“Why?” I asked out.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” He asked, trying to signal me not to be rude to her.

“I’m just asking her. She claims she came to visit me and she’s not staying for at least a week but a whole month. “It’s just so absurd,” I said to him as she stared at me with those innocent eyes that creeped me out.

I sighed and I gently hugged myself, though there was still lots of enemies around and battles to be won yet I solemnly swore that I'd protect my unborn child from whatever comes his way. I prayed to the goddess to give me strength, strength enough to shield my son away from the rough life which I had lived and also wisdom to teach him to become a better alpha than his father.Tears of joy rolled down my cheeks as the baby kicked again, this time around it was gentle and not painful unlike the first time and I smiled. It meant my son was caring enough not to hurt his mother. I couldn't contain my joy which was almost interrupted by the ringing of my phone. The phone laid lazily on the bed and I felt too lazy to stand or pick it.Luckily; Jacintha came in just in time with a tray in hand which housed my meal.
