LUCIEN’S POV

The hum of voices and the subtle strains of orchestral music surrounded me as I stood at the edge of the hall, scanning the room with a carefully honed detachment.

A figure moved into my line of sight. Damien strode up to me, his face plastered with a confident, almost smug expression. The way he moved and carried himself—a touch too self-assured—reminded me of the rivalry we shared, even though he was not aware of it.

In my mind, I could still hear Gwen’s broken voice as she explained how he had betrayed her along with her maid, Elara.

"Lucian," he greeted, extending his hand with an overly gracious smile that didn’t reach his eyes.

“Damien,” I responded, taking his hand briefly before letting it drop. I kept my tone neutral, even as he stared at me with that calculating gleam in his eyes.

“I wanted to speak with you privately. There’s a matter I’d like to discuss—a proposal. One that could benefit both of us.”

I tilted my head, allowing a faint smirk to show. “A propo

LUCIEN’S POVWe watched Damien and Elara as he dragged her off. When they were gone, I turned to Gwen, searching her face for any sign of distress. But she merely shook her head, offering me a small, wry smile. “Thank you,” she murmured, her voice soft, steady. “But I could have handled it.”“I know,” I replied, my voice barely more than a whisper as I reached for her hand, feeling the warmth of her skin against mine. “But some things…no one should have to handle alone.”Gwen’s hand lingered in mine, her fingers delicate yet steady. The moonlight softened the shadows in her eyes, but I could still see the weight they carried—a weariness I wished I could erase.“Gwen,” I began carefully, studying her expression. “Has Damien ever been… rough with you? Abusive in any way?”A slight shiver coursed through her, but she shook her head, her eyes darkening as memories surfaced. “No,” she replied slowly. “He wasn’t… physical. Not until everything fell apart. The day of the coronation was the d

GWEN’S POVThe world narrowed down to Lucien—the warmth of his lips, the solid press of his hands, the way his kiss felt like it was drawing out a part of me I didn’t know I’d been hiding. Lucian’s closeness washed over me, his scent, a mix of earth and something uniquely him, making it hard to think of anything else. And yet, as he deepened the kiss, my mind was in turmoil, flashes of memories crashing over me, thoughts of everything that had brought me to this moment. My eyes were wide open, taking in the sight of his face close to mine, the intensity in his expression softened by something vulnerable and raw. My wolf stirred with excitement, urging me forward, a feeling of anticipation building inside me that was thrilling but also terrifying. This is Lucian, I reminded myself as if saying his name would anchor me somehow and help me make sense of the rush of emotions flooding my chest. Lucian, not Damien. Damien’s kisses had always felt calculated, like a transaction, a way to pro

Lucien’s POVI stood there, still, watching Gwen walk away. The energy she left in her wake clung to me as if the air itself had absorbed everything we hadn’t said. A part of me wanted to go after her, to continue that moment, but I couldn’t shake the bewilderment coursing through me. Gwen… or Arlene? Was there truly a difference?Ethan cleared his throat, snapping me out of my thoughts. His face held that same mix of shock and curiosity as if he were watching a particularly confusing scene unfold in a story he thought he understood.“Alright, Lucian,” he started, folding his arms and leaning against the wall with a look that dared me to say something. “Are you going to explain, or am I supposed to just… assume I walked into some kind of alternate universe?”I ran a hand over my face, unwilling to meet his eyes just yet. "Ethan, don’t,” I muttered, hoping that would be enough to put him off, though I knew him better than to expect he’d let this go.“Don’t?” he echoed, sounding incredu

My pulse was still racing as I slipped out of the balcony, ignoring the curious glances of strangers who no doubt noticed my flushed face and hurried steps. My mind was a haze of emotions I couldn’t quite place, swirling in a tangled mess of nerves, confusion, and, if I dared admit it, exhilaration.I barely noticed the group of young women gathered near the entrance to the hallway, their hushed voices rising and falling in rhythmic gossip. I caught a few of their sidelong glances as I passed, but I didn’t have the energy to care. I’d spent too long in this new world, trying to stay unnoticed and out of the way. Right now, all I wanted was space, just a few moments alone to collect myself and figure out why, exactly, Lucian’s touch had shaken me so deeply. As soon as I entered the bathroom, I shut the door behind me, bracing myself against it as I finally exhaled the breath I hadn’t realized I’d been holding. My shoulders dropped, the tension in my body easing just slightly as I took

