Chapter 15

"Max If you dare to even touch or get close to my partner again, I will treat you even worse than before!" His Royal Wolfness then stated something in a fiercely furious and menacing tone that prompted a stunned and befuddled Max to wonder why his prince had attacked him in such a hazardous manner.

"Do you happen to be his MATE?" Max then stated, looking at me with accusatory eyes, as if he was afraid for his life since no one dared to meddle with another wolf's mate, particularly one of royalty.

Almost immediately, I felt horrible for not informing him about it, but I had not anticipated that my soulmate would really show up and assault him. It was solely my intention for him to feel envious.

Max then swiftly rose to his feet and dashed out to his vehicle without saying anything further, leaving me alone to deal with an enraged and raging Werewolf Prince. In fairness to myself, I was also an enraged Vampire princess, so we could both participate in that game.
