“Run!!!” That was the last thing I heard before I blanked out.

“Selene, Selene, wake up.” I was being shaken and I tried opening my eyes and closed them back immediately due to the intensity of the light.

“Xander turn off the lights.” A feminine voice commanded and I tried to place where I knew the voice from.

“Selene, it’s me. It’s Alexandria your baby’s godmother and your adopted mother.” She introduced herself and I cowered back from fear.

“Who are you?” I asked and was surprised at how raspy the voice was, My throat hurt from just muttering the statement.

“Xander can you please give me that glass of water.” She pleaded and the so-called Alexander sprung into action, I saw the distant and pained look in his eyes. He looked like someone who was bearing the burden of thousands of people's deaths, he passed the glass of water to Ria and she collected it immediately and passed it over so I chugged down the water in a go.
