Lucian’s POV

Ethan practically dragged me into my room, insisting he stay over for the night. I didn’t see the point, but he had this look in his eyes like he wasn’t going to let it go.

“You’re not getting rid of me tonight, Lucian,” he said, flopping down on the couch in the corner of my room. “I’m staying right here, just in case. Plus, you’ve been acting weird lately, and I need to keep an eye on you.”

I rolled my eyes, but the truth was, I didn’t have the energy to argue. “I don’t need a babysitter, Ethan.”

“Call it what you want, but you’re not alone tonight. End of discussion.” He crossed his arms and gave me a smug grin.

“Fine, whatever. Just don’t start rearranging my things like you did last time,” I muttered, throwing a blanket over myself and trying to get comfortable in bed.

Morning came with a vengeance. I woke up with a sharp, stabbing pain in my abdomen, like someone was twisting a knife inside me. It was the kind of pain that made it impossible to think straight, and I

Ethan’s POVI straightened up, stretching my arms. "Why don’t you head to bed? I’ll make sure everything else is taken care of for the day. You just focus on recovering. I’ll even tell Gwen to take it easy, too. She’s probably not enjoying this much either." I said to Lucian.Lucian nodded, still reluctant but knowing deep down that I was right. "Fine. But if anything important happens, I expect you to let me know.""Of course, Lucian," I said, walking toward the door. "Now go get some rest before I have to knock you out myself."He grumbled under his breath as he slowly stood up, wincing from the pain still radiating through his abdomen. "This better work, Ethan.""It will," I called over his shoulder as I left the room. "And if it doesn’t, well... we’ll cross that bridge when we get there."He shook his head and made his way to the bed, lying down carefully. I quietly closed the door to Lucian’s room, watching him as he finally settled into bed. He wasn’t too happy about resting, b

Gwen’s POVSilence settled between Ethan and me for a while. I felt like I was starting to understand Lucian a little better now. His reserved nature, his reluctance to open up, it all made sense. He’d been through so much, and the weight of that loss was still with him.“So… Lucian never found his mate?” I asked quietly.Ethan shook his head. “No. And even now, he carries the weight of that promise. A part of him still holds on to Arlene, even though she’s gone.”I didn’t know what to say. I felt like a fool for even thinking I could compete with someone like Arlene, someone who Lucian had loved enough to make such a promise for. But at the same time, I realized something important.“I didn’t know,” I whispered, feeling a lump form in my throat. “I didn’t know how much he’d been through.”Ethan stood up, his expression softening. “It’s a lot, Gwen. But you should know, you’re not competing with Arlene. She’s gone, and Lucian’s moving on in his way. You’re here now, and that’s what ma

Gwen’s POVAfter Lila shared what little she knew about Arlene, I sat in silence for a moment, letting her words sink in. The revelation that Lucian still hadn’t avenged Arlene’s death weighed heavily on me. It broke my heart to think that he was still carrying that burden, unable to find closure.I felt a sudden pang of guilt for asking so many questions and reopening old wounds, but I couldn’t help it. Every time I learned something new about Arlene, it made me feel more distant from Lucian. How could I ever measure up to someone he loved so deeply? Someone who left such a lasting impact on his heart?Sensing my mood had shifted, Lila gently placed a hand on my shoulder, pulling me from my thoughts. “Miss Gwen, let’s finish getting you ready,” she said softly, her voice filled with kindness.I nodded, thankful for the change in conversation. “You’re right. I don’t want to keep everyone waiting.”Once Lila was done, she stepped back and admired her work. “All set. You’re ready.”I no

