Riana Rivera's POV

My wolf Ashlely and my vampire self-Luciana had both completely shut me out in anger at me. I now felt so alone in a world full of up to 6 billion people.

A month had passed and I now lived in an apartment that was located in the busy city of New York City as a human and lived on the money from one of my private bank accounts.

For each day that went by for me without any of my mates I felt like I was having a heart attack and was dying slowly piece by piece.

The only good thing in my life now was the white haired widow lady, Mrs. Grace my next door neighbor who had taken it upon herself to become my care taker. No matter how much I had tried to make her leave me alone, to wallow in my misery in peace, that old lady was very persistent until I just ended up giving in.

Who knew some humans could be nice as I now truly appreciated and looked forward to her company especially when she took the time to bake some delicious brownies