  • Revenge Of The Reborn Luna   Elara’s Story

Elara’s POVI watched Arlene retreat from the balcony, her movements rushed, almost desperate as she slipped into the shadows toward the restroom. A small smile tugged at my lips as I followed at a measured pace, not wanting to appear overly interested.Approaching the ladies clustered near the hallway entrance, I tilted my head, scanning each of them with a knowing look. They were a picture of shallow elegance, perfectly styled and poised, with one foot always hovering on the edge of scandal. Their hushed whispers ceased the moment they caught sight of me.“Luna Elara!” one of them, a petite blonde with far too many diamonds and far too few original thoughts, greeted me with a sugary smile. “You look ravishing tonight. I don’t think we’ve ever seen emeralds look so perfect on anyone.”“Why, thank you, Calla,” I replied smoothly, adjusting my gown as I held her gaze. “And you look as radiant as ever.” I turned my attention to the others, noting their anticipation. LUCIAN’S POVI stood beside Ethan, still trying to make sense of what had just happened, feeling a cascade of emotions that refused to settle. Arlene—no, Gwen. She was Gwen, and I knew that, but every part of my being was still struggling to grasp it. Every instinct told me to protect her, to shield her from whatever forces had conspired to keep her hidden, reborn under a different name. But the kiss, the depth in her eyes—everything between us had felt like it could break me in ways I hadn’t anticipated.I caught myself clenching my fists and forcing them to relax, though my mind refused to slow down. I was failing, and the feeling left me hollow.“Lucian?” Ethan’s voice broke through my reverie, drawing me back into the moment. Lucian’s POVThe second I felt that sharp, burning pain at the side of my head, I knew something was wrong. It wasn’t just a headache or a random ache; it felt personal like I was somehow sharing someone else's pain. And that’s when it hit me, it was Gwen. She was hurt.I glanced around, looking for her, the anxiousness growing like a storm inside me. My pulse quickened, and my wolf stirred, fueling the anger building in my chest. One look at my face, the fury in my eyes, and he understood. “It’s Gwen, isn’t it?” he asked quietly, as if speaking it too loudly would make the pain worse.I clenched my jaw, swallowing back the frustration, and nodded. “Someone’s hurting her,” I said, my voice tight and low. “And who

GWENThe night was quiet, serene—almost too quiet. After the grand celebration of our union, Lucian and I finally had a chance to rest, to take in everything that had happened in the past few days. But sleep eluded me that night. I found myself lying awake, staring at the moon through the open window. Its light bathed the land in silver, peaceful and eternal, much like the bond I shared with Lucian. That’s when it happened.A soft presence filled the room, a comforting warmth that seemed to come from nowhere and everywhere at once. • Revenge Of The Reborn Luna   The Dead Legacy and The Proposal

GWENThe moonlight cast a soft glow over the newly rebuilt pack lands, the air crisp and alive with the whispers of a future we were all striving toward. The sounds of construction had faded, replaced with a deeper kind of peace, one that had been hard-earned, fought for with the blood of our people and the weight of history on our shoulders.I had spent so many nights looking out over these lands, reflecting on what had been lost under Damien’s reign and what we were now building together. My heart still carried the scars of his betrayal, but I had made a promise to my people—to rebuild, to heal, and to lead them into a future where we could finally be free of the shadow he had cast over us.With Lucian by my side, that promise felt more like a vow I could keep.It had been weeks since the last of Damien’s forces had been rooted out, since we had finally reclaimed our territories. • Revenge Of The Reborn Luna   Redemption

GWENThe wind swept through the ruins of the once-great city, carrying with it the scent of fresh earth and rebuilding. It was growing, slowly but surely, as my people—my pack—began to rebuild what was lost.I stood at the edge of the newly constructed walls, my gaze sweeping over the horizon. The sun was rising, casting a golden glow on the charred remnants of Damien's reign. It was almost surreal to think about how far we had come, and how much we had been through. I had been forced into a role I never expected, thrust into the leadership of a pack torn apart by betrayal and bloodshed. Yet, here I was, standing strong, the weight of my people’s trust on my shoulders.Lucian stood beside me, his presence steady and grounding. He didn’t push me to speak, giving me the space I needed to sort through my thoughts. But the silence between us wasn’t empty, it was filled with the steady, unspoken connection we always shared. Finally, I exhaled deeply, letting the words I’d been holding back tumble out. “Do you ever wonder if... if we’re doing the right thing? If I’m doing the right thing?”He turned to face me, his dark eyes searching mine. “What brought that on?”I gestured vaguely toward the clearing. “Everything. Each face was etched with sorrow, yet there was a quiet sense of pride among us—a recognition of the strength it took to survive and protect our home.I stood at the center, my hands clasped tightly in front of me. Lucian stood beside me, his presence grounding me as I struggled to find the right words. My voice felt heavy, burdened by the weight of loss and the responsibility to keep our pack moving forward. The clearing felt alive with silence, the kind that pressed against your ears and made every thought louder. • Revenge Of The Reborn Luna   The Ruthless Alpha

GWENAfter the whole saga with Elaine, it was time to addressed the ruthless Alpha. The forest was eerily quiet as we approached the rogue Alpha’s camp, the kind of quiet that sets your teeth on edge and makes you hyper-aware of every sound. Lucian walked ahead of me, his stride confident and steady, even though the tension radiating off him was impossible to miss. I stayed close, my senses sharp and ready. This wasn’t just any rogue we were dealing with. This was the Alpha who had dared to ally with Damien, who had promised reinforcements that could have devastated us.And now, he was about to face justice. We reached the edge of the clearing where the rogue’s camp was situated. Yet, amidst the aftermath of battle, another storm was brewing—a far more personal one.I stood at the center of the pack’s gathering, my Alpha aura still humming with power. The tension was palpable as two warriors dragged Elaine before me. She was disheveled and bruised, her hair matted with blood and dirt. Yet her eyes held no remorse, only a bitter defiance that made my stomach churn. The pack murmured angrily, their voices rising as they hurled accusations at her.“Traitor!”“She almost cost us everything!”“She deserves death!”I raised my hand, and silence fell instantly. I stared at Elaine, trying to reconcile the image of the loyal maid I once trusted with the venomous woman kneeling before me.“Elaine,” I began,