Lucian’s POVI couldn’t believe what was happening. As we sat in the backseat of the car, Gwen’s hand in mine, something hit me hard. It wasn’t just that we shared each other’s pain, that strange connection where if she got hurt, I felt it too. No, this was different. This was deeper.I could feel her emotions. Like, feel them. And it was messing with me because I wasn’t just picking up on her nervousness, I was feeling it too. It made my chest tighten, and when I looked at her, I could see that she was struggling just as much as I was. Tears were welling up in her eyes, and that threw me off more than I wanted to admit.I don’t cry. It’s not my thing. But right then, sitting there with her, I felt it. I felt that lump in my throat, the burn in my eyes. And I realized something: it wasn’t just her pain we shared. We shared our feelings and our emotions. It dumbfounded me. I didn’t know what to do with that discovery. It was like a door had opened between us that I hadn’t even known wa

  • Revenge Of The Reborn Luna   Unrecognizable Alpha

Lucian’s POVAs we made our way further into the hall, I felt a subtle shift in the atmosphere. There was a presence approaching that I couldn't ignore. I could sense Gwen's tension rising as Damien and a lady came into view. “Who is she?” I whispered as I tightened my grip on her hand, giving it a gentle squeeze, a silent reassurance that I was right there with her.“It’s Elara, my once most trusted maid,” She replied.“Look who it is,” Damien called out, his voice dripping with feigned enthusiasm. He approached us with an exaggerated smile plastered on his face, but I could see right through him. “Alpha Lucian! It’s been ages! And who is this stunning lady you have by your side?”I kept my expression stoic, unwilling to give him the satisfaction of seeing me react. I knew exactly what Damien was capable of, and I had no intention of letting him get too comfortable. My reputation as the no-nonsense Alpha was something I took pride in, and I wasn’t about to let Damien undermine it.

  • Revenge Of The Reborn Luna   Unresolved Emotion

Gwen’s POVThe event had begun with all the formalities one would expect from an event teeming with Alphas, Lunas, and their ambitious heirs. The hall was grand, every corner meticulously decorated to exude power and prestige. But despite the sparkling chandeliers, the polished silverware, and the laughter echoing across the room, a tension hung thick in the air.Unsurprisingly, Damien was the one causing the tension. He was standing on a dais in the middle of the room, right under the chandeliers as though he belonged in some painting titled Portrait of Arrogance. He wore a smile that didn’t reach his eyes, and his voice carried over the crowd, smooth and self-assured.“And to think that after the betrayal at the coronation—after the woman meant to share my throne vanished into the night—I still rose,” he declared, drawing out each word. “I became Alpha, undeterred, stronger. Because that’s what true leaders do. They rise above misfortune and betrayal.”Betrayal. I scoffed under my b

GWEN’S POVMy heart raced as I turned, a surge of instinct urging me to confront whoever had stepped onto the balcony. I thought it was Lucian, coming to check on me, but as I caught sight of the familiar silhouette, my breath hitched in my throat.Elara Avalon. The name was a bitter taste on my tongue, a reminder of all that had transpired. She stood there, framed by the soft glow of the lanterns, her expression inscrutable. The urge to lunge at her, to beat her down for being part of the plot against me, surged within me like a tidal wave. I could practically feel the fire in my veins, the righteous anger boiling beneath the surface. There she stood, her icy demeanor unmarred by the tension around us. Her hair fell in dark waves around her shoulders, framing a face that was both beautiful and infuriatingly smug. The silver dress she wore shimmered under the moonlight, the fabric hugging her figure in a way that screamed confidence.Elara’s dress seemed to glow under the soft lumines

  • Revenge Of The Reborn Luna   Not An Alpha

LUCIEN’S POVThe hum of voices and the subtle strains of orchestral music surrounded me as I stood at the edge of the hall, scanning the room with a carefully honed detachment. A figure moved into my line of sight. Damien strode up to me, his face plastered with a confident, almost smug expression. The way he moved and carried himself—a touch too self-assured—reminded me of the rivalry we shared, even though he was not aware of it.In my mind, I could still hear Gwen’s broken voice as she explained how he had betrayed her along with her maid, Elara. "Lucian," he greeted, extending his hand with an overly gracious smile that didn’t reach his eyes.“Damien,” I responded, taking his hand briefly before letting it drop. I kept my tone neutral, even as he stared at me with that calculating gleam in his eyes.“I wanted to speak with you privately. There’s a matter I’d like to discuss—a proposal. One that could benefit both of us.”I tilted my head, allowing a faint smirk to show. “A propo

