa with just two body guards. He did not want to intimidate, just impress. As he got out of the car, Li Fan opened the door to greet him. Old Wilson and Rick had been watching the scene unfold on the monitors. They both agreed that Matthew had played his part well. Rick said "If I did not know Matthew better, I would have thought that he really was betraying me!" Old Wilson laughed and replied "Yes, he did very well. As Old Wilson looked through the stack of documents that Rick had sortd out, he saw the same pattern. It was more than just a few, and mostly pertained to commerical properties. Everything from office buildings, to high rise apartments. And not just in one part of the world. Some of these properties were in China, but most were in the US or Australia. Even in Africa and South America. This set Old Wilson's mind to turning. He wanted to know who else would figure prominantly in these papers. Perhaps it would give them a clue as to who else was involved in the conspiracy to bring trouble to the RBG Group. So they went through all of the papers again, and looked for other similarities. Three names where found to be of interest. One was Bert Gowen, and the other two were Eric Porter and Jack Collins. After learning what had happened to Robin Wright, the members of the group decided that it was not worth the effort to try and suppress the RBG Group. It was highly possible that if they continued to work towards that goal, they themselves would end up in the same position as Robin. None of them wanted that. So it seemed that the only plausable solution was to try and work with them instead. Perhaps in this way, they could find a balance in the market. Had Rick known of this decision, he would have agreed with them. He was not out to destroy other people and their businesses, just to make his the best that it could be. Rodger went out the next day to look at some properties that he had seen on line. His plan was to find a building that was in a good location, but at a very reasonable price. One that would have been seen for sale for a while. The goal was to lure Mr. Green to it on the ruse of trying to sell him the property. But once Rodger got him into the place, he would use the gun to kill Mr. Green. If the location was out of the way enough, no one would find the body for a while. It was a sad day for Rick. Today, he was to bury his beloved mentor, Old Wilson. Old Wilson had been frail, and his health had declined slowly. If someone didn't see him every day, they would notice a vast difference . But since Rick would go down to see his old friend regularly, he did not realise just how bad Old Wilson had gotten. The day dragged on as George frantically looked for his missing man. Since the man had no pockets, he didn't have his cell phone on him. So he could not call the general to tell him what was going on. He had all of his contact numbers in his phone, so he had not bothered to memorize any of them. After ensuring Su Ma had everything that she needed, the group left to return to the yacht. They were to spend the next few days at sea. Everyone was back on board, then they set off for their next port of call, Manilla, Philippines. It was an exotic port, and nothing like anything any of the group had experienced before. The crowd outside the venue were so excited to see their favorite stars and public officals as they arrived at the gala. Once again, the Thomas family came together for a family weekend. The highlight of the weekend was of course the gala for the Green Children's Foundation.
