Margaret and Emily, who had been eavesdropping at the door, burst into the room joyfully when they heard that.

"So, you've finally come to your senses! You and Thomas were never a good match to begin with!"

"Exactly! Someone like you should consider it a blessing to have lived with the Roberts family for five years!" Emily chimed in.

"Know your place! You're not even worthy of carrying Claire's shoes!" she sneered.

When I mentioned divorce, Thomas stopped in his tracks. He turned around, standing against the light, his expression hidden, but his entire demeanor radiated coldness.

"Serena Carter, have you lost your mind? Hm?" His voice was chilling.

I smiled bitterly. How ironic. I had asked for a divorce to free him and Claire, yet he had hesitated.

On the other hand, Claire finally seemed to grasp that I was Thomas' wife. However, there was no turning back for her, so she clung to him, holding his hand tightly.

"Thomas, I don't mind if you get a divorce..." she whispered.