I couldn’t help but laugh sometimes, wondering how the pack would handle this version of their Alpha Queen. The first few weeks after Ethan had confirmed the news felt like an endless roller coaster. My body seemed to change by the day, the weight of pregnancy settling into my bones. Some days, I could hardly keep my eyes open; others, I felt like I could conquer the world. But it wasn’t just my body that was changing—it was my emotions, too. I’d snap at Lucian for something trivial, my mind a storm of thoughts and anxieties, only to immediately apologize and burst into tears because I felt guilty. Hormones? No. This was an Alpha’s pregnancy, and it was intense.Lucian, bless h

GWENThe night was quiet, serene—almost too quiet. After the grand celebration of our union, Lucian and I finally had a chance to rest, to take in everything that had happened in the past few days. But sleep eluded me that night. I found myself lying awake, staring at the moon through the open window. Its light bathed the land in silver, peaceful and eternal, much like the bond I shared with Lucian. That’s when it happened.A soft presence filled the room, a comforting warmth that seemed to come from nowhere and everywhere at once. I blinked, sitting up, my heart racing. The room was empty, yet I felt no fear. There was only a sense of calm, as if I were being cradled in the very arms of the night itself. Then, a voice, as gentle as the moon’s glow, filled my mind.Gwen.My breath caught in my throat. It was her, the Moon Goddess.Do not be afraid, child. I have watched you closely. Your defiance, your refusal to bow to the constraints of destiny, it inspired me. You, Gwen, have shown

But life had to go on, and I had promised her that I would lead our pack into a future that honored everything she had taught me.The clearing was quiet, the air still with the weight of anticipation. The pack had gathered to honor Arlene, and as I stood before the gathered faces, I could feel her presence with me, as if she were standing right behind me, offering her silent support. I could almost hear her voice, whispering the words of strength I needed to carry on.The ceremony was simple, yet filled with reverence. The flowers we had picked from the fields, the candles that flickered with a soft light, and the incense that swirled through the air all spoke of love, loss, and

  • Revenge Of The Reborn Luna   The Dead Legacy and The Proposal

GWENThe moonlight cast a soft glow over the newly rebuilt pack lands, the air crisp and alive with the whispers of a future we were all striving toward. The sounds of construction had faded, replaced with a deeper kind of peace, one that had been hard-earned, fought for with the blood of our people and the weight of history on our shoulders.I had spent so many nights looking out over these lands, reflecting on what had been lost under Damien’s reign and what we were now building together. My heart still carried the scars of his betrayal, but I had made a promise to my people—to rebuild, to heal, and to lead them into a future where we could finally be free of the shadow he had cast over us.With Lucian by my side, that promise felt more like a vow I could keep.It had been weeks since the last of Damien’s forces had been rooted out, since we had finally reclaimed our territories. There were no more whispers of traitors hiding in the shadows, no more enemies creeping through the crac

  • Revenge Of The Reborn Luna   Redemption

GWENThe wind swept through the ruins of the once-great city, carrying with it the scent of fresh earth and rebuilding. Everywhere I looked, the landscape bore the marks of war—broken walls, shattered homes, the remnants of lives lost. But amidst the destruction, there was something else. Hope. It was growing, slowly but surely, as my people—my pack—began to rebuild what was lost.I stood at the edge of the newly constructed walls, my gaze sweeping over the horizon. The sun was rising, casting a golden glow on the charred remnants of Damien's reign. It was almost surreal to think about how far we had come, and how much we had been through. I had been forced into a role I never expected, thrust into the leadership of a pack torn apart by betrayal and bloodshed. Yet, here I was, standing strong, the weight of my people’s trust on my shoulders.Lucian stood beside me, his presence steady and grounding. His hand brushed against mine, a silent reminder that I wasn't alone in this. We were

  • Revenge Of The Reborn Luna   A Night of Passion

GWENLucian’s scent, earthy and steady, with just a hint of spice, wrapped around me like a balm. He didn’t speak, just came to stand beside me, his broad shoulders silhouetted against the faint glow of the dying fire.“You’re brooding,” he said softly, breaking the silence.I huffed a breath, the corner of my mouth twitching in a half-hearted smile. “I prefer the term ‘reflecting.’”He chuckled, the sound low and rich, vibrating through the cool night air. He didn’t push me to speak, giving me the space I needed to sort through my thoughts. But the silence between us wasn’t empty, it was filled with the steady, unspoken connection we always shared. Finally, I exhaled deeply, letting the words I’d been holding back tumble out. “Do you ever wonder if... if we’re doing the right thing? If I’m doing the right thing?”He turned to face me, his dark eyes searching mine. “What brought that on?”I gestured vaguely toward the clearing. “Everything. • Revenge Of The Reborn Luna   The Price of Victory

GWENThe sun dipped low in the sky, casting its warm, amber glow across the clearing as the pack gathered to honor our fallen. The air was thick with grief, mingling with the faint scent of earth and smoke from the makeshift pyres. Each face was etched with sorrow, yet there was a quiet sense of pride among us—a recognition of the strength it took to survive and protect our home.I stood at the center, my hands clasped tightly in front of me. Lucian stood beside me, his presence grounding me as I struggled to find the right words. My voice felt heavy, burdened by the weight of loss and the responsibility to keep our pack moving forward. The clearing felt alive with silence, the kind that pressed against your ears and made every thought louder. Wolves of all ranks and ages were gathered, their postures stiff, their eyes solemn. Mothers clutched their children close; warriors stood with heads bowed. The pyres, carefully built from branches and kindling, stood like solemn sentinels await

  • Revenge Of The Reborn Luna   The Ruthless Alpha

GWENAfter the whole saga with Elaine, it was time to addressed the ruthless Alpha. The forest was eerily quiet as we approached the rogue Alpha’s camp, the kind of quiet that sets your teeth on edge and makes you hyper-aware of every sound. Lucian walked ahead of me, his stride confident and steady, even though the tension radiating off him was impossible to miss. I stayed close, my senses sharp and ready. This wasn’t just any rogue we were dealing with. This was the Alpha who had dared to ally with Damien, who had promised reinforcements that could have devastated us.And now, he was about to face justice. We reached the edge of the clearing where the rogue’s camp was situated. My eyes swept over the scene—ragged wolves lounging near a smoldering fire, a few sharpening weapons, others pacing like caged animals. They were a sorry sight, but there was still danger in their unpredictability. The air was thick with the smell of unwashed bodies and stale aggression. Then he emerged. The

  • Revenge Of The Reborn Luna   Elaine’s Karma

GWENThe battlefield was quiet now, starkly contrasting to the chaos that had reigned just hours ago. The storm Damien had summoned had dissipated, leaving a somber calm in its wake. The bodies of the fallen were being tended to, and the wounded were receiving care. Yet, amidst the aftermath of battle, another storm was brewing—a far more personal one.I stood at the center of the pack’s gathering, my Alpha aura still humming with power. The tension was palpable as two warriors dragged Elaine before me. She was disheveled and bruised, her hair matted with blood and dirt. Yet her eyes held no remorse, only a bitter defiance that made my stomach churn. The pack murmured angrily, their voices rising as they hurled accusations at her.“Traitor!”“She almost cost us everything!”“She deserves death!”I raised my hand, and silence fell instantly. I stared at Elaine, trying to reconcile the image of the loyal maid I once trusted with the venomous woman kneeling before me.“Elaine,” I began,
